Extra Case File 93 – Wild Flower Kotori’s
“A Day Out for Lovebirds”
” Ding dong~”
“It’s Kotori, come in, come in quickly.”
Welcomed warmly into the house by Ash, the fashionable girl took off her sunglasses and gently massaged her slightly sore nose. She looked uncertainly at the man in front of her, trying to place why the floral-patterned pajamas he was wearing felt familiar. Her expression swiftly turned from annoyance to disdain as she realized it all made sense.
Didn’t I remember correctly? That was always Senpai’s pajama, right?
Struck by a bolt of lightning from behind, memories of similar scenes flashed through Wild Flower Kotori’s mind. Instantly, memories linked together to form a complete “storyline.”
“Cough, cough…”
The girl tried to politely smile at the man who she likely had some past with but her twitching mouth produced only a few inaudible sounds.
Ash didn’t seem to notice and even poured her a glass of Barley Tea instead.
Not bad, Flower. Even if it doesn’t fit your usual image, it did turn out pretty well overall now, right?
‘[Could this be your true feelings?]
‘Who knows?’
“Ah, thank you.”
Caught off guard by Ash’s attentiveness, she held the hot tea he served, looking at his rather handsome face. Kotori couldn’t help but recall how in the past, when he was known as Time Fire, he had always been, no not quite—more uncivilized than the villains themselves.
There were quite a few online users who envied, hated, and despised that red warrior for bullying Pretty Cure and being so close to Miss Yell… enough twisted remakes circulating.
Comparing these severe “black records” to the present day him… as an outsider learning from the news and Senpai’s account, Kotori found it hard to believe these two figures had become one.
Indeed, changed so much. Such gentleness was probably difficult for him to achieve, possibly due to his sister. You really did accomplish something tough, my “heroic Senpai.”
But everything seemed to be going smoothly, how could it go wrong…
As thoughts of why she’d been called over by Ash swirled in her mind, a heavy sigh escaped from Kotori.
“I said there wasn’t any Final Monster. In the morning, Senpai was gone again.”
After finishing the scalding hot tea and quickly blowing on it to cool down, Kotori grabbed a nearby tissues to wipe her blushing cheeks, glaring at Ash who showed no sign of embarrassment.
Then you went ahead and called me over for something so trivial… Senpai, what a troublesome fool, really.
“Come on, Flower, no need to say that. Even if she’s a fool, she’s still your precious Senpai right?”
“That’s true…”
Watching Kotori’s complex mix of discomfort and happiness, Ash couldn’t help a chuckle too.
Is this what sibling love looks like? It’s truly great… compared to my side, the “brothers” of being an only child can’t match this. Nevermind, it’s not like today was supposed to be about gloominess.
“Do you have everything?”
“Since I’ve come here to help, don’t talk as if this is some kind of mysterious deal!”
While arguing verbally, she helplessly rummaged her bag, pulling out several pieces of clothing identical to what Wild Flower often wore.
“Sorry for the inconvenience of your clothes coming along.”
Seeing the items Ash finally relaxed a bit. After all, Flower had shown up first in her pajamas and underwear without washing up, and he didn’t have a single women’s outfit for her to wear.
It couldn’t be his shirts though, right? If they were in public that’d worry him; if at home then things would get… dangerous.
“You look pretty happy.” Kotori naturally engaged Ash in conversation, knowing she should build a good relationship with someone destined to be her future brother-in-law soon. “What happened, taking advantage of the fool as she is, dragging her sister to clear up the mess?”
“There’s no other choice.” Ash said casually while searching for suitable outfits and holding a navy and white underwear set, showing a slightly critical expression. “How could I resist tasting such a delicious elder sister?”
“Don’t speak of such indecent things in front of your sister-in-law!”
“Indecent? Where?”
True obscenity is what you only have seen through your senpai.
“Let me tell you!” Angry Kotori pressed down on the clothes about to be taken. “I’ve gone through college, so I understand passion. Even global headlines romantic experiences I comprehend, but!”
This isn’t to say we’ll keep things behind closed doors as a family, we’re not so conservative.
“But even if, even if you guys gained such fame! As the ones saving the world… Time Fire and Cure Yell! Doing such overly intimate things during daytime…”
Doing things like this during broad daylight, still needing her little sister’s help, is this really acceptable?!
Do you know what the others watching think?
If those drawing and writing “fanart,” “fanfiction” creators saw how private acts could surpass their creations… Oh, they might get even more excited, right.
“But the fact is, it wasn’t me bullying her.” Carrying out a cocoon-like flower-covered bundle of bedding, the still sleeping girl on Ash’s hands also snored comfortably. “She came to find me early in the morning, wanting me to bully her, yes.”
“… I didn’t know my clumsy and naive big sister was like that!”
“In general, aren’t country girls the easiest to fall for becoming such… anyway.”
With a gentle yet serious tone, she was awakened from sleep, and Ash began sorting clothes without any hesitation.
Your magazines and comics don’t follow these plots?
“If not, I will be responsible for helping Hana grow up.”
“No way!
