While such thoughts crossed my mind, Professor Han continued to soar through the air, repeatedly rolling along the ground.
Song Do-yoon slowly approached Han Min-ha, who had fallen and was struggling to rise.
The closer Song Do-yoon got, the further Han Min-ha was flung backward, as if caught by an invisible giant foot.
“Is this some kind of joke? A freshman using aerodynamics…?”
Professor Jin muttered while gripping her pen.
“At this level, they’re top-tier.”
Professor Hyun Ju also observed Han Min-ha being thrown with a serious expression.
Aerodynamics, as the name implies, is the ability to freely manipulate air currents. From generating a gentle breeze to causing a typhoon—though creating a typhoon remains theoretically possible, no hero has yet achieved it.
So, Song Do-yoon’s ability isn’t telekinesis but aerodynamics?
Right. That explains why birds were thrown toward the window.
A very cunning move.
For a freshman to demonstrate this kind of creativity—he’s definitely in the upper class.
The problem is that while aerodynamics does use aura, it doesn’t directly damage Han Min-ha with aura but instead with the air itself. Air is a natural phenomenon, while aura reacts strongly when it clashes with another aura. Thus, hitting Han Min-ha indirectly with a strong gust like this renders Min-ha’s heavy aura less effective.
If one masters the use of aura, even natural phenomena would be rendered powerless, but Min-ha hasn’t reached that level yet.
Initially, I assumed Min-ha would have an advantage in an aura vs. aura battle, but now that possibility seems rather unlikely.
“Using aerodynamics like that makes it tough.”
“You’re right. That lower-class kid—his plan to accumulate aura and increase his weight is completely wasted now.”
The headhunters in the rear offered a rather pessimistic analysis.
But I don’t think so.
A Sikrito fights dirty.
They mercilessly crush weaker opponents and pretend to retreat from stronger ones while stabbing them in the side.
They fulfill their mission regardless of means and accept the consequences of any illegality or unethical acts.
And Han Min-ha received special training from none other than me—a Sikrito.
Han Min-ha will likely succeed.
If only they can understand my intent.
“Professor… Min-ha… Is he alright? He keeps getting hit…”
Professor Jin asked worriedly.
“Maybe. He wouldn’t challenge someone from the upper class without preparation.”
With that, I raised my hand, showing the side of my hand.
As Min-ha’s eyes met mine with a plea for help, I subtly twisted my hand sideways.
This should be clear enough.
After staring intently at my hand, Min-ha stood up, readying themselves.
Min-ha, you can do this. Show everyone your true potential.
* * * * *
After seeing Professor Hyun’s gesture, Min-Ha wondered what it was supposed to mean.
Thinking they might have misread it, they wiped the goggles, but they still didn’t understand.
But there wasn’t time to dwell on it.
Song Do-yoon appeared right in front and activated his powers with a cruel smile.
Min-ha was hit directly by an invisible, powerful gust and rolled backward.
“Where are you going?”
Song Do-yoon calmly approached, as if in no hurry.
“Looks like you can’t keep up?”
Song Do-yoon acted as if his victory was already secured.
Min-ha retreated, desperately thinking.
The professor definitely signaled me with the hand gesture.
Surely, there’s a way out of this situation.
But… I still don’t understand it.
What does twisting the side of a hand mean?
“What are you thinking about?”
“Huh!?”
Another gust, this time targeting Min-ha’s abdomen, causing a sharp form of pain as though struck by a punch, causing Min-ha to bend over.
“Ugh…”
Song Do-yoon smirked at the sight of Min-ha spitting out bile.
“Let me think… I should kill you here. If not, I’ll make sure to at least cripple you so you can’t meddle anymore.”
Creating a turbulent airflow around his body, Song Do-yoon continued.
“One last question before we finish. Yu Hye-won—truly black hair? Does it have a sour taste? How about the smell? Care to elaborate?”
He’s gone mad… Song Do-yoon’s eyes have gone wild.
He shouted ferociously.
“Answer me!”
Song Do-yoon hopped onto the airflow around him and shot towards Min-ha like a bullet.
In the split second before impact, Min-ha instinctively generated a Basic Physical Barrier.
This happened unconsciously—all thanks to Professor Hyun’s amazing special training ingrained in Min-ha’s body.
The hastily formed barrier blocked the airflow.
However, because it was created in such a rush, the barrier’s strength was weak, and thus, the airflow caused the barrier to warp diagonally.
As a result, Song Do-yoon’s airflow grazed Min-ha’s cheek, narrowly missing.
“Huh?!”
With a burning sensation on the cheek as if burned, Min-ha instantly understood Professor Hyun’s gesture.
Ah, that’s what he meant!
Dodging the second attack, Min-ha exploded with aura, using the backlash to distance themselves from Song Do-yoon.
“Seems like you won’t answer. Alright, I get it.”
Watching Min-ha flee, Song Do-yoon sneered unnervingly.
“It was all lies, right? To torment me!”
He exaggeratedly covered his mouth and laughed.
“Ho ho ho ho ho!”
“Then again, why would Hye-won want to associate with someone like you? You, with that big chest surely sweating underneath…”
“Yu Hye-won…”
Interrupting Song Do-yoon’s words, Min-ha spoke.
“She’s my friend.”
“Don’t joke around. You… trash…”
“I genuinely consider Yu Hye-won a friend and like her. Not as a means to satisfy your dirty and grotesque desires.”
Song Do-yoon froze, trembling as he stared at Min-ha.
“Dirty and grotesque desires… How dare you… My pure love… You… you!”
“Pure love? Don’t make me laugh. If Yu Hye-won knew your true nature—like how you’re curious about her hair color, taste, or smell—I think she’d likely end up despising you. Knowing that the person who’s been shadowing her is actually someone like that?”
Han Min-ha struggled to give a shaky smile.
“Yu Hye-won would probably call you a disgusting lesbian and scorn you. She’ll reject you, and others who know she’s rejected you will choose to ignore you. In the end…”
“Shut up! Stop talking! Die! I’ll kill you! I’ll rip out your tongue so you can’t say such nonsense again! Die!!”
Enraged, Song Do-yoon unleashed lethal gusts of wind uncontrollably.
“Run, Min-ha!!”
From the stands, Assistant Bae Ye-bin screamed.
But Min-ha didn’t run.
Instead, they created barriers while rushing forward.
Slanted Basic Physical Barriers formed in front of Min-ha.
The barriers deflected the airflow, generating new ones even as the previous ones crumbled.
Taking advantage of the narrow gap created by the V-shaped barriers, Han Min-ha sped forward at an incredible pace.
Aura quickly condensed, causing her body to glow a vibrant purple.
“Die! You useless piece of trash! Slut! Rapist!”
At the sight of Min-ha closing in, Song Do-yoon lost his sanity, spitting while hurling insults.
Amplifying all his aura, he conjured an unimaginably destructive windstorm.
The force was so strong that the hovering camera drones were sucked in, colliding with each other and shattering.
“Stay away from Hye-won!”
A windstorm powerful enough to flatten wooden structures surged toward Min-ha.
When the storm collided with the stacked barriers, it shattered them and struck Min-ha’s body.
* * * * *
“No! We need to stop this!”
Professor Jin broke her pen in her hands as she leapt up, kicking her chair.
But Song Do-yoon’s windstorm was too fast.
Just as the wind, powerful enough to take form, struck Han Min-ha.
Min-ha quickly created twisted barriers behind her, connecting them into a semi-circular curve as she fell back.
Using Song Do-yoon’s windstorm as propulsion, Min-ha rode the barriers like a waterslide, drawing a large circle and rushing back toward Song Do-yoon with incredible speed.
Gasps erupted from the audience stands.
Hmm. This is unexpected, Han Min-ha.
I thought it would just involve deflecting the airflow.
Did you manage to use the barriers as a makeshift runway?
Well done.
“AAAAAAAAAA!!”
A completely enraged Song Do-yoon, noticing his target circling from the side, continued aimlessly pelting the front with attacks.
“Song Do-yoon! Pull yourself together!!”
At Assistant Kim’s desperate shout, Song Do-yoon snapped out of it.
“Huh?!”
Only now realizing the situation, he spotted Min-ha returning like a boomerang, riding the wall of barriers, and hastily raised his arms in defense.
“Too late.”
Professor Hyun Ju commented briefly.
Han Min-ha had gathered all her strength, glowing a radiant purple.
An aura so heavy and solid, reminiscent of her late father’s.
The aura was condensed to an extreme along with the propulsion from the windstorm head-on.
Min-ha was now an unstoppable violet comet.
Min-ha collided head-on with Song Do-yoon.
KWAANG!!
A thunderous sound shook the ground as an immense cloud of dust rose.
Through the thick dust cloud, Song Do-yoon was flung high into the sky, unconscious, limbs dangling limply like a marionette with its strings cut.
Professor Jin broke her chair as she caught the falling Song Do-yoon.
The arena fell silent.
Everyone’s eyes turned toward the dust cloud slowly dispersing.
“Over there… She’s over there…!”
The headhunters behind me, pointing with their pens, let out hushed screams.
Amid the dissipating dust, Han Min-ha stood amidst tattered uniform.
“Min-ha!!”
Assistant Bae Ye-bin leapt over the railing and ran onto the field.
“Hehe… Assistant…”
Min-ha grinned weakly, then collapsed into Bae’s arms, fainting.
