Chapter 50: The Vampire’s Lair

“Alright!”

Airael obediently turned her back.

Then she heard a series of “crack crack” sounds.

“Miss, you can turn back now.”

The young man smiled as he looked at Airael.

Airael spun around, smiling back at him and asking, “Is this the place, sir?”

Before her was a dark, descending passageway.

“That’s right, just down there! Once you enter, you’ll enjoy endless fun, absolutely unforgettable for eternity!”

With that, the young man was about to lead Airael further.

However, in the next moment, Airael suddenly took action.

A long sword emerged from her hand, stabbing the young man right in the heart from behind.

The young man froze for a moment, then turned around in disbelief to look at Airael.

Airael gave him a gentle smile and said, “I’m not that naive; if I didn’t hope you’d provide me some entertainment, you’d be dead already!”

With that, Airael pulled out the sword and walked downwards.

As she passed, the young man collapsed heavily to the ground.

Clearly, he was dead!

The dark passage wasn’t very long, and torches lined the sides for illumination.

Airael faced no resistance on her way down.

But just when she reached the bottom level, guards finally appeared in front of her.

Just like the guards at the entrance, there were two Heavy-armored Soldiers.

Seeing Airael descend alone with a bloodied sword, the Heavy-armored Soldiers instinctively sensed something was off.

“Stop! Who are you?”

“The one who’s going to kill you.”

Airael casually replied, then swung her sword, sending two bolts of Lightning flying towards them.

The two Heavy-armored Guards didn’t even have time to dodge before being struck by the bolts, their bodies twitching uncontrollably.

Airael immediately rushed forward, her Lightning-infused sword stabbing towards their necks.

Though they wore armor for protection, Airael’s sword was no ordinary weapon, and with the boost of Lightning Magic, its piercing power was off the charts.

In the blink of an eye, the necks of the two guards were pierced by Airael.

After taking care of the two guards, Airael continued deeper inside.

She easily dispatched any guards on the way.

Eventually, Airael arrived in a hall.

The hall was currently in chaos.

To put it simply, it was indescribable.

To emphasize, it was a group activity.

This was the paradise of desire!

The people inside were indulging in the most primal of urges.

So engrossed were they that they hadn’t noticed Airael’s arrival.

Airael frowned at this scene.

Though it wasn’t far from her imagination, actually witnessing it was quite an eye-sore.

Moreover, these people were strange; despite enjoying themselves, they gave off the impression of mechanical puppets.

They were merely operating.

In the next moment, Airael shook her head and closed her eyes.

Thinking too much was pointless—better to just clean this place up efficiently.

If possible, she wished she could block out her other senses.

But she hadn’t awakened the sixth sense, and if she completely blocked out her five senses, she wouldn’t be able to do what came next.

So, she chose to close her eyes instead.

Out of sight, out of mind; let the rest be merely a hallucination!

As she closed her eyes, a golden Magic Circle appeared beneath her feet.

A powerful surge of Magic Power emanated from her.

“Bring judgment upon these sinners!”

Airael softly spoke.

Though some among them might be innocent, voluntary, and hadn’t done anything wrong, to Airael—they were guilty!

At the sight of this scene, she had already sentenced these people to death in her heart.

There were many possible charges, but the most crucial one was probably that they had sullied her eyes!

Don’t complain about human rights; in this world of the strong preying on the weak, you only have rights if you have strength!

Around her, swords formed of Lightning sprang forth, dense and innumerable.

In the next moment, these Lightning swords flew into the hall.

Boom boom boom—!

Then came a series of explosions.

Many people hadn’t even reacted to what had just happened before they dropped dead on the spot.

The survivors, unable to continue what they were doing, hurriedly scrambled to gather themselves, screaming in terror.

“Ahhh—!”

Especially the women’s screams drowned out all other voices.

The bombardment didn’t stop; after one wave of Lightning swords was used up, Airael summoned a new wave, continuing the onslaught!

Determined to cleanse the societal parasites in one blow.

At this moment, Airael opened her eyes, looking at the panicking crowd.

However, she didn’t feel happy about it.

She knew her actions might have been a bit hasty, but what’s done is done; she didn’t care what the outcome would be.

Since they crossed paths with her, it was their misfortune.

Meanwhile, the ongoing explosions caught the attention of the masterminds behind this chaos.

Heavy-armored Guards gathered continuously toward the sound.

In a dimly lit small room, five pale-faced individuals were holding a meeting.

Suddenly, the explosion outside startled them.

“What’s happening?”

In the seat of honor, an Elder spoke up.

“It must be an invader! Have those humans finally discovered this place?”

The only young woman present laughed as she spoke.

“You can still laugh? If this place is exposed, we’ll have nowhere to retreat nearby. Those humans have become aware of our existence and are hunting us down.”

The young man across her was quite displeased with her attitude.

“Enough with the bickering! Right now, the priority is to deal with the invader.”

The Elder interrupted.

“Yes!”

Everyone replied in unison, and the previously quarreling man and woman ceased their arguments.

Then the four of them left the small room, leaving the Elder behind.

After the four left, the Elder shook his head and moved to depart.

Upon arriving in front of Airael, the four were quite surprised.

The young woman looked at Airael and said, “You’re the invader all alone?”

“I’m enough on my own.”

With the bombarding already stopped, Airael replied to the four.

“Truly arrogant!”

The young woman was furious.

The others felt the same way.

Airael’s words were far too insulting.

“Don’t you fear that if you fall into our hands, you won’t be able to live or die?”

“With just you all, you don’t qualify!”

Airael shook her head.

They hadn’t seen through her; Airael had seen through them.

Vampires!

Though high-tier vampires, they were still not a threat.
