As everyone knows, Luna is notorious for causing chaos and confusion every time she opens her mouth.
She tends to get her point across, but it sounds so twisted that you can’t help but think it’s a bit odd.
Like the phrase from long ago about “Ah” and “Uh,” Luna tends to just throw out a “ㅇ” without the extra syllables.
But, apart from her close friends, many people are unaware of this fact. The reason is simple.
Outside of the chaos that spills out every time she opens her mouth, she rarely feels the need to speak. She’s surprisingly taciturn.
[“Hey, Luna, are you having a tough time these days?”]
[“No.”]
[“Any suggestions?”]
[“None.”]
That’s the extent of her conversations with professors. Moreover, she loves doing personal training when there aren’t any people around.
If there’s no need to open her mouth, she simply doesn’t. But when she does speak, it’s like unleashing a whirlwind of confusion.
What’s more amusing is that it’s not just an awkward silence she creates. It’s more like everyone gets stunned into silence as a group.
If the stun wears off, they can decipher the meaning and somehow keep the conversation going.
[Luna, Luna. Let me ask you something.]
[“What is it?”]
[“Why do you speak like that? It’s not that I’m offended but you have a knack for blowing people’s minds.”]
As Kara put it, she doesn’t really make others feel bad. There’s no malice whatsoever.
And yet, that only makes it more intriguing. Even without any ill intent, she creates confusion everywhere.
Upon hearing the question, Luna thought for a moment and tilted her head, replying.
[“Well? I just say things the way I think of them.”]
[“What if you processed those thoughts a bit before speaking?”]
[“Even after processing, what comes out is still that…”]
[“So the problem is the thoughts themselves. Got it.”]
Kara concluded their not-so-helpful consultation with this.
[“Honestly, you’d be better off giving short answers like Sivar.”]
[“Come on, that’s going too far…” ]
[“Sounds like a joke? Be careful, or you might end up in big trouble later.”]
[“…”]
Kara’s advice wasn’t something to take lightly. Later, even Rize chimed in.
She said there would come a time when Luna needed to be more careful with her words. A time when her fate could change.
As a result, Luna became even more taciturn. Unless someone specifically asked for her opinions, she usually kept her mouth shut.
However, occasionally, she felt the urge to speak. Especially when she witnessed someone else’s secret right in front of her.
‘Should I say this…? No. It feels like if I do, it’ll be a disaster!’
By the time afternoon classes ended, and all the students headed back to their dormitory, Luna was sitting on her bed, drowning in deep thoughts.
If Sivar were to see her, he would probably tease her, calling her the “thinking person,” right?
That’s just how serious Luna was about everything. After all, she had stumbled upon a secret that was not supposed to be seen.
‘I can understand why Sivar has a lot of women around him. It’s not really any of my business, anyway.’
Even Luna knew how complicated Sivar’s romantic relationships were. She had seen it unfold vividly from the sidelines.
But there’s a big difference between complicated and messy. At least that’s how she viewed it.
Unlike the women who openly maintained connections with Sivar, what Luna witnessed felt just like an “affair.”
What’s an affair? It’s a betrayal that completely shatters trust between people, isn’t it?
It’s the kind of thing that would make anyone look like garbage. It’s better to be a player than to be seen as trash.
‘But seriously, what’s up with Sivar cheating? He’s such a good guy!’
If it were any other student caught cheating, she’d just shrug it off, thinking, ‘Oh, really? What a trashy dude.’
But Sivar? Despite causing all sorts of trouble, he’s renowned for being kind-hearted.
Having watched him closely, Luna knew just how pure-hearted he actually was.
That’s why the shock hit her even harder. The good-hearted Sivar? Cheating?
‘Is it just instinct? No way… What could be lacking on the other side?’
Luna tried to think logically. First, she recalled the women around Sivar.
They all had stunning looks, great figures, and impressive abilities. Those women truly loved Sivar, heart and soul.
So what could be missing from Sivar that he would indulge in secret meetings with other women?
It just didn’t add up logically. No wonder her thoughts became even heavier.
‘Could it be… because of that?’
Luna proposed a reverse theory. It was the abundance of women loving Sivar that led him to this situation.
It might sound weird, but it was a bit like a dog or cat getting loved without any cost.
Knowing they’re adorable and lovable, they act cute or flaunt their charms without a care.
Sometimes, Rod scolds them, but that’s just life as a person, not a romantic relationship.
It could also be that all these women showering Sivar with affection and love have distorted his perception.
‘He doesn’t think it’s natural to be loved by others, does he?’
If it were a normal person thinking that way, she would have dismissed it as just madness.
But Sivar was overflowing with capability and charm as a man. He had more than enough charm to earn affection from women.
Plus, add in that unique good-natured kindness of his, and he practically stepped out of a fairy tale.
With that kind of guy flaunting his charm, how could anyone resist?
‘Especially since Sivar’s a wild one. He must be craving warm affection.’
Just looking at him snuggling and whining into Eli every day made that clear. It’s the same for everyone else.
Luna nodded, feeling like the puzzle pieces were finally falling into place. Sivar definitely was meeting other women.
However, she couldn’t comprehend when it started or why he was seeing Lee Yeon-joo of all people.
‘This might sound rude, but Yeon-joo has a slender figure like mine…’
Even chaotic Luna tries to avoid words that come off as ‘rude’ as much as possible.
So instead of saying ‘scrawny,’ she opted for something more refined. If Yeon-joo had heard this, she might have blown a gasket.
‘It’s not like she dislikes bigger breasts, so what’s going on?’
As already mentioned, Sivar would throw a fit if he didn’t get his way with Eli. He was fulfilling his instincts as a man.
That’s why it made even less sense. Why on earth was he carrying on an affair with Yeon-joo?
Though she’d only witnessed it once, she could never forget what she heard in their conversation back then.
‘The fact that they could even show each other their bodies indicates it’s no ordinary relationship.’
Unfortunately, Luna was already involved by the time it all started. It was a situation ripe for misunderstandings.
If Yeon-joo hadn’t said such a thing, Luna’s personality would have just glossed over it without a second thought.
But the moment she heard the mention of showing their bodies, her imagination spiraled to its maximum capacity.
‘Thinking back, Yeon-joo was practically dozing off in every class… Could it be that they met at night?’
It was a hypothesis with some merit. The funny thing was, this theory could apply not just to Yeon-joo but to other Easterners as well.
Like the Eastern proverb that goes, ‘A cow steps back to catch a rat,’ Luna’s deduction weirdly fit the bill.
‘It might just be my imagination… but still… Chaos-sama.’
Luna quietly called upon Chaos. Just to confirm if her suspicions were indeed unfounded.
Usually, Chaos didn’t respond, but occasionally, at crucial turning points, it would give clear answers.
And this was precisely one of those moments. Luna was hoping that Sivar would choose the right path.
After all, if he took the wrong turn, he might be left helpless against a demon’s threat. For the world’s sake.
With that in mind, she sighed deeply and slowly opened her eyes. In her view, there was nothing there, but…
‘Is Sivar… having secret meetings with any woman other than Grace, Kara, and Eli?’
[Your faith increases!]
As soon as Luna’s question ended, a message popped up.
Upon seeing that message, Luna couldn’t help but clench her fists. It was a positive response.
A positive response was practically equivalent to saying ‘yes.’ It was clear that even Chaos had a keen interest in this matter.
‘See? My prediction wasn’t wrong!’
Sivar was walking down the wrong path. Luna felt a surge of conviction.
Just as she was about to spring up to confront him, a piece of advice flashed through her mind.
[Someday, you too will face pain. Physically or mentally.]
It was a warning given to her by Rize before. Remembering that made Luna swallow her bitterness.
Rize had told her not to run away when that day came, but she couldn’t help but wonder if this was the right time.
‘If I bring this up straightforwardly…’
Luna began to hypothesize about the future situation. What would happen if everyone learned this fact?
She figured it wouldn’t just end blandly. Most would certainly be disappointed in Sivar.
Especially Grace, who couldn’t live without Sivar, would have a dramatic reaction.
Just imagining that made her feel a vague terror. She really hoped this relationship wouldn’t break apart.
‘What can I possibly do to untangle this mess?’
This was a dilemma she couldn’t share with anyone. It was about Sivar’s and Yeon-joo’s secret relationship.
Even if she warned one of them, it wouldn’t have much meaning. Sivar would just ignore it, and Yeon-joo wouldn’t really know.
‘Who else is there? Who can I ask for help…?’
While Luna was deep in thought, suddenly a name sprang to mind.
Someone close to Sivar but didn’t express romantic interest, remaining just a friend.
Most importantly, she was a woman like Luna and they had exchanged words a few times.
Crucially, she was also another Easterner. Someone well-versed in the culture.
“Danyerin!”
Luna exclaimed, the name that should never be mentioned from her lips.
‘Danyerin! Ye-rin was there! I’ll consult with her!’
In a moment of brilliant yet absurd judgment, Luna felt a rush of clarity.
[Your faith increases!!!]
Even Chaos couldn’t hide its applause and admiration for her.
‘See! Ye-rin was the answer all along! Thank you!’
A wave of dopamine started to explode in someone’s mind.
