Chapter 435. The Yellow Turbans, Assemble!! (2)
Of course, as soon as the news broke that the Yellow Turbans had declared war on the entire base, the users who were initially trembling went, “Huh? Oh…” But soon after, they realized that all the users in the Triangle Zone were joining the fight.

[Triangle Zone Official Chat Room]
[Notice: The Yellow Turbans are coming]
– [Damn these annoying grasshopper bastards]
– [Now is the time to show the power of unity]
– [Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go]
– [If we were alone, sure, but with thousands of us, we’ll win easily]
– [Yeah, totally agree]
– [LOL, the mercenaries who were busy doing merc stuff are now trying to attack us]
—————————————–
“Ugh, is our combat power rising?!”
Despite being the kind of users who usually get beaten up everywhere and finally found this place as their last refuge, they were showing an incredible surge in combat power, burning with the will to fight.
And then, news came in that poured fuel on their already burning fighting spirit.

Title: Hey, did you see the scale of the Yellow Turbans this time?
Author: Yep
Content: [Leaked chat from the so-called “liberalists” bragging about their total user count just surpassing 10,000, timestamped 1 minute ago.jpg]
They just hit 10,000.
There were some who claimed they already had 20,000 or even half the Central Zone users, while others mocked them for not even having 5,000.
But now it’s clear.
Source: A friend of mine who’s pretending to be part of the Yellow Turbans and snooping around.
Comments:
– [Wow, that’s a lot]
– [No joke, that’s a legit large clan]
– [They said the Central Zone users couldn’t unite, but look at them now]
– [Considering the Central Zone has just under 100,000 users, they’ve grown a lot]

That was the post that just went up on the gallery and quickly got pinned as a featured post.
Of course, comparing the Yellow Turbans’ user count to ours, it might seem like we’re at a disadvantage… but unfortunately for the Yellow Turbans, we have the defense fleets of each base and the Leviathan Fleet firmly in place.

Title: Isn’t the Yellow Turbans’ declaration of war a bit too reckless?

Content: [Comparison chart of Yellow Turbans’ forces vs. Icarus & Triangle Zone users’ total forces.jpg]
Looking at that, the user forces are roughly 10,000 vs. 4,300~4,500.
But the problem is, aside from the defense fleets of the bases Icarus controls, there’s also Icarus’ patented unlimited mercenary corps and the newly deployed Leviathan Fleet.
Sure, from what I’ve heard from Humanity, the Leviathan Fleet is in complete disarray and will likely be out of commission for a while.
But even without that, with around 5,000 user forces…
No, let’s say 6,000 to be safe, can the remaining 3~4,000 break through the unlimited mercenary corps and the defense fleets of each base?
Honestly, I doubt it.
They’re more likely to get wrecked trying to break through the bases and lose a significant portion of their forces.
All of Icarus’ bases are level 5, so they’ll need at least 1,000 users to attack each, and they’ll lose 30-40% of their forces in the process.
Isn’t that super risky?
If they mess up, the Yellow Turbans could collapse, and the pissed-off Central Zone users might just smash them from behind.
Comments:
– [Great analysis]
– [Analysis gets my upvote]
– [Plus, the Yellow Turbans can’t mobilize all 10,000 users]
– [Most of their bases are level 3 or below, so the Central Zone users could easily take them if they wanted]
– [So, even if they leave some users to defend those rear bases, at best they can only field 8,000]
– [Oh man, that’s cutting it close]

As the analysis from a veteran user and the comments proved, the Yellow Turbans’ chances of victory here were severely lacking.
So, I couldn’t understand what kind of confidence they had to declare war on all of us.
“What kind of confidence do they have to declare war on all of us here?”
“Exactly, even the supercomputer at the base and the Strategic Tactics Research Institute’s reports say we’re at an advantage.”
Jessica seemed to share the same thoughts, so we were left wondering what they were seeing that made them so sure of their victory.
For a very long time, I was lost in deep thought.

Meanwhile, at the same time.
At the level 3 base, ‘Incidious’.
A place that other users derogatorily call the Yellow Turban Rebels or bandits, but they stubbornly refer to themselves as liberals. At their headquarters…

**[Announcement: We’re at war with the Icarus gang, follow the plan perfectly to win]**
– [So]
– [How’s the situation going? Are we ready to take over the bases?]
– [500 users each for every base, all ready to go.]
– [Just give the signal, and they’ll charge in mindlessly.]
– [Did you confirm the base locations? If we go to the wrong place, we’re all screwed.]
– [Got it, got it.]
– [[Base Coordinates Compilation]]
– [Ah, good.]
—
As Icarus suspected, they were planning a move they believed could turn the tide.
At the same time, they were devising the only strategy they could call a “chance to win.”
And what was that strategy, you ask?
—
**[Temporary Executive Meeting of the Liberals]**
**[Announcement: We’re at war with the Icarus gang, follow the plan perfectly to win]**
– [Now, we just need to lure Icarus’s main force and a suitable fleet to Spiralus.]
– [Good.]
– [If we can get their main force to Spiralus, which has weak defenses, we can win. For sure.]
—
In other words, they planned to deliberately lure the protagonist’s main force to a level 5 base, then simultaneously capture nearby bases to overlap routes and isolate them.
By surrounding the base and fleet, and preventing the Leviathan Fleet from moving, they could attack and wipe everything out…
It was clear that Icarus would be finished, and while Icarus’s mental state crumbled, they could quickly capture the remaining bases.
By overlapping routes and crushing them, the Leviathan Fleet wouldn’t just be friendly-neutral to Icarus—it would become completely neutral, eliminating the need to deal with them.
Of course, even with such a well-laid plan, there were still some concerns.
—
**[Temporary Executive Meeting of the Liberals]**
**[Announcement: We’re at war with the Icarus gang, follow the plan perfectly to win]**
– [But what if Icarus holds out and calls in those damn mercenaries?]
– [For real.]
– [Aside from the users needed to capture the three bases, we can only mobilize about a thousand users for Spiralus.]
– [If they bring in even 500,000 ships like last time, we’re screwed.]
—
The Yellow Turban users, more than fearing the Leviathan Fleet, were terrified of the “unlimited mercenary corps” they had frequently witnessed and deeply felt its overwhelming power.
However, the executive users of the Yellow Turbans reassured them, saying there was no problem.
—
**[Temporary Executive Meeting of the Liberals]**
**[Announcement: We’re at war with the Icarus gang, follow the plan perfectly to win]**
– [No need to panic.]
– [Last time, Icarus got scared of the Leviathan Fleet and wasted resources hiring 450 or 500 mercenaries, remember? Lol.]
– [Oh, that.]
– [The resources they wasted back then were in the millions. They can’t afford to bring in over 500,000 mercenaries now. Lol.]
– [Ooooh.]
– [So we can charge in confidently.]
– [Yep.]
– [Plus, Spiralus was recently conquered, so its defenses and fleet are weak.]
– [Yeah, we’ve got a real shot at this.]
—
The Yellow Turban users weren’t fools either. Seeing results that gave them confidence in their chances, they set aside their fears, ignited their fighting spirit, and decided to launch a full-scale invasion.
