Chapter 479. The Second Tanhoizer Siege Battle. (4)
Aside from that, players kept coming up with creative and bizarre tactics.

**Title:** Today’s News) Real-time Tanhoizer Siege Battle Witnesses a Surprise Appearance of a Report-Class Ship
**Author:** News Boy

Players and NPCs alike are pulling out all sorts of crazy stunts to survive and make an impact.
Forced salvage ships opened a massive wormhole to drag in another Titan Arum, but Titan Arum reversed the situation by using the wormhole to suddenly appear in the middle of the player fleet, along with some escort ships.
Because of this, a nearby player’s Bahamut-class cruiser got rammed and destroyed, while Minakaze-class and Jackson-class gacha destroyers exploded left and right.
Just as Titan Arum was about to unleash firepower from within the formation, a player showed up with a Report-class Assault Invasion Ship—a one-in-a-million chance drop like Icarus’ Kraken—and rammed it straight into Titan Arum, lol.
Of course, Titan Arum was too big to be sunk, but the Report-class bought enough time with its ramming attack for other players to suppress Titan Arum.
**Comments:**
– [Didn’t the Report-class appear before?]
– [Wasn’t that something the Walpurgis Clan used? Why does another player have it?]
– [The Walpurgis Clan collapsed during the Humanity Revolution while fighting the Earth Federation fleet, and that player defected to the Anti-Faction.]
– [Oh.]
– [Damn, that’s so cool.]
—
Just like my Kraken, there’s also a one-in-a-million chance of a Report-class Assault Invasion Ship popping out of a “Behemoth-class space pancake (?)” and ramming into the enemy’s main ship.

**[Tanhoizer Allied Forces Exclusive Chatroom]**
– [Let me show you something insane.]
– [[A formation of 12 annihilation ships centered around a Megalodon-class, equipped with glowing skins.jpg]]
– [Glow-in-the-dark annihilation ships.]
– [Oh.]
– [And it’s not just the appearance—they changed the beam colors too.]
– [Cool, right?]
– [Wow! LGBTQ beams!]
– [What the hell, man.]
—
Someone who belonged to a clan brought a total of 12 annihilation ships, including an SS-class Megalodon, each with different skins, firing rainbow-colored beams.
This guy was blinding both allies and enemies with intense visual spam.

**Title:** Yo, this is kinda nuts

**Content:** [A small ship deliberately rams into the side of a massive dreadnought to avoid Titan Arum’s main cannon.jpg]
Deciding that losing a gacha dreadnought was worse than losing small ships, they used small ships to forcibly push the dreadnought’s bow.
Instead of relying on the dreadnought’s weak side thrusters, they went full throttle with the main engine to dodge Titan Arum’s Particle Lance.
**Comments:**
– [Hmm, that’s something.]
– [It took less than a minute from Titan Arum’s bombardment confirmation to the dreadnought dodging.]
– [Oh, damn.]
– [Considering the dreadnought’s mobility, they must’ve calculated the best move in seconds after spotting the bombardment.]
– [Superhumans are something else, huh? That’s what a superhuman is.]

**Content:** [Small ships clinging to the side of Icarus’ Ouroboros, pushing it while it’s firing a beam.jpg]
After seeing the dreadnought being pushed to dodge, another player found a different use for Icarus’ Ouroboros area attack.
They’re using the focused mode beam like a lightsaber by pushing it sideways.
The Ouroboros’ cannon got wrecked from this stunt, and resource mining ships are busy repairing it, but hey, they made it work.
**Comments:**
– [What even is this???]
– [Wouldn’t the ships around it melt if it’s firing in focused mode?]
– [A few ships near the bow exploded at first, but after that, they managed to use it without issues until the cannon broke.]
– [LMAO.]
– [This is insane. Now other clans are gonna pull out even crazier stuff in battles.]
—
Players are also using small ships to ram and push large ships, which are fast but have poor maneuverability, to control their movement.
Others, though not at Raksha’s level, are using small ships to disrupt enemy fleet formations with hit-and-run tactics.
There are some guys who are hitting hard.
Some even charge their Rafflesia-Class ships as bait, then try to ram and capture a perfectly fine Rafflesia II-Class.
Originally, this place should have fallen into chaos due to having too many heads, but maybe it’s because they received etiquette training from the Punishment Fleet.
Thanks to their creative tactics and focusing on a single goal without going crazy, the tide of battle seems to be turning in our favor as time goes on.
==========
But it seems like the factions didn’t just sharpen their swords for no reason, even holding events.
The Punishment Fleet is responding appropriately to the users’ creative strategies.
Especially since users are drawn to the big and beautiful Titan Arum or Rafflesia II-Class “super-large ships,” focusing only on them.
The Punishment Fleet, unlike the users, isn’t focusing on the super-large ships but is instead grinding down the overall forces bit by bit.
The problem is that users who only use small ships or, like me, were in the rear, left their main forces—the general-grade ships—to fight on their own.
While the Titan Arums tanked the users’ firepower, the Punishment Fleet’s forces literally shredded the users’ general-grade ships.
As a result.

[Tanhoizer Allied Forces Exclusive Chat Room]
-[We’re screwed]
-[Use the meat shields]
-[Wait, where did all our escort ships go?]
-[They’re dead]
-[???]
-[Since you guys weren’t controlling them, the fleet fought on its own and got wrecked by the Punishment Fleet]
—————————————–
With the ships meant to protect the users’ main forces drastically reduced, the Punishment Fleet’s firepower concentrated on the users’ main ships, leading to a disaster.
Of course, other users also had their own “direct mercenary groups” like the “Rhodes Mercenary Group” or “Avalonia Security Fleet” that I was using.
As their main forces were annihilated, they hurriedly deployed their direct mercenary groups to hold the line.
But realistically, direct mercenary groups are only possible if you have a good relationship with the mercenary leader.
Most users didn’t have such groups, so they had to watch their precious main ships get destroyed one after another.
==========
Naturally, if we left things as they were, the frontlines would be breached, and even those of us in the rear would get wiped out.
So, the users and I decided to deploy all our general ships and mercenary groups to the frontlines, except for anti-aircraft ships to counter aircraft teleportation.
“Jessica, call Lephan and Aquarias immediately and have them launch an offensive at the front.”
“Yes, Commander. But what about Bendalope and Nero?”
“Have them wait at the 1.5 line and conduct mobile defense, ambushing any enemy ships that break through.”
“Roger.”
The problem was, while we were redeploying the fleet to counter the Punishment Fleet’s offensive.

[Tanhoizer Allied Forces Exclusive Chat Room]
-[Enemy Dreadnought charging ahead]
-[Ah, crap, the defense line is breached]
-[We’re lacking damage, requesting support]
-[Got it] (Icarus)
-[Oh, teleport spear]
—————————————–
Uncharacteristically for Xenobia, a heavily armored Dreadnought, reinforced with barriers and armor plates, broke through the defense line.
To stop it, I tried to use my Rafflesia-Class ship, which still had teleportation available, to perform a teleport-spear maneuver and sink it.
But just as I was about to move the Krakens to tank the damage after the teleport.
-BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!
“High-energy reaction detected at the front! It’s a Particle Lance!”
“Damn.”
A surviving Titan Arum in the rear fired a big and beautiful “Hyper Particle Lance something” at us.
The shining beam pierced straight through the fleet without any obstruction…
-“Crazy, emergency evasion!”
-“Unable to maneuver! Unable to maneuver!”
-“Ha.”
-KABOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
“…”
My Rafflesia-Class assault carrier, which had just used teleportation and couldn’t use barriers or maneuver, was turned into a “Ra(()))a”-Class ship.
