Witch Lina
As the distance between Ayushio grew ever wider, the usually enthusiastic knight towards both enemies and allies also gradually became silent.
Facing the Red Demon’s relentless attacks, even if he wasn’t directly hit, the sheer force from each swing of the Demon’s club left him at a loss for what to do.
“[Launcher (Launcher) On]!”
The astronomical switch activated, and the blue quintuple missile launcher assembled on his right leg was immediately fired. The explosion from the missiles hitting the ground sent shockwaves that engulfed the giant shadow of the Red Demon. However, as smoke cleared, they revealed the Red Demon wielding its club, leaving only a few burn marks on his body.
“Ah, you actually dared to explode at me!” The silent knight was struck hard by the club, unable to rise back up due to a strength rivaling that of the star apostle. “It’s true, the previous explosions were also your doing, I’m almost bald now because of you!”
Fundamentally, Fourze’s transformation suit was merely a spacesuit, which put him at quite a disparity in hard power (data) compared to the officer.
Noticing this, the Red Demon proudly slung his club over his shoulder, feeling assured of victory.
The Joker had been overly cautious. He had planned some kind of trap involving three officers, but all I needed was one to take him down!
“Hmph, I wonder how Wolfrun got scared like that. The Kamen Rider isn’t as tough as they say!”
In response to the Red Demon’s taunts, even without speaking, the indomitable will to fight refused to be crushed and was evident in the knight’s resolute stance after rising silently.
“Red Demon, you’ve misunderstood!”
Just then, a tall woman standing behind the Red Demon spoke with an authoritative voice. “This person is not the Kamen Rider the Joker spoke of—Joker said he was purple, but this one is white!”
“What? Are there two Kamen Riders?”
“Fine, go play with him!” With deep resentment, the woman flew off in another direction, not turning her head back.
Seeing that the woman was headed towards where Ayushio was, Fourze hurriedly tried to intercept her, but the Red Demon’s club blocked his way.
“What? Trying to escape?”
Facing the giant, seemingly living evil ogre from the story of Momotaro, the silent knight unlocked a large square switch with an alarm sounding, and inserted it into his belt.
“[Cosmic (Cosmic) On]!”
Yayoi Huang濑 struggled anxiously in Ayushio’s arms. Not solely because she was pressed against him, but more so because she was worried about the White Knight disappearing from sight.
“You can’t! The Red Demon is very powerful!”
Seeing the Red Demon distracted by Fourze, Yayoi hurriedly warned Ayushio.
“Fourze is alone, this is too dangerous. If Ayushio-san is also a knight, shouldn’t you help him?!”
She had real combat experience with the opponent, knowing that the Red Demon could crush mountains with one blow. Reflecting on the data in the spaceship magazine which indicated Fourze was under 10 tons… Yayoi expressed her concern for this knight.
“Believe in him, he is a Kamen Rider.” Ayushio shook his head; it would indeed be best to work together as usual in normal scenarios, but this time the knight was summoned, so drawing the enemy away would be ideal.
“More importantly, now it’s about you.”
Currently, you have no powers. I’m truly afraid that Miyuki might get angry if I just abandon you somewhere.
“Me?”
Yayoi emitted a soft, stunned sound, gazing at Ayushio’s cold yet compassionate profile in the wind.
Do I hold that much significance to you?
“You once said the Kamen Rider protects their partners.”
“I may not be a hero, but I can strive to be a Kamen Rider.”
At any rate, being friends certainly isn’t a problem.
As dusk replaced setting sun, the darkness of night devoid of moonlight enveloped them. Strong arms embraced a soft girl, with the wind creating a whistling sound.
“R-really?”
At Yayoi’s uncertain question, Ayushio curled the corner of his lips, “Seriously, if you still don’t believe me, well… That’s fine.”
Hearing this acknowledgment from Ayushio, Yayoi felt a weight lifted off her heart, a barrier in her mind dissipating, allowing her to feel simple relief.
Father, the heroic “Kamen Rider” genuinely exists, I encountered two today.
Initially, I didn’t understand your actions, you always seemed like just an impulsive troublemaker. Now, I realize I was overthinking. Mr. Ayushio, you really are an extremely “villainous” villain, truly appealing to children.
“Okay, I believe you, thank you.”
The voice that once lacked strength now carried a different meaning. A composed smile replaced the bashful flush from close contact.
Seeing Yayoi’s happy expression, Ayushio realized she had misinterpreted something, but to avoid further complications, he refrained from explaining.
Really, having expectations for someone casually… It troubles me too.
Ayushio set Yayoi down on the platform and prepared to carry her down with a ladder. Suddenly, an eerie instinct made his hand slide out the “Evil Dragon” from his sleeve, combining with the Dark Sword Tsukuyomi.
“Henshin!”
Bending down, with his broad, strong body protecting the startled Yayoi, Ayushio used the invincibility during the transformation sequence. Giant ride pages unfolded behind him, blocking the dark magical projectile, while the scattered pages deflected the light and shattered a nearby warehouse below the platform.
“That person is—”
Sitting in Wangjian’s lap, Yayoi looked up with wide eyes at the enchanting, tall woman approaching from above, momentarily failing to connect her to any known enemy.
But this deep green robe… Could she be the witch? Yet, witches are supposed to be old crones, so why does she look like a busty female officer?
“You are the Kamen Rider who has been obstructing our Tragedy Kingdom?” Her voice, sharp and cool, exuding an aura of a villainous female officer, filled the air.
“So what?”
Under Wangjian’s armor, Ayushio gripped the holy sword, squinting at the tall woman.
“If so…”
As Yayoi pondered what magic the enemy might use, the woman suddenly vanished and reappeared, kicking Ayushio from the side.
“Witch Lina will make you pay for your words and actions!”
