I arrived at the floor where my room was by taking the elevator and quietly walked to my room. However, an unexpected situation occurred.
“Hana?”
I heard Haru’s voice from behind. I tried to keep a calm expression as I turned around.
“What’s up, Haru?”
“Why do you have so much stuff?”
Haru was looking at the bag I was holding. Indeed, there was so much inside that it blocked my view.
“Should I help you carry it?”
“No! I can handle it myself!”
I quickly ran away, afraid that Haru would find out there was beer in the bag. Luckily, Haru didn’t follow me.
After safely arriving in my room, I put the bag on the floor and started organizing. I put the snacks in a box, the beverages in the fridge, and soon only the beer was left.

The best way to get rid of evidence is to consume it quickly, right? With that thought, I quickly set up in front of my computer.
I took out snacks that go well with beer and started playing my favorite video on NewTube. Everything was ready.
I giggled as I lifted the beer can. The cold temperature of the can felt refreshing in my hand. It was as cold as ice, probably because I had just bought it.
This cool sensation… it had been a while. I was moved as I lifted the beer can.
Then, I started fiddling with the can’s tab. Maybe it was too tight, or maybe I was just weak, but the tab wouldn’t open easily.

I managed to create a small gap and forcefully pulled it up.

As the tab opened, the crisp sound of carbonation and the smell of beer filled the air.
“Hmm…”
I first smelled the beer before drinking it. The familiar alcoholic aroma greeted me. This is beer.
After confirming the smell, I didn’t hesitate and took a sip. It had been so long since I last drank beer that the flavor filled my mouth completely.
The cool beer went down my throat, almost giving me a headache. The fizzy carbonation made my throat tingle.
After the bitterness, I could taste the sweet, malty flavor of the beer. It was a familiar taste.
As the beer settled in my stomach, I quickly felt the effects. My tolerance was usually high, so I didn’t think much of it and kept drinking.

But it seemed my weak body couldn’t handle the alcohol. However, I didn’t care about my weak physique and decided to power through with willpower! I placed the empty can on the desk and took out another one.
Timing is key when drinking beer—you have to keep it going. Even without snacks, I was already feeling full from the beer.

Just yesterday, I could understand the content, but today’s video felt like my brain was broken—I couldn’t follow the story. I just stared blankly at the screen like a broken machine.
Before I knew it, there were empty beer cans on the desk, and I could feel myself losing consciousness as the drunkenness took over.
I used to be able to drink three bottles of soju without getting drunk, but this feeling was strange—like I was about to black out. However, the drunkenness wasn’t unpleasant, so I just let it take over.

Bora, as usual, had a habit of stopping by Hana’s room before leaving work. Seeing Hana’s face before leaving gave her peace of mind.

But today was different. When she opened the door and entered, she noticed a familiar smell of alcohol mixed with the fresh air.

When I realized what had happened, my face turned pale. Since I got caught drinking beer yesterday, I couldn’t stay here any longer. I had to escape before Bora arrived.
I grabbed Bora’s check card and quickly moved to get out of the building. Checking the time, it was just barely before Bora would leave for work.
I threw on some clothes, put on my shoes, and rushed outside. Inside the office, Haru was sleeping with her mouth wide open. Lucky. I tiptoed quietly to the elevator, making sure not to make any noise.
I pressed the down button and luckily managed to get on the elevator. Once inside, I finally let out a sigh of relief. I had successfully escaped from my room on the first floor, so the rest of the steps would be easy to clear.
As the elevator reached the first floor and the doors opened, I stepped out with a big smile. But as the doors opened, I couldn’t help but turn pale.
Bora was standing right in front of me. She smiled brightly and hugged me.
“Oh my, where are you trying to go, Hana?”
I struggled with all my might, but I couldn’t break free from Bora’s embrace.
“Ah… Ahhh!”
I flailed my arms in the air as Bora carried me back to the room.
And once back in the room, I got a good spanking from Bora. I swore to myself I’d never drink beer again.
