Holding a telescope, Momotaros and others looking from an elevated position scanned the pedestrians below, peering about for possible clues.

Transforming from sand into a physical body through a contract with Lily, the bat demon god used its wings to fly up and hide in the clouds, evading the electric train’s search.

“Hmph, don’t think of time so fragile. This degree isn’t an issue. It’s not about the unnoticed process, but the outcome. As long as Lily meets Kuron, we can slightly alter the timeline,” Ash assured confidently, compared to the flustered Lily.

Thus, Ash placed the completely shocked Kuron, who witnessed Lily’s heart flower rejuvenating, into Lily’s hands.

“Hey, Kuron! What’s happening?” Lily caught the soft face, mixing joy and sadness, leaving her confused.

“You haven’t seen your friends in a while, so enjoy this moment before anything bad happens.”

With Ash’s reassurance, Lily calmed down and hugged her old friend tightly.

Indeed, such moments don’t come often.

“Thank you…”

Holding Kuron, countless words jammed in her throat, resulting in a silent embrace.

“My name is Kuron—nice to meet you, even if it feels like we’ve met before. You seemed sad?”

“No… nothing.” Lily stroked Kuron, trembling fingers showing her thoughts, but shook her head. “My name is Lily… nice to meet you.”

Seeing this touching reunion, Ash’s initially displeased expression softened.

“Why, don’t you forgive me now?” A previous slight warmness towards Ash dissipated due to his straightforward statement.

“I misunderstood, it’s not your fault… but maybe I was a bit annoyed.” Petting Kuron’s pom-pom, Lily didn’t notice Blue light entering her as Ash concentrated on her.

“Chief, stop using excuses like ‘not knowing the ring’s meaning’. Scaring everyone with a ring probably alarmed Lei and Erika too.”

“Life events this significant aren’t jokes, Chief. Even misunderstanding wouldn’t excuse it.”

“Sorry, Lily. Your opinion means a lot to me…” Lily felt chills as Ash’s resonant reply.
