Episode 532. Who’s Suffering More?
Anyway, as soon as the second stage ended like that, I naturally returned to the base. After giving orders to repair our heavily damaged fleet, I immediately opened the gallery to check out other users’ reactions.
And as soon as I opened the gallery, the reactions were, of course, exactly what you’d expect.
—
[“WTF, how are ships teleporting straight to where the carriers and annihilation ships are?”] (1,228,162 likes)
[“Release ships that can teleport fleets for users too, you bastards!”] (1,094,516 likes)
—
“Hey, you too?”
No one expected the “ship teleportation ambush,” so the reactions were naturally explosive. With over a million comments, it was impossible not to get drawn in. Like everyone else, I clicked on the post to check it out.
But the problem was, did the OP set their password to something like “1234”?
Right after clicking:

**Title:** WTF, how are ships teleporting straight to where the carriers and annihilation ships are?

You guys should see this too.
Next time, if you’re gonna use a temp account, set a proper password.
No need to thank me, just look and move on.
**Comments:**
– [F*ck]
– [WTF]
– [What the hell is this idiot doing?]
– [OP, hurry up and edit the post]
– [This idiot changed the password, so I can’t edit it] (OP)
– [Useless bastard]

“AAAAAH!”
Some troll bastard had polluted the post with disgusting images, and me and other users were hit with unexpected graphic spam. Not just that, but most of the reaction posts by temp accounts were also hacked(?) into graphic spam.
In the middle of the event, we ended up beheading a bunch of trolls and hanging their heads in the gallery marketplace.

**Title:** Real-time list of users who got banned lol
**Author:** Anonymous
**Content:** [Screenshots of ‘ban results’ posted by user moderators.jpg]
Already 5,000 banned.
First time seeing so many bans in less than 5 minutes.
**Comments:**
– [That’s a lot]
– [About 4,500 of them got their heads smashed for messing around]
– [What gets your head smashed?]
– [They’re cracking concept post passwords to edit them, but they’re getting wrecked for trolling]
– [We call that natural selection]
– [Ultimate – Chaos Xenocide]

Because of that, pissed-off user moderators like me, and even the admins who seemed fed up with the trolls spamming graphic content, joined in. According to the post, in less than 5 minutes, the trolls’ spam rampage was completely shut down.
—
Anyway, with the trolls dealt with like that…

**Title:** “The first stage ended quickly, so why is the second stage taking so long?”
**Author:** Anonymous
**Content:** [A screenshot of the battle still in progress.jpg]
We’re still fighting, you idiots.
Why are you guys already done? WTF.
**Comments:**
– [Weaklings ♡ Slow ♡]
– [If you just take out the flagship quickly, the rest should be easy, what’s the problem?]
– [[Map terrain filled with asteroids and debris.jpg]] (OP)
– [That’s why] (OP)
– [Oh, that makes sense]

As these posts show, it seemed like there was still a loooong way to go before the second stage was cleared. So, sticking to the original plan, I decided to properly check out the other users’ reactions.
And thanks to the damn trolls, the impression of the “ship teleportation ambush” from the second stage had deeply stuck with the users.
The posts that were just going “wow wow” were already surpassing 10,000 and heading towards 20,000 to 30,000.
Of course, what I wanted to see wasn’t those reaction posts but proper analysis posts, so the story was a bit different…
The ratio of crappy posts to nutritious posts tends to be similar no matter where you go in the world, so having 200-300 nutritious posts among 20,000-30,000 crappy ones is just a pure and solid truth.

Title: Figured Out the Ancient Empire Concept
Author: ㅇㅇ
Content: [An image split in half, one side showing small ships teleporting to raid user fleets, and the other side showing a Dreadnought shooting down hundreds of incoming aircraft.jpg]
These Sanki users or other factions have a completely different concept.
First off, the performance of small ships is just as we predicted in the gallery—almost no anti-air capability, and the rest of the performance is just meh.
Especially since their power source is old, most ships, except for flagship-class, are pretty bad in terms of mobility.
Beam-type weapons also generally have lackluster firepower.
On the other hand, projectile weapons are fine.
And most importantly, while anti-air capabilities are trash up to cruiser-class, super-large ships suddenly have exponentially better anti-air capabilities.
To be precise, they cut their own firepower and instead increased anti-air capabilities and mobility.
What’s even more annoying is that those bastards can execute teleportation attacks with their ships, something we saw through the Rafflesia-Class and Kraken.
Of course, based on what I’ve experienced and cross-verified with other users’ screenshots, the limit seems to be light cruiser-class.
And even then, like the teleporting ships we’ve seen so far, they can only use it once a day.
But it’s not like they’re sending a few dozen ships; a single super-large ship can send almost thousands of small ships.
From the receiving end, it’s just plain annoying.
Comments:
-[For real, damn]
-[Just like before, send tanking fleets to the front and place firepower or artillery ships in the back, and you’ll get screwed]
-[My carriers with decks got teleported right in front of charging ships, and the decks just exploded lololol]
-[The devs really sharpened their knives this time]
-[Are they trying to inject some tension into the relaxed users?]
-[Yes~]

Seeing such confident and, at the same time, nutritious posts, I nodded in agreement and showed my approval.
And unlike analysis posts about enemy fleets, there were also posts analyzing the damage situation of users after two phases.

Title: This event is kinda weird, the ones who got hurt are the complete opposite of Phase 1
Author: ㅇㅇ
Content: [Before & After images of users whining in the gallery.jpg]
If in Phase 1, solo players living alone got screwed over, this time it’s the opposite—users docked at bases got hit harder.
Oh, of course, it’s not as dramatically different as Phase 1, but still.
It’s not that user fleets got wiped, but mercenary groups and faction dispatch teams got hit way more than in Phase 1.
Comments:
-[Hmm, interesting]
-[Why did that happen?]
-[Because in Phase 1, solo players got wiped so hard that fleet recovery was slow, so…]
-[Most of the forces wiped now are mercenary groups and faction dispatch teams, so as long as you have resources, recovery is quick]
-[But in Phase 1, users’ main forces got wiped a lot, so recovery took a long time]
-[Is that so?](Author)
-[It just looks like base users got hit harder in Phase 2, but in terms of damage ratio, Phase 1 still got screwed more]
-[What are you talking about? The main forces in the rear got hit hard, so in terms of resources and repair time, Phase 2 users are at a bigger loss]

Posts like that immediately got rebuttals, and those rebuttals got rebuttals, and so on.
Watching such healthy and bright debates, I decided to leisurely keep an eye on the gallery while my ships were being repaired.
