<Link to the Earth Federation's flagship 'Leviathan' wiki tab> <- You should check this out first.
First, veterans and experienced players need to understand why everyone is freaking out about the Earth Defense Fleet moving.
This is something you can figure out by reading the above post, but for those too lazy to do that, here’s a quick summary:
Basically, the Jörmungandr-Class ships, which were the flagships of each border defense fleet, are now in the Earth Defense Fleet with 10 ships each.
Oh, and there are also the Yggdrasil-Class Super Carriers, which are exclusively assigned to the Earth Defense Fleet.
Lastly, there’s the Earth Federation’s flagship, the Leviathan, which I linked earlier.
To face that, players would need to prepare for hundreds or even thousands of their Dreadnoughts, which most players only have 1 or 2 of, to be destroyed.

Comments:
- [Wait, what?]
- [10 Jörmungandr-Class ships?]
- [Are we screwed?]
- [But what’s a Jörmungandr, and what are Yggdrasil and Leviathan?]
- [Sit down, newbie. We’ll tell you some absolutely insane stories about those too.]

Title: Newbies Don’t Know About the Earth Defense Fleet Ships’ Settings.txt
Author: Big Ship, Big Gun Enthusiast
Content: [Earth Federation propaganda poster.jpg]
Since this isn’t a wiki, I’ll keep it super simple.
1. **Jörmungandr-Class Super Dreadnought**
From a player’s perspective, this is a heavily armored ship that can only be damaged by Dreadnoughts, siege assault ships, extermination ships, or super-heavy torpedoes (or strategic missiles).
Most of its weapons are on par with or slightly weaker than a regular Dreadnought, but its anti-air capabilities are insane.
To compensate for its relatively weaker firepower, it’s equipped with a main cannon on the front, similar to the Ouroboros.
However, unlike the Ouroboros, which can switch between normal, focused, and dispersion modes, the Jörmungandr can only fire in normal mode.
Also, it’s slow.
2. **Yggdrasil-Class Super Carrier, aka Super Heavy Combat Carrier**
This is what happens when the Earth Federation’s love for big ships and big guns is applied to carriers.
It’s on par with the Anomalocaris, used by Mona Lisa, the clan leader of the Magellan Clan, who’s ranked 10th.
While it has fewer aircraft than the Anomalocaris, it makes up for it with enhanced firepower and armor.
The problem is, even though it has fewer aircraft, it’s still a “Super Carrier,” so it carries 50,000 aircraft per ship.
You might wonder how Mona Lisa’s ship didn’t have that many, but she admitted, “I just used them sparingly.”
Also, since it’s a combat carrier, it has about 4 battleship-grade main turrets, and aside from the aircraft launch bays, its armor is slightly weaker than the Jörmungandr’s, but still ridiculously strong.
Unlike the Jörmungandr, which is deployed as a flagship in various fleets, the Yggdrasil is exclusively assigned to the Earth Defense Fleet, so you’ll rarely see it unless you’re near Earth.
When you add Dreadnoughts, large aircraft carriers, battleships, and other ships to the mix, you get a truly insane, invincible fleet.
But the real problem is the flagship, the Leviathan.
3. **Earth Federation Flagship Leviathan (or Leviathan-Class)**
Officially, it’s referred to as the Leviathan-“Class,” but in reality, it’s a “faction flagship” that only one of each faction can have.
First off, its size is literally planetary.
You could classify it as a Super Dreadnought, but here’s the issue:
No matter what ships, weapons, or superhumans players throw at it, they can’t penetrate the Leviathan’s armor. LOL.
It’s not a joke—this ship wasn’t designed for players to defeat.
Someone once tested it by buffing the Ouroboros with every possible command buff, totem buff, and equipment modification, then overcharged it to 140% and fired in focused mode.
It only worked after stacking about 50 superhuman buffs, but that’s not a common scenario.
At least it has some conscience—unlike the Yolmun or Urong, which are fleet-
It doesn't have a strategic weapon that can blow things up in units, but starting from insane tanking, the basic firepower itself goes crazy due to its size. Even if you try to assault it with superhumans, the so-called gun ship is also swarming with defensive superhumans inside. Besides, back when this was still a legit game, about 10,000 users raided the Leviathan and ended up running away after their fleets got wiped out. Of course, it's a game, so it's not without weaknesses. Just destroy all the weapons and propulsion systems, surround the fleets, and beat the crap out of them. But the Leviathan never travels alone; it has its own escort fleet called the "Leviathan Fleet," separate from the Earth Defense Fleet. So you gotta deal with them while also crippling the Leviathan's mobility and firepower.

**Comments:**
- [Explanation is way too long, give me a 3-line summary.]
- [Really strong guys travel in really big groups, and you gotta wipe them out fleet by fleet.] (OP)
- [Nice, nice, you could've summarized it like this, why did you write a novel?]
- [···?] (OP)
- [The OP is just being treated like a pet now.]
- [The price of writing a long explanatory post is being treated like a pet by random passersby.]

And among all the other miscellaneous explanations posted, the summary is: "The Earth Defense Fleet is super strong, and the gun ship Leviathan is even stronger than that!" Of course, Humanity, now able to fully utilize the vast western and central regions of the federation, is replenishing the users' own fleets and mercenary groups that were depleted during the breakthrough.

**<Humanity Executive Chat Room>**
**<Notice: Leviathan is up, everyone prepare for response>**
– [Damn, just as the weekend ended, resources are draining fast.]
– [Good.]
– [Hire the base mercenary groups immediately, we’ll use them to block the frontlines.] (Antares)
– [Got it.]
—
Antares, the clan leader of Humanity, decided to mobilize all the “Base Mercenary Groups” from each base to stop the advance of the Earth Defense Fleet. Naturally, during this process, some users in the eastern regions of the Earth Federation also noticed that the Earth Federation Fleet was focusing its offensive towards the central regions.
—
**<Humanity Alliance Official Chat Room>**
**<Notice: Earth Defense Fleet currently moving towards 'New Saint-Germain'>**
– [What’s the clan HQ saying?]
– [They said to mobilize all base mercenary groups to buy time while we finish repairing ships at the shipyards.]
– [We also need to let the superhumans rest.]
– [We’re already doing that, but how long can we hold out?]
– [Currently, Clan Leader Antares is mobilizing base mercenary groups from the western and central bases to push at ‘New Saint-Germain.’] (Humanity Representative)
– [Some users at New Saint-Germain with siege battleships or destroyers are also fighting, but it’s hard to hold out for long.] (Humanity Representative)
**<Notice: Maximum rest time is 2 days, prepare as hard as you can.>**
– [Oh no.]
– [Holy crap.]
– [This is tough, huh?]
– [I heard eastern users and lower clans are also trying to block the Earth Federation Fleet’s assembly with guerrilla tactics.]
– [Wow, damn;;;]
—
By waging their own guerrilla warfare, they’re doing their best to chip away at the federation’s strength and keep the hard-earned momentum from slipping away. While the users of the Humanity Alliance, led by Antares and lower clan leaders, are buying time with the mobilized “Base Mercenary Groups,” they’re trying to reorganize their fleets to prepare for the final battle ahead.
