After taking that hit, the heavy cruiser’s vital parts got wrecked, and I barely managed to tank with a shield satellite while repairing with an emergency repair ship.

But then, whether it was a battleship or a cruiser battleship, its cannons fired, and the shield satellite couldn’t hold up.

It was a beam shot, so it just kept coming, and it couldn’t even fully block it—some of it seared through and lodged into the armor plate.

The moment I saw that mess, I realized the enemy firepower was insane and just decided to bail.

It’s not that all the enemy ships are battleships or anything, but their overall performance has just skyrocketed.

I saw some people in another post complaining about destroyers piercing heavy cruiser fronts.

Once you get to cruiser battleship levels, even if you slap on reinforced armor, their main cannons can still penetrate our ships.

Of course, the reactor and ammo storage are super tough, so they won’t get penetrated, but everything else can get wrecked by cannon fire.

And their durability is pretty solid too. For example, destroyers that you could one-shot before now survive, even if barely, after taking a hit.

It might not seem like a big deal, but when you actually play, it’s so frustrating.

It’s just garbage. If you’re not careful, you could lose your entire fleet trying to do the event.
