Chapter 0

In the past, there was a novel called “Heavenly Poison Witch.”

Even if you just randomly pick a part of the book and read about ten pages, you’d find yourself exclaiming, “Oh my! How shameless!” due to its blatant depictions of sexual content, not unlike a lowbrow martial arts novel.

Back in the days of my youthful vigor as a teenager, I had read this novel nearly ten times, using my imagination as a weapon. The protagonist is a lady named Dokgorin, originally the treasured daughter of the Dokgo clan, who embarks on a lonely journey through the martial world to seek revenge after her family suddenly suffers a tragic downfall.

Now, at this point, it might sound like just another ordinary martial arts story, but Dokgorin, despite being raised as a precious jewel of a martial clan, possesses a cold and calculating personality. She uses her renowned beauty, known as the greatest in the martial world, to track down her enemies.

What impressed me most about this novel was that, even though the main character, Dokgorin, was from a righteous sect, she doesn’t hesitate to use any means necessary for vengeance. Utilizing her beauty was just the beginning; she also borrowed techniques like Dokgong, the vampire technique known as Samawido, and the art of poison to tarnish her body and reputation in order to grow stronger.

As she continued this path of utmost destruction, she earned the nickname “Heavenly Poison Witch” and, while being pursued by the martial world, ultimately ends her revenge by sacrificing herself along with her family’s arch-nemesis, the head of the Murim Association, in a tragedy devoid of hope or dreams.

Yet, for some inexplicable reason, I found myself transported into the world of that “Heavenly Poison Witch,” and after rescuing a young Dokgorin who had fallen into the water while on my way home, my life began to unravel steadily from that day onwards.

“Chilbok, what are you thinking about right now?”

Sudden awakening from my thoughts, I casually replied, “Oh, it’s nothing, my lady.”

“…You know what will happen if you don’t tell me immediately, right?”

With dead eyes, she said this while pulling out a silver dagger from her bosom. Having already seen her self-harm many times, I knew this was serious, so I immediately confessed.

“Actually, I was thinking about the day I first met you!”

At this, Dokgorin grinned as if to say ‘when did I ask for that’ and leaned her body against me.

“Hehe, of course, it’s Chilbok. You always think of me, don’t you?”

“Um!”

The sensation I felt on my back was two soft dumplings.

The pleasure of that soft and squishy feeling shot through my spine and tingled all the way to my brain, but I knew from experience that this was a trap card.

“I thought you might be thinking about other girls while leaving me behind.”

“Ah, my lady. Because of our differences in status, it’s impossible for us to…”

Crack!

“What do you mean by that? Chilbok? Are you deceiving me?”

Oh no, I stepped on a landmine.

I felt the sharpness of Dokgorin’s nails suddenly dig into me as I cursed my mouth that had just spoken carelessly.

“I love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you, love you and love you so much, yet you would abandon me and find happiness with another girl?”

“Ah, no, my lady, that’s not what I meant….”

“Which girl is it? I’d like to know her name quickly. If not, I might go insane and start rampaging.”

“So that’s an exaggeration! My lady! I spend all day with you except when sleeping and bathing—when would I have time to meet other girls?!”

As I spoke, I quickly turned around and embraced the frenzied Dokgorin, whose hair, flowing wildly like Medusa in season, slowly began to calm down.

“Yeah, thinking about it, you’re right. It must be only me for Chilbok, right?”

I responded while shedding hot tears inwardly.

“Of course, my lady Rin.”

Indeed.

Dokgo clan’s treasured daughter, the future Heavenly Poison Witch Dokgorin, was a minefield in the martial world.

And I was just a poor citizen trapped under the grip of such Dokgorin.
