Chapter 376. The Ship Storage Service ‘Beehive’. (1)
The method to run the ‘Storage Service’ next to Tanhoizer was as follows:
1. Bring in asteroids commonly found in space.
2. Place the asteroids in appropriate positions and gently melt them to fuse them together.
3. Create many such fused asteroids.
4. Repeat the above process extensively to create an ‘asteroid wall,’ then use it to build structures resembling beehives outside Tanhoizer.
5. Place one ship in each structure, with the entrance blocked by the Guard Fleet.
“It’s a perfect plan, don’t you think?”
“Thanks to that, the asteroids in nearby Resource Zones dried up, and we had to witness other Commanders passing by in tears.”
But while the plan sounds perfect (?) and easy in theory, in reality, it was riddled with numerous problems.
“We couldn’t handle the volume with just asteroids, so we had to dismantle three nearby planets entirely, right?”
“…”
“And I handled all the administrative chaos that ensued during the process.”
“I’m sooooorry!”
Seeing Jessica, who had worked hard to manage all that chaos, I decided to express my deep gratitude.
==========
Anyway, after working so hard to create the ‘Beehive,’ it was clear that other users wouldn’t know what it was for just by looking at it. So, I quietly opened the renamed ‘Triangle Zone Chatroom’ and decided to tell users about our ‘Beehive.’
Although during the process, our exhausted Jessica subtly threw in some snarky comments…
“Commander, isn’t that less of a story and more of a promotion?”
“In the language of the Gyeol Ssaje, we often call it that.”
“…”
I assumed Jessica’s snark was just due to exhaustion from the hard work, so I brushed it off and proceeded with the not-so-subtle promotion as planned.
Of course, since I’ve never studied professional promotion, it was obvious that if I did it clumsily, the results would be disastrous…

Rather than trying to go viral, I decided to just charge straight in. Thanks to that, the chatroom was filled with both confused and intrigued reactions, so the initial launch seemed fine.
But a day later…
“Why is no one coming?”
With a population of nearly 2000, I built almost 100 ‘Beehives’ to accommodate even 5% of them. Yet, only 2-3 people were using it. I couldn’t help but wonder what the problem was.
“Well, Commanders who checked the chatroom and are in Avalon or Barracuda probably have plenty of docking facilities.”
“…There are Tanhoizer users too.”
“Just saying, but honestly, your resource acquisition rate is ridiculously high for an ‘individual,’ Commander.”
“That’s… true.”
“Other Commanders can’t acquire resources like you, so if they lose ships in battle, it’ll take them longer to recover, right?”
“Yeah, that makes sense.”
Despite the positive reactions, the Beehive I worked so hard on…
The reason why only 2-3 people keep ships in the storage is that, after all, the surrounding users aren’t in a situation where they have enough leeway to use the “Fleet Points loophole” I mentioned.
I realized I had completely missed the mark with my target audience, and the thought of how to deal with the massive beehive I made started creeping in.
But that was only for a moment…

<Maya Empire is requesting a chat with the Commander!>
<Will you accept?>

<Chat accepted.>
-[Oh, hey]
-[Hey] (Icarus)
-[I’ll get straight to the point]
-[I saw a post in the gallery, can users who aren’t docked in the triangle zone use that storage?] (Maya Empire)
-[Gallery?] (Icarus)
-[Yeah, someone posted that you made something weird]
-[Anyway, is it possible?] (Maya Empire)

Suddenly, a random user’s chat came through, and after giving them permission (?) to use the storage…

“Ughhhh.”
As chat requests started flooding in out of nowhere, I was confused about what was going on.
After somehow managing to handle them all, I remembered that the first user and others mentioned seeing a post in the “gallery,” so I quietly opened the gallery.
And as soon as I opened it, what I saw was…

Title: Icarus made something weird
Author: ㅇㅇ
Content: [Close-up image of the ‘Beehive’ made by Icarus.jpg], [Icarus bragging about it in the chat.jpg]
Apparently, it’s a storage for ships that exceed Fleet Points and are in an unclaimed state.
I took a superhuman to check it out, and it’s made by welding asteroids and planetary fragments, so there are no gaps.
The only entrance is guarded 24/7 by the Tanhoizer Guard Fleet, and the surrounding defense turrets are on standby.
Plus, Icarus’s own fleet occasionally patrols the area irregularly, so…
For users who are too busy defending their own bases, instead of leaving unclaimed ships at their base, it might be a decent option to pay a bit more resources and store them in this more secure place.

“…So that’s how it turned out.”
After understanding the situation through the gallery post, I realized why so many people suddenly showed up, and I felt a strangely complicated and subtle emotion.
