Chapter 98

Chapter 98. A Strong Body Houses a Strong Spirit (1)

Something felt incredibly off, and the responses gave a very, very strong sense of unease. However, the common thread was that once raised, the performance would be satisfying.

“Performance is all that matters, right? A plain appearance isn’t a big deal.”

Thinking that, I felt a bit puzzled but decided to move forward. After all, I had finally gotten my hands on the long-awaited SSS-Class Superhuman.

I made up my mind to seriously focus on raising Partia and started planning diligently. But little did I know, my question would trigger a wave of bizarre, meme-like behavior from their “gallery leader.”

Not long after I posted my question, the entire gallery exploded with strange, lust-filled posts about Partia and other random nonsense…

**Title:** Partia’s Hot Points Highlighted.jpg

**Author:** ㅇㅇ

**Content:** [An image of an arm grotesquely packed with muscles]

Check out these insane biceps and triceps.

Partia is ♡so♡hot♡

Get ♡muscular♡ right now!

**Comments:**

– “Why is it always the lurkers who post this crap?”

– “Big things are always done by lurkers.” (Author)

– “Dude, this isn’t a big thing.”

– “It is a big thing, lol.”

– “Gallery leader approves.”

– “Please, no.”

The content of the post and comments was so hard to understand that I couldn’t help but tilt my head in confusion. It wasn’t just confusion—it was more like a headache from being exposed to some weird, subtle lust.

Not wanting to ruin my precious mental state with unnecessary thoughts, I erased that bizarre post from my mind and decided to focus on raising Partia as planned.

But just a day after having those thoughts, I finally understood why the gallery users had been so adamant about recommending I raise Partia…

**”Long time no see, Icarus.”**

“Oh, you’re here, Body.”

**”…I don’t know what that means, but I’m glad you’re welcoming me.”**

“Why are you contacting me via telepathy all the way here?”

Normally, Oxianor would only give quests if I went to him directly, but today, for some reason, he contacted me first. It was quite unusual, but maybe it was because my “trust level” had increased.

I happily accepted Oxianor’s telepathic message, and perhaps sensing my emotions, Oxianor explained the reason for his contact with a slightly friendlier tone.

**”Well, it’s about a rather serious issue this time.”**

“A serious issue?”

**”Yes. It seems that a special ops team from the Xenobia Empire has infiltrated a newly created ‘Plant’ within our faction… and we’re short on troops to stop them.”**

“Hmm.”

At that moment, a new quest message appeared before my eyes.

**<High-Level Quest>

<Monster Plant Infiltration Defense>**

**Content:** The Monster Faction has discovered an abandoned bioweapon research lab belonging to the Earth Federation and is attempting to turn it into a new Plant. However, before the defending forces could arrive, the Plant was discovered by a special ops team from the Xenobia Empire.

While the various bio-facilities and newly born monster lifeforms within the Plant are holding off the special ops team, ordinary monsters won’t last long against a team composed of at least B-Class Superhumans.

A proper Superhuman must be deployed as soon as possible to stop them.

**Objective:** Deploy at least 1 S-Class or higher Superhuman and 1 Destroyer-class or higher ship to eliminate or subdue the enemy before they destroy the Plant’s core.

Seeing the word “High-Level” boldly written at the top of the quest, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement. Finally, a proper high-level quest had appeared for me!

I felt something that made me feel good.

“Then, Oxianor, what do you want?”

<<"Just as I told you, I hope you can subdue or annihilate the Xenobia Empire's special forces before they destroy the plant core.">>

“Alright, I’ll take that request.”

After receiving a high-level quest, I called Partia, who was supposed to be at the training facility in the base.

Shortly after, Partia appeared, dressed in the same simple nun outfit as yesterday.

Strangely, despite having just been in the training facility, she didn’t have a single drop of sweat and looked completely unfazed.

‘No change in stats… but one more trait has been added.’

First, I quickly checked her level to ensure that this precious SSS-class talent wasn’t thrown into the battlefield at level 1 and met a gruesome end.

Seeing no major issues, I nodded and calmly explained the current situation to Partia.

Partia, in turn, nodded and responded immediately.

“Savior, how do you wish for me to act?”

“Well… there’s this plant I just mentioned. I think you need to go there and deal with the Xenobia Empire’s special forces.”

“Understood. If it is your will, Savior, this maiden will dedicate her entire being to crush the enemy.”

Her knightly demeanor made me feel reassured, and I decided to deploy her on the quest.

However, when Partia was actually deployed on the battlefield…

Unlike Ignis and the others, I didn’t have a clear understanding of Partia’s exact abilities, so I couldn’t feel completely at ease.

Worried, I kept the video system running to monitor her situation in real-time.

And what appeared on the screen was…

-Snap snap

-Squelch!

-“Hmm, the ground here seems quite unstable.”

-Slurp… slurp.

-“And… the remains of the monsters are naturally causing interference.”

‘Oh.’

Amidst a backdrop reminiscent of an alien-slaughtering sci-fi horror game…

The nun, unfazed by the writhing tentacles trying to ensnare her, walked on as if on a holy pilgrimage.

It reminded me of a monk embarking on a crusade or a journey of penance, and I found it quite intriguing as I continued to watch.

First and foremost, I needed to understand her fighting style.

This way, I could figure out how to utilize Partia in future battles against other users or factions.

But my innocent thoughts were shattered about 5 minutes into watching the video…

After passing through a corridor ominously filled with blood vessels and chunks of flesh…

-“Enemy spotted!”

-“How did they get here already… but there’s only one! Prepare for engagement!”

-“Oh my.”

“Oh.”

In the maze-like interior of the plant, Partia stumbled upon 5 members of the Xenobia special forces who seemed to have lost their way.

-“To guide these lost lambs to the embrace of the great God, as per the Savior’s will… Ah, what a noble task indeed.”

-Crunch! Smash! Crunch!

From the chesty Partia, such grotesque sounds emerged.

Along with those sounds, her voluminous nun outfit suddenly puffed up…

And then, Partia, who was less than 160 cm tall, transformed into a hulking figure over 3 meters tall.

Her entire body was now packed with muscles…

With a demonic figure etched on her back, she looked like she had an overdose of testosterone.

And as I watched this, I realized why those damn gallery folks said to just level her up first.

I understood their reasoning all too well.
