Then, the humans could gain even more advantage in fending off the orc invasion.

But if things continue as they are, his wish might just slip away!

Though the two giant beasts were powerful, unfortunately, their battle tactics were utterly pathetic.

Even orc tactics weren’t that great, but compared to those two, the orc strategies were leagues ahead.

His gaze shifted to the battlefield.

As Sam charged straight at him, the Dragon Beast let out another furious roar and opened its massive maw, revealing rows of sharp teeth as it lunged to bite Sam!

During this, some transparent liquid oozed from its mouth and was flung away.

However, Sam didn’t engage the Dragon Beast head-on.

Even though orcs were strong, it depended on who they were up against.

Against humans, orcs were certainly stronger, but against these colossal creatures… well, that was another story.

As the Dragon Beast lunged to bite him, he sidestepped and dashed to its side.

Just as he raised his spiked club to smash down on the Dragon Beast’s forelimb, the Dragon Beast swiftly dodged!

Then it opened its mouth again and sprayed a silver, glowing projectile at Sam.

It looked like fire, but also… not really like fire.

Dragon Breath—!

Noticing this, Axi’s eyes widened.

This was Dragon Breath, a unique skill of the dragon race and one of their signature moves, incredibly powerful and easy to execute.

Though the Dragon Beast had dragon blood, it’s rare for those who could actually unleash Dragon Breath.

Today, the Dragon Beast exhibited this skill, leaving quite an impression.

Not just Axi, even Sam’s pupils slightly contracted.

But he didn’t have the luxury of time to ponder that.

The Dragon Beast’s Dragon Breath was aimed directly at him.

In response to the Dragon Breath attack, he managed to roll to evade.

Though the Dragon Breath missed Sam, it incinerated several orcs trying to surround the Dragon Beast.

Those orcs, upon encountering that silver Dragon Breath, were reduced to ashes or mere piles of bone.

With a gentle breeze, they scattered across the land.

The deceased orcs could only widen their eyes in shock as they saw the Dragon Breath coming—no time for screams!

But maybe this was a blessing for those orcs!

At least their corpses wouldn’t be devoured by their comrades.

This horrifying scene made a few beads of cold sweat roll down Sam’s face as he narrowly escaped.

So this was Dragon Breath; its power was truly extraordinary.

Had he been hit, he surely wouldn’t have fared well.

Axi also involuntarily swallowed hard.

This was terrifying!

Meanwhile, he had to reevaluate the strength of this Dragon Beast.

Clearly, this was no ordinary Dragon Beast; it was something very special.

The silver Dragon Breath just now was solid proof.

Though the Dragon Breath shocked many creatures on the scene, the battle had to continue.

Especially as the Dragon Beast and the Giant Bear seized the moment while the orcs were stunned to launch their attack.

The Dragon Beast seemed fixated on Sam, only entangled with him in combat.

Sam also abandoned any thoughts of underestimating the Dragon Beast.

This creature was a formidable foe, and he needed to focus on the fight.

Other orcs could do nothing to intervene in their battle.

They could only keep their distance to avoid collateral damage, lest they end up as casualties.

The clash between Dragon Beast and Sam was nothing short of spectacular.

A fierce back-and-forth, making for quite the show.

Sam did his utmost to dodge the Dragon Beast’s attacks, but with its massive size, each strike was hard to withstand.

Thus, avoiding the Dragon Beast’s blows was all he could do!

Yet, Sam’s attacks weren’t something the Dragon Beast could completely disregard just because of its tough “armor.”

Each strike that landed inflicted painful roars from the Dragon Beast.

The Giant Bear broke free from the orc javelin throwers and charged into the orc ranks.

With Sam entangled with the Dragon Beast, no one among the orcs could stand against the Giant Bear.

Every strike from the Giant Bear was devastating, and it was a matter of life and death.

One unfortunate orc was pummeled multiple times until it turned into a mushy mix of flesh and dirt.

At the same time, several orcs bore fresh wounds.

One orc’s axe, thrown in desperation, got lodged into the Giant Bear’s surface.

After suffering losses, the orc warriors stopped futilely attacking the Giant Bear.

They shifted to a strategy of containment, waiting for Legion Commander Sam to eliminate the Dragon Beast before they dealt with the Giant Bear.

But containing the Giant Bear wasn’t something they could just talk about doing!

Even merely containing it came at a steep cost.

Those orcs were no match for it!

As the cries of the orc warriors echoed with the Giant Beast’s roars, Airael, regaining her composure, asked, “How’s the battle going?”

“The Dragon Beast and Giant Bear seem to hold the upper hand for now?”

“Huh?”

Hearing this, Airael was particularly puzzled.

Were the Dragon Beast and Giant Bear really that strong?

Picking up on Airael’s confusion, Axi explained, “The Dragon Beast just used Dragon Breath.”

Upon hearing this, Airael was left speechless.

Then she asked, “Axi, are you sure it was Dragon Breath?”

“Yup!”

Axi nodded firmly. “I can confirm that was indeed Dragon Breath.”

“Well, if that’s the case, this Dragon Beast is extraordinary!” Airael exclaimed.

Her eyes glinted in the dark.

In that moment, this Dragon Beast truly became an exceptional mount.

It had surpassed some of its limits.

Though it wasn’t a true dragon, it was certainly not far off from one.

If it made further breakthroughs, those real dragons might end up being outshined!
