Although she wanted to keep a low profile, after the performance she just gave, it seemed she wouldn’t be able to do that for a while.

After responding to the captain, Airael turned her gaze forward and asked, “According to our schedule, we should reach Bruth today, right?”

“That’s right! If those damned pirates don’t delay us, we should arrive this morning, but thankfully their interference wasn’t too long—we’ll definitely reach Bruth this afternoon.”

Airael nodded.

Bruth was the first stop on her continental adventure, being the largest and most prosperous city in the northwest of the continent, part of Nick Kingdom, and the capital of Nick Kingdom.

“Noble Ailia, may I ask what you intend to have for breakfast today?”

A voice chimed in from the ship.

“Just something casual will do.”

Airael replied nonchalantly.

Even though the captain and crew prepared the best food they could, for someone used to delicacies like Airael, all the stored provisions tasted pretty much the same.

Only the well-preserved fruits could bring her a bit of culinary joy.

Although Airael said this, the captain dared not take it lightly.

The best food on the ship was prepared for Airael.

She accepted it with complete ease and comfort.

After finishing breakfast in her room, Airael didn’t come out again.

As they were about to reach the first stop of her continental journey, she planned to rethink her upcoming path.

Meanwhile, in the Life Temple’s office of Linis, the Grand Priestess, Linis went about her usual work after finishing breakfast.

This daily routine had been a part of her life for countless days and nights, and she was used to it by now.

However, today, before she could finish reading a document, a visitor entered her office.

Domiya walked straight into Linis’s office and sat down.

“You’re still the same.”

Linis sighed at the sight.

Domiya didn’t comment but directly asked her question: “Linis, did you really let Your Majesty go out on her own for training?”

Linis nodded, “You should have known this already. I remember you telling me that Your Majesty could not always live under my protection; she needs to forge her own path.”

Feeling a bit awkward, Domiya thought of Airael’s destination and continued, “But do you know where she’s going?”

“I know. To the continent.”

Seeing Linis’s indifference, Domiya grew a bit anxious. “That’s the land of humans!”

“Your Majesty is well prepared; there’s no need to worry too much.”

Looking at the very anxious Linis, she added, “Moreover, Celia and Aurora are also out for training; they’re both about to ascend to Tier 10.”

With that, Linis returned to her document.

Domiya smiled.

She understood the deeper meaning behind Linis’s words.

However, Domiya hadn’t come just to discuss Airael.

She looked at Linis and asked, “Linis, don’t you want to know what I’ve been up to for the hundred years since I left Your Majesty?”

After Airael reached a bottleneck in her magical abilities and switched to martial arts training, Domiya had left to pursue her own magical research.

“What have you been up to?” Linis appeared only mildly interested, continuing to read her documents.

Domiya replied with a grin, “I’ve had quite the gains in this hundred years!”

Now, Linis showed some interest, her gaze shifting from the document to Domiya, asking, “What gains?”

Anything that could make Domiya, the archmage, excited was definitely not a trivial matter.

“Follow me, and you’ll see when we get there.”

With that, Domiya stood up and walked away.

Linis hesitated briefly before following her out of the office.

Under Domiya’s lead, the two arrived at a Magic Research Institute.

“Domiya, what’s this?”

Domiya walked straight up to a large cannon and patted its barrel.

“What’s this?”

Linis gazed curiously at the oddly shaped object before her.

“This is the Magic Energy Cannon! You could say it was inspired by Your Majesty.”

Hearing that it was related to Airael shocked Linis a bit.

However, she was more concerned about the strange thing in front of her. “Magic Energy Cannon? What can it do?”

“Of course, it can unleash magic!”

Linis replied, “Unleash magic?”

“Yes! It’s an incredibly powerful magical device.”

“Then show me how it works.”

Linis was a bit excited.

Seeing her expression, Domiya wore a proud smile.

She took out a blue magic crystal the size of an egg and placed it in a groove at the back of the cannon.

Then, Domiya pressed a red button near the groove.

With one press, the Magic Energy Cannon fully awakened, surrounded by a surge of magical energy.

The blue magic crystal in the groove was instantly absorbed by the cannon.

Then, a blue magic circle appeared at the cannon’s mouth.

The surrounding magical elements were rapidly drawn in, forming a magic ball the same size as the cannon’s mouth.
