Arthur grabbed Airael’s mischievous little hand with his big hand, flipped her over, and pinned her down.

Their bodies once again pressed tightly together with his movements.

Feeling the pressure coming from Arthur, Airael asked nervously, “What do you want to do?”

Her body could handle it, but time wouldn’t allow!

She estimated that it was almost dark outside.

She still needed to return home at night.

She had just told Arthur about this a moment ago.

“Ailia, I want to meet our child.”

Arthur spoke up.

“Sure, I’ll arrange it as soon as possible.”

“I still need to go back and keep Anna company. By the way, Anna is the name of our child; her full name is Ailiana.”

Hearing Airael mention that she was going back to be with the child, Arthur’s mood brightened significantly.

He sat up from the bed and embraced Airael tightly.

Airael leaned against him and said, “The Avalon Royal Palace isn’t far from here. If you miss me, just have someone find Celia, and once she informs me, I’ll arrange a time to visit you.”

“Mm!”

Arthur nodded.

Then he lowered his head to kiss Airael’s lips.

Airael’s body stiffened for a moment, then relaxed, responding to Arthur’s farewell kiss.

After the kiss ended, they pulled apart, both breathing a little heavily.

However, they both recognized that they couldn’t go crazy again after this.

Airael cleaned up both their bodies and the traces on the bed, then with a flick of her magic, she gathered the scattered clothes from the floor and placed them on the bed.

“Put your clothes on.”

She instructed Arthur, then began to dress herself.

Arthur, while getting dressed, appreciated Airael’s elegant movements.

Feeling Arthur’s gaze, Airael glanced at him and said, “If you keep looking, I won’t stick around. Being with you is exhausting, I’d rather be with my daughter.”

“Ailia, are you sure?”

Arthur retorted.

“Of course!”

Airael replied confidently after putting on her clothes.

Arthur smiled and said, “From what I know, little kids can be quite a handful at night. And you were clearly enjoying yourself just now, I could hear you, and it was loud! If it weren’t for your sound-proofing magic, I bet the people outside would have heard everything.”

“Well, it’s still more comfortable than being with you.”

Airael shot back, her face slightly flushed as she got off the bed to put on her shoes.

Seeing Airael being illogical, Arthur couldn’t help but give a wry smile.

What else could he say?

But he decided in his heart that the next time he pinned Ailia down, he would definitely ask her if she was comfortable.

He didn’t believe Airael could argue her way out of it if he caught her in the act.

Unbeknownst to Airael, Arthur was mentally planning how to persuade her next time.

After slipping on her shoes, she looked at Arthur and said, “I’m leaving now; you don’t need to see me off.”

With that, she walked straight toward the door.

Outside, Celia and the others were still waiting.

Karina wanted to peek inside, but with Celia and Aurora keeping watch, she didn’t have a chance.

Occasionally, travelers passed by the corridor, glancing over before quickly continuing on their way.

Suddenly, the door to the room swung open from the inside.

Airael emerged, wearing a cloak with the hood up.

“Let’s go.”

Airael said to Celia and Aurora.

“Yes!”

Celia and Aurora replied, departing with Airael as she closed the door behind her.

Watching Airael and the others leave, Karina thought for a moment, then knocked on the door.

“Please come in!”

Karina pushed the door open and walked inside.

She saw Arthur standing at the window, seemingly looking at something.

“Master, is there something you need?”

Arthur didn’t turn around but asked from his position.

“Sir, dinner will be served soon. What would you like to eat tonight?”

“Just buy something you see fit.”

Arthur replied.

“Yes!”

Karina bowed and exited to prepare dinner.

At this moment, Arthur, watching outside, was smiling.

Following his gaze, he could see three hooded figures leaving the inn.

Those three mysterious figures were, of course, Airael and her companions.

Just then, Airael, walking in front, seemed to sense something and turned back, coincidentally locking eyes with Arthur upstairs.

The two exchanged glances for a moment before parting, Airael no longer looking back as she continued forward.

By the time Airael returned to the Avalon Royal Palace, the sky had already begun to darken.

After eating the dinner that had been prepared, Airael began to feed Anna.

Watching the little girl suckling, Airael couldn’t help but feel grateful her milk supply was adequate.

Otherwise, after all those wasted moments with Arthur earlier, Anna might not eat enough tonight.

As Anna grew older, the amount she nursed increased as well.

That night, after lulling Anna to sleep, Airael lay down beside her.

She looked at her daughter’s cute face and thought of Arthur’s figure.

Since she had decided to let her daughter meet Arthur, she certainly wouldn’t backtrack now.
