The One Hundred Twenty-Second: Your Answer Isn’t Important
“Next.”
Receiving something thrown from behind by Ash, Lily looked down and found it was half of her own Heart Seed.
“Ash, this…”
“We’ll meet outside later, don’t let everyone down.”
Lily wanted to ask more, but before she could, the hazy light flashed across her vision, and she found herself inside the Heart Tree barrier due to the burst of light.
“Heart Tree… long time no see.”
Facing the beautiful and magnificent tree with flowers blooming on its branches, the source of power for the Pretty Cures and the embodiment of human goodness, Tsukikage Lily felt mixed emotions.
After all, this was a place where she used to rest safely with Kuron, and also a place where she had never returned since her defeat.
“Kuron… why did you suddenly change?”
Lily was referring to the strange phenomena Kuron displayed previously. Despite only knowing each other briefly at that time, he suddenly seemed to know a lot after touching the ring.
“That ring contains messages from the future, which guides me here after conveying the message to the Heart Tree.” Kuron pointed to the ring on Lily’s middle finger. While Lily was pondering the connection, he continued speaking.
“And not just messages, there’s another me inside.”
“You’re the one I want to see.”
As Lily said that, Kuron flew out of her embrace and caught a golden beam from the treetop, merging into his body. When he opened his eyes, he had transformed into the familiar Kuron to Lily.
“Oh, Moonlight.”
“Kuron!”
Lily embraced him with excitement, feeling that although it felt the same, this Kuron was her actual Kuron!
On the other side of the scene, right as Ash was ready to fight, Bat Demon God suddenly stopped when he saw Ash.
“You, I remember your face!”
Surprisingly, this Bat Demon God actually recognized Ash’s appearance.
“It’s you, you killed Kai. You betrayed us just before the final stage of the plan and killed Kai, causing our plan to fail!”
“Is that so?” Ash tapped his temple, feigning shock towards the Demon God. “I have no memory of that.”
“Hey, Turtle, did it happen like this?”
“Well, it could have or it might not have, anything could happen since he said it. What about you, Small Gold?”
“I can’t recall. I only feel sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye.”
“Haha, it might be like that. A bad guy like Ash turned around just like that. That’s not surprising and quite entertaining, isn’t it?”
Squeezed in at the train door, the Demon Gods questioned one another, but their conclusions were meaningless.
“See, it happened. Everyone forgot it, and you’re the only one who remembers. Isn’t it surprising?” With no answers gained, Ash turned to the Bat Demon God and shrugged his shoulders. “To be honest, I’ve killed so many people. The one called Kai isn’t even worth remembering on my top ten list.”
“What the—”
“Your answer is useless. It’s like that.” Facing the angry Demon God with composure, Ash remained indifferent.
“…Kill you!”
Under Ash’s calm words, the rage of the Demon God, possibly once an enemy of Kamen Rider Den-O and history, surged. Countless dark energy bullets shot towards Ash. Seeing this, the man pushed off forcefully, charging right back at the attack.
Ash deftly dodged between the bullet trajectories, narrowly avoiding destruction, and under the explosion and shadow cast by the falling bullets, he grabbed something from his waist.
“We had an arrangement, no random actions allowed… cough!”
Halfway through his speech, Ash suddenly started coughing violently, collapsing onto the ground. He felt burning pain in his stomach and lungs, as if crucial parts of himself were being drained.
“F—ck… Why now? Damn life!”
Looks like Timons is temporarily unusable. But, fortunately, it’s just timely! If you can use the power, then why not?
“Come on, you Demon God!”
Seeing Ash looking back at him with his big cannon, the Demon God Momotaros pointed at himself.
“Is it me?”
“No, everyone including you!”
“Haha, wasn’t it too soon for us to possess you before?”
“Times change.” Ash ignored the teasing, remaining calm. “Not a good moment to die right now, I need to die at a better time!”
“Haha, what a great time!”
Damn, since you put it that way! After exchanging glances, four beams merged into Ash’s body.
“Do you want to try getting on my hook?”
Previously appearing as the elegant blue-dyed suit Ash, he lightly pushed his black-framed glasses, then invited with a light voice.
“Yeah!” Suddenly in formal wear, with two wild swords strapped to his waist and a cross scar on his face, a stern Golden-dyed Ash looked serious. “Get ready to cry because of your strength!”
“Whoa!” In one moment, he became a rock star, wearing a purple-dyed spiked hairstyle, Minato Madoka-style glasses, and a dark vest, holding an electric guitar while fiercely playing a riff. “You’re easy to beat, I don’t care about your input!”
“HA, I’m Ash, so it’s time for me—”
Finally transformed into a Yakuza outfit, with red-dyed strands falling, the sinister-eyed Ash observed the bat Demon God.
“Now, I must teach a lesson to any punk who dared to challenge me…”
A sudden surge of red light returned to the universe’s darkness. Ash retrieved a fictitious Den-O belt, hanging it around his waist, then pressed four buttons on KTowerLars to attach it to the center.
“[3Peach] [6Umi] [9Gold] [Pounddragon]. ClimbaxForm!”
“Henshin!”
“…”
