Bomb Terror.

It’s a bomb terror happening under the leadership of a cult-like religious group.

Moreover, the targets of such bomb terror are quite varied.

Protestant Church, Catholic Cathedral, Islamic Mosque, Buddhist Temple, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints… yes, even the church known as Mormonism.

This dreadful group has almost exclusively targeted religions with bomb terror.

As if they themselves were the only ones that should exist on this earth.

The only religions that escaped this terror are minor religious facilities that didn’t feel worth targeting, or those that could potentially face backlash if attacked, and their own bases, of course.

However, one question arises here.

Would a group that sends believers to bomb other religious organizations spare their own church? This is an entirely reasonable doubt.

The answer is…

“Millennial Kingdom! Millennial Kingdom!”

“A fence and walls of protection will be created to guard us from the viper and fire; Messiah, save us and take us to the eternal happiness of the Light Kingdom filled with faith!”

“In the Millennial Kingdom, no one shall intrude! His grace will descend upon us!”

“An angel with the keys of the endless abyss and great chains will descend from heaven to bind the serpent and cast it into the pit; finally, authority shall be granted to us, and we will sit on high thrones, basking in the happiness of a thousand years alongside His son!”

“Millennial Kingdom! Millennial Kingdom! For the great Millennial Kingdom! Return! Judge! Establish the eternal kingdom!”

Of course, the answer was ‘no.’

This group began to fortify their church like a fortress.

As if they thoroughly knew that such a time would come.

Walls made of thick reinforced concrete, sturdier than many bunkers.

Alloy walls purchased and installed with voluntary donations from the believers.

All sorts of interception facilities.

Warriors of God who meticulously honed their shooting and combat skills while preparing for a Holy War.

Homemade bombs and countless bullets and shells stacked high.

And.

“The serpent must be struck down with a staff; therefore, you shall take this as your staff and vanquish the serpent. It is your duty to strike it down with the might of the raging fire and thunderous judgment!”

Cannons.

Yes, they even had battlefield cannons.

Culverin cannons, the kind used hundreds of years ago!

This fanatical group deliberately trained blacksmiths to produce weaponry in traditional ways, and with them, they crafted cannons. Of course, compared to factory-made weapons, they lacked uniform quality and had some rough edges…

But because they referred to numerous papers, public technologies, and books, the quality far surpassed that of the blacksmiths of centuries past.

Thick castle walls made of reinforced concrete.

Windows that were alloyed as if waiting for an attack.

And in the numerous holes that were more for show than functionality, massive cannons and machine guns were now installed to fill those spaces.

It was hard not to doubt if this was truly a scene from the modern age.

“…Oh, did I just time travel?”

“…This must have looked like it was during the Crusades?”

Naturally, anyone witnessing this sight could only be dumbfounded.

Police who received tips about the suspicious church rushed in, while the SWAT team and sheriff came onto the scene, astonished as cannons and guns popped out amidst the fanatical shouts.

Everyone was left utterly speechless by what they were witnessing.

To make matters worse, another shocking piece of news was delivered.

“We inform you that the sect is the main perpetrator of the ongoing bomb terror across America. They are currently assaulting religious facilities wearing bomb vests. Furthermore, psychometric readings have confirmed that not only religious sites but also several pharmaceutical companies, biotech research institutes, hospitals, universities, and academic societies are among their targets.”

“Use any means necessary to subdue them. They are targeting innocent citizens, as well as facilities and people related to the civilization and future of America.”

A horrific story.

The suspicious church before me was involved in unthinkable acts of terror across America.

But I couldn’t choose to remain disbelieving.

[America is currently under attack. Not from external forces, but from an internal cancer attacking us. They disguise themselves as religion, carrying bombs while refusing to acknowledge differences, only seeking to harm neighbors and friends with their narrow-minded views and ideologies…!]

[…The ones committing terror right now are a Protestant sect classified as heretical, claiming angels and the Messiah will save them and grant them eternal happiness in the Millennial Kingdom—]

[They are not Protestants! They are a horrific terrorist group disguised as Protestants! They are more wicked and evil than the terrorists of the Middle East or the Catholic priests and nuns who once slaughtered natives with guns! They are the minions of Satan, nothing less than the offspring of venomous serpents! …What? Viper? To dare call us that while we are fulfilling our divine duties…! …Stop them from getting into the broadcasting station! Stop them—!]

[American citizens, this is real. This is a real situation. The entire nation of America is exposed to the threat of terror—]

TVs, radios, and the internet were non-stop broadcasting about the terror happening now.

“…Crazy bastards.”

A madman.

Truly a madman and nothing less.

In a world that was running smoothly, suddenly there’s talk of doomsday, and then out of the blue, they resort to terror claiming martyrdom…

“No. No matter how you slice it, I can’t understand these fanatics.”

I couldn’t understand.

I didn’t want to understand.

But one thing is clear: they need to be stopped.

And.

“Request military assistance.”

Without deploying the military, I’d need a way to break down those thick, ignorant walls.

Bomb terror at religious facilities.

A standoff at the churches of the religious group in question.

But as the police had read using psychometry, their goals didn’t stop there.

Daring to ignore the immortal truth that the great one created the world and spread atheism under the guise of “science,” behold the minions of Satan—the scientists.

They wielded bizarre, devilish technologies like nanomachines and genetic manipulation to heal people while injecting their bodies with evil to corrupt their purity.

And the researchers supplying them with technology, the minions of Satan.

Universities and specialized schools, the nests of such spawn of the devil, were targeted.

All these places were precisely the objectives of this fanatical religious group.

When people realized this horrific truth, they were astonished.

And naturally, they began to employ every means at their disposal to avert this terrible horror that was about to befall them…

“You unbelievers, do you not know that everything about your birth and death and life is recorded in the book of life? How dare you, with human strength, defy the will of God and casually judge that book!? How dare you deprive them of the opportunity for salvation by injecting evil into them, to control and corrupt them and turn the world into Sodom and Gomorrah!? The judgment of God will be upon you and the polluted patients…!”

BANG-!

In some places, snipers were deployed for takedowns.

“How dare you paleontologists and archaeologists ignore the lineage of life? The fact that the great one shaped this world is so clear, and the duration is precisely as written in the Bible; how can you mock us with absurd numbers like millions and billions? Your words are the work of devilish troglodytes…!”

KABOOM!

In other locations, psychics were sent to eliminate them, or grenade launchers were tossed from afar to make some self-destruct.

“Clear them out! Do you think I can’t break in just because you’ve built a barricade out of junk?!”

In areas without fighters, they used junk to build barricades, buying time until someone could come to subdue the terrorists.

Amidst it all, people were fighting back against the fanatical sudden terror intelligently.

…Well, most of them were.

But sadly, there were places that couldn’t defend against this terror.

Places that were over-reliant on their security systems and had let their guard down, or locations where this fanatical religious group had deliberately planted infiltrators.

In the former case, like many other places, there were catastrophic explosions where buildings got blown apart, facilities were partially destroyed, or research materials were lost.

In the latter case, where infiltrators were intentionally placed… they encountered an even more terrible fate than the former, even if on the surface everything appeared intact.

“Why the hell is the intranet connected to the outside…?”

“All… all of our research data has been leaked to the deep web…”

“AAAHHHHH!”

Their research data.

Their lifeblood, perhaps even more precious than their lives, had been completely compromised.

Even illicit materials were included, all!

A horrific act, one that a human with a heart should never commit.

As the worst nightmare that could befall a researcher became reality, they were utterly unable to maintain their sanity.

Among those who had half-crazed out of their minds, there were indeed some truly dangerous kinds…

“Our… our research… the one collecting elastic energy in strata…!!!”

A defense contractor researching artificial faults to trigger earthquakes.

“The weather… clouds… drought…”

A lab researching methods for artificial rain at lower costs.

“All the research we were doing on drug addicts is gone…”

A pharmaceutical company that was resetting the damaged reward systems of drug addicts with electrical stimulation and chemicals.

“All the blueprints are gone…”

A startup that was producing methods for creating bombs, firearms, and anti-tank weapons through 3D printing.

And…

“It seems I’ve been found out.”

One of the precursors to the infamous ‘Glacier Alliance’ of the future, known as the ‘GreenSaurus Climate Change Research Institute,’ which on the surface appeared to be studying global warming but was actually involved in malicious acts aimed at reducing the population of the Earth by intentionally degrading resources or contaminating the land.

The domino of fanatics called “religious zealots” was now toppling another horrifying domino.
