Chapter 508

Chapter 508. Cold, gloomy, and complicated. (1)

Anyway, as the fleet plan got all tangled up, I was muttering to myself.

“Commander, there’s something I need to report. Can I tell you now?”

“What is it, Jessica?”

“Well, the number of bases belonging to Commanders residing within our territory has surpassed 7,000.”

“Oh.”

Hearing from Jessica that the number of users in our territory had exceeded 7,000, I nodded my head, realizing why users from other areas often referred to this place as practically a clan.

‘Honestly, with that number, we’re really toeing the line between a large and super-large clan.’

No joke, in terms of size alone in the Central Zone, where else is bigger than us?

Thinking that, I opened the gallery while watching Ignis’s amazing sword dance, today’s escort.

It seemed like users, having nothing to do during the event’s rest period, were randomly dissecting other factions.

Title: Current Central Zone Faction Map.txt

It’s time for the usual disgusting explanation of the Central Zone’s faction map!

As you can see, it’s all spread out like mold everywhere, to the point where even the newsboy’s media can’t keep up.

I’m the same, so if there’s anything wrong, figure it out yourself.

I’ll just point out the big parts.

1. Icarus’s Kingdom

Recently, including the Leviathan Fleet, the Pirate Alliance Fleet and the Space Monster faction are involved.

Plus, with the headquarters of the four major clans there, it’s super stable.

Maybe that’s why the number of users living there keeps increasing.

They say the population has surpassed 7,000.

Some say it’s over 10,000, but that’s definitely not the case.

2. Free Legion Faction

You all know about the Yellow Turban rebels causing trouble last time.

After they split, they divided into the Free Legion and the Liberals.

This is where users who were originally high-ranking and clashed with Icarus gathered.

Originally about 3,000, but after absorbing nearby users and small clans, it’s up to 5,000.

There were conflicts with nearby users, but I’m not sure if they were pre-existing or due to the mergers.

3. New Central Zone Entry User Clans

[8 clan marks, each with about 2,000 members.jpg]

You might wonder why the above two are separate and these are grouped.

It’s because these clans are all about the same size.

There are about 10,000 to 20,000 new users in the Central Zone.

They didn’t unite into one clan but mixed around, becoming strangely ambiguous.

They talk about forming a clan alliance, but nothing’s certain yet.

4. Central Base Alliance

This faction tried to forcibly elect Icarus as the Central Leader last time, but it backfired when he refused.

It’s a kind of social group formed by ‘mayor’ users of level 4 or higher bases in the Central Zone.

Remember, it’s not a clan.

After that incident, they’ve been keeping silent, so they seem non-existent.

But this faction is surprisingly big. Only users docked in the central docking zones of each base are included, so the numbers seem small.

The problem is, like Icarus often shows, these faction users can instantly double their forces by deploying ‘Base Mercenary Groups.’

Since they own bases, if attacked, docked users and base defense fleets are included in the force.

And most importantly, these guys tend to be sneaky, so you could get politically screwed and ganged up on in no time.

5. The majority of small clans and general users

These are the users who still retain the ‘Central Den’ style from last year.

You might wonder what significance individuals have.

But even if you combine all the users from the mentioned factions, it’s barely under 40,000.

Exactly, it could be plus or minus about 10,000.

But the users here? The remaining 100,000.

And among the users here, there are also clans with less than 1,000 members all tangled up in a complicated mess.

Oh, if you say it like that, other zones are the same, so what’s the problem?

But here, unlike other zones, it’s not made up of large-scale clans and their sub-clans. Instead, these small clans and users don’t have any upper clans, which is the difference.

So, unlike other zones, the map has changed like a rotten orange.

Comments:

– [Oh, damn]

– [Wait, so each of those small clans is a faction?]

– ˪[Yes, that’s right~] (OP)

– ˪[LMAOOOO]

– [You missed something there]

– ˪[What is it?] (OP)

– ˪[Some users there are puppets of the 4 major clans in nearby zones. They’re not sub-clans but are related, maintaining 1-2k members separately from the clans mentioned in point 3.]

– ˪[And you left out the mercenary users. Those users can’t handle things with just Icarus’s Tanhoizer, so they’re taking over bases on their own.]

– ˪[Weren’t they part of the Base Alliance?]

– ˪[Nope, they’re operating separately from the Base Alliance.]

Title: The Central Zone is a freaking tangled mess, damn.

The more you look into it, the more you realize these guys are organically tangled together without clear breaks.

On the flip side, there are cases where you don’t understand why they’re treated as separate factions when they’re not.

For example, even the Icarus Kingdom is tied up with the surrounding 4 major clans.

They’re treated as business partners with mercenary users, so they’re grouped as the same faction.

The Free Legion is caught between mercenary users and regular users.

I thought the users who took over bases were naturally part of the Base Alliance, but turns out they’re not.

The mercenary users are living off the bases they took over themselves.

Ugh, my brain’s breaking.

Comments:

– [Users from the 4 major zones keep coming and going, so it’s chaotic.]

– [Oh, and we gotta separate the clans sponsored by the 4 major clans, lol.]

– ˪[Damn!] (OP)

– [Don’t forget the raiders managing the settlements that couldn’t escape to the Icarus Kingdom.]

– ˪[Why does this keep coming up, damn.]

– ˪[But isn’t that present elsewhere too?]

– ˪[Other places are managed by large clans, so it’s relatively less chaotic.]

– [Brain-breaking, lol.]

—————————————–

The problem is, in those posts, they keep referring to me as the Icarus “Kingdom.”

Seeing that, I couldn’t help but feel curses bursting out of me.

“Stop calling it the damn Icarus Kingdom!!”

“Huh?!”

“Ughhhh!”

Of course, even if I throw a tantrum like this, there’s no way they’d understand.

—————————————–

[Icarus Kingdom Chat Room]

[Notice: This is still the most appropriate room title.]

– [Ohhh, long live the King!]

– [Please stop the slaughter of Icarus, our leader ㅠㅠ]

– [He said he wouldn’t be a clan leader, so we just crowned him King instead.]

– [“Responsibility without pleasure”]

– [He was already stressed out just wearing the armband, now he’s screwing over the users here too, lol.]

[Naples has entered the room.]

– [Hey]

– [Is this the Icarus Kingdom?]

– [Yep]

– [The peaceful kingdom ruled by the rightful ruler of the center, His Majesty Icarus.]

– [How dare you address the King so casually!]

– [LMAOOOO]

—————————————–

‘Guys, please stop.’

As time goes on, all sorts of nonsense keeps popping up, and I can only shed tears watching it.
