Chapter 391. I Can Do It, If It’s Me! (1)
But as I looked at the gallery situation, which was a complete mess, I started to feel something was off.
“Hmm, something feels weird.”
“What do you mean, Commander?”
And seeing my reaction, Jessica, as always, showed her suspicion.
I decided to naturally express the strange feeling I had just felt to Jessica.
“Well, while looking at the gallery posts, I realized something…”
“?”
“Something about the users whining in the gallery… I feel a strong sense of something subtle.”
“Subtle feeling… you mean?”
“Yeah, at first glance, it just seemed hopeless… but upon closer look, it doesn’t seem like such a hopeless event after all, you know?”
“Huh?”
At my words, Jessica made a face that seemed to say, ‘What on earth are you talking about?’
But regardless, it was a legitimate question for me.
“Look closely, Jessica.”
“Yes.”
“If you look at the posts where users are whining… only a very few are about battleship-class ships exploding.”
“Uh… is that so?”
At my words, Jessica just reacted as if to say, ‘Is that so?’
But that was only for a moment.

<Search results for 'event' related tabs in the gallery>
<Number of posts containing images and content related to 'battleships': 516>
<Number of posts not related to 'battleships': 2,123>
—————————————–
“Ta-da.”
“Oh…”
When I presented the gallery search results as solid evidence, Jessica nodded, understanding why I had reacted that way.
“I understand, Commander.”
“I’m glad you understand.”
In summary, my point was this.
“If you look closely, most of the user verifications are about ‘cruisers or cruiser battleships,’ which are relatively lightly armored, right?”
“Huh, is that so?”
“Yeah, so I think it might just be the users making a fuss.”
“Making a fuss, huh?”
Of course, Jessica seemed to find it hard to understand my ‘speculation.’
“Is there really a reason to make such a fuss?”
“A reason, you say?”
“Yes, after all, to do that, they have to verify, whether they like it or not.”
“True.”
“So, aren’t they essentially giving up on their own event and trying to mess with us or other commanders?”
“Hmm.”
I quietly placed my hand on Jessica’s shoulder and calmly spoke.
“Jessica, there are more twisted people in the world than you think.”
“Well… that’s true.”
“There are people who, because they failed, want others to suffer the same fate.”
“Ah.”
As I said this, my expression didn’t look too good.
Jessica also seemed to understand what I meant and made a very subtle expression.
==========
Of course, after saying all this, it was possible that something else might come up upon further investigation.
But since the event period was generously set for over two weeks, unlike usual.
I decided to spend an entire day thoroughly reading through all the posts related to the event.
But as I continued to look through the gallery posts, dealing with the trolls one by one.
It seemed I wasn’t the only one with such suspicions.
I could see massive rebuttal posts rising against the previous ‘event difficulty’ controversy.
And the characteristic of these rebuttal (?) posts was that, unlike the event participants whose mental state seemed to have broken in various ways as their ships exploded.
They were maintaining a relatively ‘rational’ stance while posting ‘analysis’ posts that also served as rebuttals…

Title: But how can Round 6 be that OP?

Content: [Image of a toad with a suspicious expression]
No matter how much the developers have a knack for making bizarre decisions, running a game for over 5 years is no easy feat.
Isn’t it just the noobs or those who mindlessly rush in causing the problems?

Title: Special on those who said battleships or dreadnoughts got wrecked in this event.txt
Author: ㅇㅇ
Content: [Screenshot analysis of a user crying that the Odin-class got wrecked.jpg], [Overview of dissecting a user’s post saying a battleship got wrecked in one shot.jpg]
Overall, they did something that would get them wrecked, so they got wrecked.
There’s a story that the Odin-class got wrecked by a single torpedo spam that destroyed the torpedo defense zone.
That torpedo defense zone is just for blocking one medium torpedo or 4-5 light torpedoes without damage to the main body.
But judging from the smoke trails in the Odin-class wreck screenshot, it’s at least 20 torpedoes.
I say “at least” because with only one screenshot, I can’t tell if those are torpedo trails or explosion effects from the ship sinking.
In the case of the Bayern-class, only the outer armor plate melted.
Despite appearances, it’s actually fine.
And the battleship getting wrecked in one shot… turns out it was just a lucky shot.
Think of it as bad luck.

Title: Those who say escaping in Round 5 is based on intelligence are actually idiots

Whether it failed due to bad luck or not, that’s not my problem.
Looking at what they’re doing, it feels like they’re trying to drag others down just because they failed.

Literally, the whole gallery is divided into two factions: “The difficulty of Round 5 is insane, the developers are idiots!” vs “You should blame your own intelligence level, why blame a perfectly fine event!” and they’re going at each other.
“My thoughts… weren’t wrong.”
Seeing my “suspicions” proven right in many ways, I feel half satisfied.
“Wow… the gallery is on fire…”
“Commander, snap out of it.”
And with all kinds of reports flooding in like “Please block the other person,” I feel half despair at having to deal with all that.
Achieving a perfect 50-50 mental state, I had to feel a great sadness.
“Ugh, my gosh.”
But while thinking that and blocking all sorts of people under the pretext of “false reports,”
