Chapter 8 About This Book
Welcome everyone to read my book. I have been meticulously preparing for this for a long time.
The time spent writing may not be long, but as a reader, I have been enjoying books for many years. I still remember when the early domain of Qidian was cmfu.
People’s preferences for books change constantly, and so do mine. After a day of exhausting work, if you ask me to read books with complex names and require me to ponder the deeper meanings behind the characters’ words, I would feel very tired.
Therefore, this book tries to be straightforward, avoiding overly complicated plots and schemes. In my opinion, the simpler the relationship between people, the better. You pay, I work. Don’t talk about ideals with me; my ideal is to stay at home and happily write every day without having to go to work.
I chose a young lady as the protagonist instead of a male character because I am somewhat tired of the numerous big male lead novels. So, I decided to use a silver-haired girl as the main character.
I also wrote about the farming genre because I greatly miss the sense of freedom I felt running around in nature back in my childhood in my old hometown.
Moreover, I truly love the contrast between a delicate and powerful girl standing under massive steel and war machines—the juxtaposition of fragility and strength, steel and long dresses, gunfire and singing—this stark contrast brings me a unique beauty.
I hope to present to everyone a world filled with the growth of characters, changes in historical trends, diverse cultural customs, and the splendor of ideological clashes.
Although the goal seems grand, I will not pour everything out all at once. Instead, I will weave these elements into small segments of the plot or even a few lines. This way, it won’t disrupt the overall reading experience while bringing more freshness. These details don’t need to be memorized, but their existence will make the world more realistic and enchanting.
If you enjoy it, please give more recommendations or monthly votes. It will motivate me greatly.
Truly, for a new writer, writing a book is like wandering in a dark wilderness. If there is no light, one can feel fear.
