Before the Earth Federation Temporary Government subjugation event popped up, the Pirate Alliance and Monster Force’s Grand Fleets gathered in Icarus’ territory.

Even the Pirate Alliance brought their Pirate Empress with her flagship Eclipse and the Armada.

So, while it’s technically said that the Earth Federation was subjugated by Icarus,

some are saying that the Space Monsters and Pirate Alliance tied to Icarus actually split and absorbed the Earth Federation’s forces.

Given how the factions started moving seriously after the last event,

it’s being said that 3rd place Icarus is just a puppet, and the Monsters and Pirates are actually splitting the Central Zone.

This is just my personal opinion.

But seriously, during the 4th-anniversary event, while Xenobia’s reputation in the Central Zone got wrecked,

the Monsters and Pirates formed some kind of non-aggression pact and tried to take the Leviathan Fleet that Humanity couldn’t swallow.

You might wonder what I’m talking about,

but Icarus is straddling both factions, unlike other users.

The Pirate Alliance can hire unlimited mercenaries after surrendering to the Empress, but their actual faction is Monsters.

Until now, it seemed like Icarus was just avoiding being invaded by both factions, but now it looks like Icarus is being used as a forward base for both factions.

So, after the Punishment Fleet wiped out Icarus and user fleets, there’s no way to counter them anymore.

Plus, with the Leviathan Fleet = Temporary Government reinforcements getting wiped out in Humanity’s territory,
