Chapter 630: Epilogue One
In a world without Lolan Hill,
On the Tisilam Mountains, the annual Harvest Festival arrived.
The city inhabited by the rabbit-eared people was adorned with lanterns and decorations. After working hard for most of the year and harvesting abundant food and grains, everyone welcomed a period of rest, and the festival celebrations were approaching.
Although most were local rabbit-eared people and a few humans, there were also many tourists from foreign lands, all coming together to enjoy and celebrate this easiest time of the year.
Wandering through the winding streets in the mountains felt like entering a fairy tale world. Every turn around a corner or over a hill revealed new sights and colors.
Small and large mushroom houses decorated the corners of the city, their roofs in various colors—orange-yellow, light green, deep blue, and pink—giving a fresh and intriguing feeling.
Along the roadside shops, one could often see fresh fruits for sale. The translucent skin and plump flesh always enticed people to buy more to try them out.
Passing through the shaded houses and green stone steps, a shop with a glass showcase came into view. Behind the clear glass, several delicate dolls sat on cushions, attracting passing tourists who would stop to watch and eventually decide to enter the shop.
The shop’s attendants were rabbit-eared girls dressed in black-and-white maid outfits, carrying pastries, cakes, and cookies between the tables. Occasionally, one could hear guests asking about ice cream flavors.
Ding-dong—
As a guest pushed open the door, a mechanism above triggered a hanging wind chime, producing a clear and pleasant sound, like the clear stream of summer water, refreshing everyone.
“Welcome! Please come in.” A girl with soft blue rabbit ears slightly bowed and welcomed this special guest.
The guest was also a girl, with a breathtaking appearance, her long red-pink wavy hair cascading down her pale collar and arms. Her fully matured beauty was stunning. Even though she was a girl herself, she was slightly surprised for a moment before reacting.
“What would you like?” asked a maid, slightly taller than the others, seemingly the leader, after the beautiful-faced girl with shoulder-length hair placed her small bag and sat down.
“I’ll look around.” The beautiful-faced girl, around 18-20 years old, pressed her finger against her chin, pondering slightly.
“Do you have a green tangerine chiffon cake? I’d like one, and a cup of red raspberry juice.”
“Sure, please wait a moment,” the maid noted and then left temporarily.
Afterward, the young woman with light red hair examined her surroundings while seated.
As she entered, her eyes occasionally flickered with admiration and fondness at the decorations, clearly someone who truly understood and appreciated the place.
When the maid brought out the pastries, she did not rush to eat them but savored each bite slowly, occasionally glancing at the pocket watch she had taken out, checking the time as if waiting for someone.
Finally, just as she was about to finish her cake, a hurried figure rushed into the store.
Ding-dong—
“Welcome, Lady Aliya?” The rabbit-eared maid at the door recognized the familiar figure, indeed it was Aliya with black rabbit ears.
“Sorry, sorry, Winda, I almost arrived late.” After a brief greeting to the shopkeeper, this rabbit-eared girl quickly walked over.
“It’s fine, actually, there was no need to wait specifically for Aliya. Everything here is delicious,” Winda smiled slightly, looking at this familiar friend.
“Of course, this is a shop I used to frequent often, many of the staff are my juniors and younger sisters.” Aliya’s ears swayed slightly, showing a happy expression.
Afterwards, the two resumed their idle chat, recounting recent events.
“Aliya, after graduation, you’ve stayed around here?” Winda curiously looked at this rabbit-eared girl.
“Yes, indeed. After all, my hometown still needs the support of me, this ‘talented student.’ To be honest, I am a direct disciple of the Sage. Hehe.”
“So the person you’ve always been reluctant to mention is Princess Lolan Hill?”
“Yes, indeed. The Princess taught me when I was quite young. In fact, I was one of the first students she taught.”
“Oh, then isn’t Princess Lolan Hill rather…”
Before the girl could finish, her friend smiled and said,
“Well, let’s not talk about that. Actually, this city is also where Princess Lolan Hill first appeared before the public. Many buildings from those days still remain. I can show you around; it won’t be a wasted trip.”
Aliya introduced this unique city nestled among the mountains, recounting its origins.
“Pity that since the miracle that year, Princess Lolan Hill has never appeared again. Although some have bad guesses, we still believe that one day, Princess Lolan Hill will return, reappearing in Clancia, just as she did back then, continuing to guide our future,” Aliya said.
The two discussed for a while about the great Sage, Starlight Witch, world savior, and the last Archangel, Lolan Hill, before finally turning to discuss future matters.
“Sigh, so Aliya plans to join the Church?” Winda was slightly surprised after hearing this.
“Yes, nowadays…
I have graduated. Since I’m still pursuing the Angel Sequence, there will be greater room for development in the church. Haha, these aren’t the main points though.” Aliya smiled.
“The real reason is that the relationship between the Holy Land and Clancia has been deepening recently. As a representative of Clancia, I will be stationed in the church. Perhaps in a few years, you’ll meet the High Priest, one of the twelve Palaces’ Scepter Priests, and witness the birth of Aliya.”
When the world’s Extraordinary Beings restarted their cultivation and exploration, the Angel Sequence’s strong resistance to chaos allowed them to thrive in the new environment. Unlike before, when the number of cultivators was low, the Angel Sequence began to flourish. Aliya herself was a genius; her strength ranked among the top in Clancia. She was one of the rare individuals at the Angel Sequence 6 level (the highest sequence level in the entire continent currently is Sequence 7).
Moreover, she was a student personally taught by Lolan Hill, the representative of the young generation of the rabbit-eared tribe. Naturally, everyone looked forward to her and arranged for her to enter the church for studies and service.
“In that case, I will have to rely on Aliya more in the future, hehe.” Feng Nai smiled, not thinking that Aliya was exaggerating but truly realizing how different the world had become.
Unlike the past, after several years since the appearance of divine miracles, the top-tier Extraordinary Beings in today’s world were mostly young people around 20 years old.
After everything returned to the starting line, these energetic, daring, and adaptable young people quickly surpassed their predecessors. In the new environment, they explored paths unique to themselves.
Gradually, they became leaders in various fields, beginning to make their own voices heard in the world and becoming objects of admiration and pursuit for the masses.
Every Extraordinary Being who ascended to a higher rank proved the success and reliability of this path. Even if they were very young, perhaps not over 30, they were now the pillars of the Extraordinary Realm, leading the era and trends as ‘masters.’
In this new world where everyone was exploring and flourishing, several rising stars emerged ahead of everyone else. They were:
“The Pure Iron Star,” the Legion Commander, Darsi,
“The Black Flame Dragon,” the girl who transformed into a dragon, Xing Liu,
“The Red-Clothed Executioner,” the sword-wielding Royal Guard, Derosa,
“The Flame Dancer,” the Fire Priest, Nia,
“The Moon Piercing the Forest,” the Elven Princess, Atya,
“The Blood Forked Halberd of Breaking Waves,” the Pirate King, Infik,
“The Gray Saintess,” the blind nun, Ausuna.
These seven were the most renowned Extraordinary Beings in the West Continent, all above Sequence 7, and the objects of worship and pursuit for countless youths. Many of them were graduates of Emanas, indirectly showing the educational achievements accumulated over a thousand years.
