“I realized something was wrong after I bought 150 more, but there was nothing I could do about it.”
“Since I’ve already crossed the point of no return.”
“Can’t you just give up?”
“Nyaaah! I’ve already spent 300 million, how can I give up now! If I can’t hit 121, it’s all worthless!”
The entry requirement for the floating island Aether is level 121 or higher.
Right now, I’m the only one who can enter, and after 10 days, other level 121 users will also be able to join.
Yena chuckled, reminiscing about that day.
“When I spent around 300 million, I started getting stubborn. I thought, what the hell, and bought 100 more at once since it wasn’t working after 150 tries.”
“Did you just get duds?”
“No! If that were the case, would I have spent 500 million more, meow!!”
Waaah!!
[LOL]
[Yena’s really excited]
[Calm down, Yena;;]
“See! Every time I try to quit, it throws me one! The 99th and 100th ones came up back-to-back. Nyaa!”
Yena, who had originally decided to stop after 100, was again tempted after unexpectedly getting experience points twice in a row at the last moment.
“Hehe… I’m such a fool…”
After that, she bought 500 more, but no experience points showed up.
“Hmm… It sure is blatant. Of all times, it had to be at the end, coming up back-to-back…”
“Right? I was cheated! Honestly, I feel like I want to protest in front of the Nutri headquarters alone, but they won’t let me interfere with in-game matters. Ugh.”
“…Kiki!”
—Kiki?
Kiki, who seemed a bit strange as she fiddled with her slot machine body, looked up at me.
“I’m going to spin it now. Like I said earlier, please lower the luck a bit more.”
—Kiki? Kiki.
Tiiing!
Drrriiiing!!
With the last coin, the lever spun, and this time it showed AA, but it was a low-flying buff called ‘Self-Float.’
Duration: 10 days.
At this point, I roughly understand the nature of the coins.
‘Restrict Kiki’s luck.’
To restrict luck, I must have a stronger power than Kiki, who has a pretty high level of power.
Like ‘Loreliess,’ who granted absolute power to the Light of Transcendence.
“Where is this altar located?”

[Lily’s first New Continent clear]
Author: Scribbler
(A GIF of Lily talking to a Celestial Being)
Lily reached 121 and opened the New Continent for the first time.
This time, the New Continent has finally opened up.
It’s a place called Aether, but it feels like a completely different dimension.
It seems like it’s a place where parts of several dimensions are fused together, and to go to the real dimension, a Holy Seal is needed.
Lily got her Holy Seal through the fourth stage, but since others haven’t been able to get one even after the fourth stage, it seems to be a job characteristic of Lily?
(Or it could just be that they couldn’t hit 121 so she didn’t get it.)
Anyway, there are a total of five dimensions.
Ertarn (Lily cleared Episode 1, Celestial Being is massive)
Main Temple (Martial Arts? A bit of a mystical vibe?)
Teshiniria (Related to Lily’s job, looks like there’s combat involved but I don’t know everything)
Erbenus Blodia (The episode title or the general talk gives off a vampire vibe)
Golden Sky (Where the administrator raccoons are)
So that’s how it is. It seems each region has its own episode world quest and it feels like you clear one at a time.
Currently, Lily has cleared Episode 1 in Ertarn, and since it’s in a deactivated state, I guess additional episodes will open later.
Additional) It doesn’t seem like only Lily can get the Holy Seal. While clearing Lily’s quest, I was hanging out with a girl named Jeokhye from the Main Temple and got help from her, but I wasn’t able to get the Main Temple’s Holy Seal. It seems there are separate conditions to obtain it.

—Ah, I want to go quickly. It looks like the rewards are crazy good.
—Lily’s first clear is really cool.
└Boy, Lily
└Lily fighting the gods was epic, though; everyone kept talking about the fourth stage, but damn, she was really strong.
└For real, haha
└Queen Lily
—Why is it that only Lily got the Holy Seal? Isn’t it unfair that she soloed the Kraken? Is the dev’s daughter or something?
└That’s legit; I know someone who did the fourth stage hidden, and they didn’t even see the Holy Seal.
└? That’s nonsense, no way.
└LOL Suddenly Lily haters are pouring in.
└Looks like the Sword Saint fan cafe is in an internal dispute and has exploded, it’s so obvious, haha.
└For real, haha.
└Hit 121 and then talk. And isn’t it forgotten that Lily nearly suffered for about a month trying to seal it alone?
└Didn’t she end up soloing it?
└Fact) Lily actually worked hard to gather the people needed for the final eye seal and succeeded, but the Sword Saint broke that seal.
└Fact 2) If only the seal hadn’t been broken, Lily wouldn’t have had to overdo it, and the Kraken was actually on the verge of dying just from the Alliance’s strength.
└Fact 3) Sword Saint is trash.
└Hahahahahaha
└Fact) All of them.
└Facts are pounding down, haha.
—I think if you hit 121, the other fourth stages might drop too.
└I agree.
└That’s right; if only Lily was going to get it, they would have given it to everyone else too, why not?
—Our Yena-darling, take care of her too…
└Spent 900 million on Dan-to, though…
└Yena-darling has to suffer a bit. She’s going crazy, haha.
The next day, a somewhat calmer Yena came to find me at Elbrite.
Yesterday was almost insane—no, it was outright crazy! But now she’s at a more “reasonable” level of madness.
“Phew. Hoo hoo hoo…”
“Are you okay?”
“Of course! I’m perfectly fine~”
Heehee.
“……”
“I wanted to make a name for myself in the New Continent as part of the advance party, but hey, that’s life, right? Just because a has-been pops up, it doesn’t mean the title of ‘has-been’ disappears.”
“What’s wrong with being a has-been? It’s not a bad title at all.”
In the end, doesn’t everyone have their own ‘prime’ that anyone would acknowledge?
There was a crisis, but compared to the top position I once held in third place, I’ve now surpassed that and earned the second place.
It’s a level ranking, but users as strong as Yena are extremely rare.
Yena repeated the word ‘has-been’ several times and finally nodded.
“Well, I suppose I’m not really a has-been anymore.”
“Exactly. At Yena’s level now, you’d probably rank within the top 5 purely by brute strength, right? Maybe even higher?”
“Of course, I’m definitely right after Lady Lily. I even beat Lord Heavenly Horse last time, so maybe I can actually win against everyone now?”
“Even Lord Leo?”
“……Hmm. Maybe…?”
Yena had grown stronger.
Unlike when she was hovering around ranks 20-30, she had become a Cat Beastman, received teachings from Myeosin, obtained a hidden job, and even had a mythical weapon.
Moreover, she was performing tasks related to the Pharaoh, gaining his power, so considering the fall of the Sword Saint, she could arguably be the strongest among users now.
But there was still Lord Leo, the former rank 2, who was known as one of the most extraordinary beings alongside the Sword Saint.
She wasn’t just sitting idly either.
“Recently, he signed a formal contract with the Wind Spirit King. Back in the day, there was never anyone who made a contract with two or more Spirit Kings.”
Lord Leo signed with the Wind Spirit King and the newly redeemed Water Spirit King, Naiad, whom I saved, and thus he was a Nymph Spirit Master wielding all five attributes.
Nymphs are a race where the synergy with Spirits is maximized.
She was famous for adorning countless mythical items instead of regular jobs.
Rumors circulating lately said she had declared independence from the Empire, establishing a kingdom called ‘Arna,’ and had acquired several new hidden pieces as well.
Her influence might not match, but the size of her domain would be much larger than Elbrite.
“…Could I really win? If I just use Master’s techniques and Roars or something.”
“I used to think that way back in the day.”
“…?”
“Excluding light and darkness, there are six Spirit Kings in total. What would happen if I made contracts with all six of them and activated ‘Spirit Ascension’ with all of them?”
Spirit Ascension, where spirit, body, and soul become one.
The spirit ascension of the spirits is about to happen.
It’s an incredibly difficult challenge, but if they merge, they can unleash the full power of the spirits—or even more.
And what if that tremendous power belongs to the Spirit King?
What if there isn’t just one Spirit King, but several?
I can only imagine the insane synergy that would produce!
It was quite an intriguing topic at the time, but there has yet to be a contract holder with more than one Spirit King.
Being holy myself, any contract with a spirit would be meaningless.
But then, such a being appeared.
“Leo.”
A person who holds two Spirit Kings within one body.
“……”
“I’m excited. If both wind and water can be ‘spirit ascended’…”
“…Isn’t that going to be extremely difficult?”
“Of course. We’re talking about containing a ‘Spirit King’ inside. The original contractor, the Spirit Lord, would also find it tough, I bet.”
Normally, average spirit users struggle just to contain an Intermediate Spirit.
For a human contractor to become one with an ethereal spirit means their perception of the world will entirely change.
The higher the rank, the greater the gap in their understanding of the world. Especially, the Spirit King dwells in a realm unreachable by other spirits.
“Becoming one with a Spirit King means accepting a completely different world. Usually, it’s just about borrowing power.”
“Well, then spirit ascension might be pretty tough.”
“But with Lord Leo, it’s a different story.”
Leo, the most talented among users.
With the Sword Saint now collapsed, Leo’s talent can be called the greatest, and she has already contained multiple attributes simultaneously.
And with the protection of the system, she might just pull off containing a Spirit King with relative ease.
“Controlling one is almost guaranteed, but whether she can contain two is uncertain. If their worlds collide, there’s bound to be a problem.”
“…Hmm.”
“Or maybe not? Since the Spirit Kings have a favorable view of Leo, they might reach an agreement. Even if they aren’t fond of the Naiad, as long as the existing Spirit King of Water has returned, the problem is…”
“By the way, why are we talking about spirits? Leo was brought up, but it feels like I’m being lectured on something.”
“Well, obviously.”
This growth altar ‘raid’ is—
“We’re going with Lord Leo. I need to inform you about the new team members.”
“Meow?”
