Chapter 302
In the jungle, the control room remained solitary.
Inside, the woman furiously pounded the [Emergency Shutdown] button with trembling hands.
As the hydraulic cylinder roared and the door began to close, the sound of a velociraptor’s claws scratching at the control room door echoed.
If the emergency shutdown had been just one second late, those raptors would have broken into the control room.
The woman leaned back in the control room chair, gasping for breath.
“Ugh.”
Now, she was left all alone inside this massive steel chunk.
Even her always-kind fiancé and the senior who taught her various things had been killed by those monsters.
Perhaps because she was the only one left, the control room felt much chillier than before.
The woman struggled to calm herself and slowly exhaled.
“Fuu, I can’t die like this.”
She tried to portray her situation positively.
“It’s okay. Dinosaurs can’t break through the object partition.”
All her companions were dead, and outside, terrifying dinosaurs roamed, not to mention they were in the territory of the special object ‘Green Moon.’
“If I hold out here, help will surely come.”
The woman stood up and looked around the control room.
Computers, monitors, and various devices were crammed inside.
The remaining operational time for the emergency object generator was about three months.
She let out a deep sigh.
To survive, she had to use her brain.
She needed to find a way out of this desperate situation.
But right now, she was utterly exhausted.
The woman lay on the floor and closed her eyes for a moment.
She wanted to forget this horrifying reality, even if it was just in her dreams.
As she began to drift into shallow sleep, she jolted awake to the sudden emergency alarm.
Beeep! Beeep!
The woman hurriedly shook off her drowsiness and checked the control room monitors.
The CCTV screens showed raptors lurking near the control room.
But strangely, several CCTV connections were cut off.
“!?”
The woman gasped in shock as she looked at the CCTV screen.
The raptors reflected on the screen looked somewhat strange.
It was as if their bones and flesh were melting away, twisted and hardened.
Moreover, those twisted raptors were roaming around the control room, gnawing and destroying the external surveillance cameras.
“How is this possible?”
There’s no way that mere beasts like raptors know the function of surveillance cameras!
Monitors that had been brightly illuminating the control room began to fade one by one into darkness.
Hah. Hah.
The woman was protected from danger behind the safe partition, but an inexplicable fear consumed her, and her breath grew quicker.
Eventually, all the surveillance camera screens went dark.
It felt like she had become blind in an instant.
The cries of the raptors.
The sound of their claws scratching the outer wall mercilessly.
Though she couldn’t see them, she could distinctly feel the presence of the raptors.
At that moment, the dim lights on the ceiling flickered anxiously.
“Could it be the wiring?”
The woman exclaimed in surprise, just as she checked the control console.
Red lights began to flash on the control room screen.
[Vital Generator Offline]
Could it be that the wires connecting the control room to the generator were exposed through the twisted and broken outer wall by the Green Moon?
The control room descended into darkness, starting to use emergency batteries for minimal system maintenance.
With darkness came the cold.
Darkness, fear, cold.
The woman cowered tightly and muttered to herself.
Help would come soon; she would be fine.
After all, the outer wall was safe enough for an elephant to stomp on, so it would be okay.
Though she flinched at every scratching sound against the wall, she tried hard to remain calm.
As she huddled against the cold and fear, she eventually noticed that it had gone completely silent as if all the raptors had vanished.
Hah. Hah.
In the deafening stillness, only the sound of the woman’s breath echoed.
She stared blankly at the red blinking monitor in that quietness before dozing off.
Beep!
In a hazy half-sleep, she heard the sound of the control room door opening.
How much time had passed?
Could it be that another survivor had arrived in the control room?
Turning her head to check, she saw an ambiguous silhouette beyond the open control room door.
Neither human nor dinosaur, that something.
‘How did it open the iris recognition security door?’
The thought briefly crossed the woman’s mind, but within that silhouette, she could faintly see the head of her senior, as if it had been forcibly stitched together.

In the jungle, there was no trace of the space station.
I was there, relentlessly beating on some annoying meat.
Thwack. Thwack. Thwack.
With a giant black reaper’s sword, twice my height, thwack, I struck.
Supported by the muscle power of the reaper armor made from black reapers, thwack, thwack.
Due to my poor coordination, rather than slicing the meat with the sharp blade, I was striking it with the wide surface of the sword.
‘This is not a Tyrannosaurus!’
What I was hitting was the first dinosaur I encountered in the jungle.
It was a Tyrannosaurus.
But sadly, it was the kind of Tyrannosaurus I disliked.
With thick lips, feathered, and a round belly, this Tyrannosaurus was a clear testament to wrongdoing.
Perhaps because it faintly smelled of human blood, the mini reapers showed no particular reaction.
‘So ugly!’
They just chuckled at the unattractive Tyrannosaurus.
Once the Tyrannosaurus had turned completely into minced meat, I finally relaxed and lay down on the ground.
Lying on the ground, I really saw the blue sky.
‘It’s truly become a planet.’
From the outside, it had seemed like a space station, but as I got closer, the green moon, which had engulfed the station, appeared larger and larger.
And at the moment the green moon appeared to be swallowing the entire station, it transformed into a planet with a dense jungle.
‘This is my first time witnessing planetary-scale space erosion.’
Lost in thought while gazing at the sky, I noticed the mini reapers becoming agitated.
‘Mama!’
Then one golden reaper rushed over to me with a fast pace.
‘Hat!’
Turning my gaze to check, I saw a golden reaper that looked happy.
A tiny dinosaur was biting the face of the golden reaper.
The sharp teeth of the small dinosaur, about the size of a little lizard, looked fierce, but it was of no consequence to the physical immune golden reaper.
It just laughed, delighted with its new hat.
Perhaps envious of the new hat, other golden reapers had quite a number of little dinosaurs caught in their grasp.
The little dinosaurs let out pitiful cries, struggling to escape the golden reaper’s hold.
And as the mini dinosaurs that couldn’t bite tightly onto the golden reaper’s head failed to become hats, they were all disposed of.
‘Golden reapers are merciless to clearly harmful creatures to humans.’
I thought of that, perhaps because I liked dinosaurs.
Once all the golden reapers donned their mini dinosaur hats, I stood up.
I equipped the black reaper armor and raised the giant sword toward the sky, exuding my will.
‘Extinction of the ugly Tyrannosaurus!’
‘Extinction!’
Then even the mini reapers cheerfully echoed the sentiment.
Thump thump thump.
Then the mini reapers and I stepped out into the jungle full of dinosaurs.

The gigantic bizarre creature, Mingming, kept the woman warm throughout the night.
And again, she held the shrunken Mingming and slowly strolled through the jungle, following its lead.
‘Where on earth is Mingming leading me?’
It seemed like Mingming had a clear destination in mind, but since they couldn’t communicate, it felt a bit frustrating.
“Ming!”
Sometimes it felt like Mingming understood her words, yet the woman shook her head vigorously and pushed those thoughts away.
‘By the way, is Mingming an object? Or just an animal?’
The question of whether Mingming was an object was quite important to her.
It was the crossroads of whether she could call it ‘Mingming’ or not.
She wanted to call out ‘Mingming!’ right away, but if it turned out to be an object, it could be a big problem, so she was trying her best to hold back.
In fact, the fact that it emitted a golden light from its eyes seemed to indicate a high possibility of being an object.
As she continued to wander around with various thoughts, she spotted the completely wrecked control room.
On the pristine outer wall, dried blood was smeared everywhere, and the faint smell of blood lingered in the air.
Startled, she wanted to find out what had happened, but Mingming, who was in her arms, suddenly grew large and blocked her view.
“Ming!”
Then something began to appear in the woman’s view as she was distracted by the control room.
In the deep darkness of the jungle, where no light entered, something bizarre was slowly revealing itself.
Its appearance looked as if a dinosaur and a human had been haphazardly mashed together.
The most horrifying part of that grotesque form was its head.
In its mouth, filled with sharp teeth, emerged a familiar face.
It was the face of a colleague who worked in the control room of James Space Station.
“Welcome back. It’s been a while.”
“Welcome back. It’s been a while.”
“Welcome back. It’s been a while.”
From that head, the voice of that colleague continuously poured out.
