After the raid, we all headed to Uncle Kang Hangeul’s house.
It feels a bit rude to keep coming to his house, so we should probably get a Guild House soon.
“Arang, so you’re saying you’ll buy the equipment?”
“Yeah. I checked, and there’s crafted equipment that’s slightly lower level than the raid gear.”
Leore is a game where you don’t level up your character but rather your equipment level.
There are four ways to level up your equipment.
First, obviously, is clearing raids and using the gear that drops. Second is using seasonal gear obtained by clearing daily and weekly quests. Third is using gear crafted by players with crafting professions.
And lastly, there’s unique equipment like the Tashim Sword I’m using now, obtained by clearing specific bosses or quests.
Every time a season updates, three types of gear come out: raid, seasonal, and crafted.
Of course, the strongest gear order is raid, seasonal, then crafted. Right now, Leore’s gear levels are raid at 430, seasonal at 420, and crafted at 410.
Unique gear automatically adjusts to the highest seasonal level, so unless you need different stats, you won’t need to replace it.
Thanks to this system, Leore isn’t just about raiding. You can enjoy the game in various ways and still enjoy the new content with each update.
Of course, this system isn’t perfect.
Leore does a soft reset with each season update. Even if you max out raid gear to level 430, next season’s seasonal gear will match that level.
So even if you’re doing the best raids now, in two seasons, your gear will be weaker than seasonal gear.
On the bright side, you can jump into Leore anytime and enjoy it. On the downside, your hard-earned gear becomes relatively weaker over time.
“This crafted gear just came out, so it’s going to be expensive. Are you sure you’re okay with that?”
“That’s the problem.”
“I only do cooking and alchemy, so I haven’t leveled any crafting professions…”
Pinkubelly sounded apologetic, but it’s not her fault.
In Leore, crafting professions are especially valuable. They require a lot of materials, gold, and time to level up, so even if you hit max level, you might not finish crafting gear.
I knew buying crafted gear from the Auction House would cost a lot.
The main way to convert real money to gold is through player-to-player transactions, but since it’s not officially supported by the game, I didn’t want to do that.
So, I had no choice but to earn gold myself to buy the crafted gear.
But then a problem arose.
There were no crafted items for [Sword Master] in the Auction House.
No matter how much gold I had, if there’s no gear, I can’t buy it.
“This is bad…”
I knew Sword Master wasn’t a popular class, but no crafted gear in the Auction House at all?
“It’s probably because the crafted gear just came out, and not many people have leveled crafting professions yet,” Sunchoo said.
Just as I was about to despair, Baldukgae raised his hand.
“What’s up?”
“I’ve maxed out all crafting professions! If you have the materials, I can make Arang’s, I mean, Guild Master’s gear anytime!”
“Wait, you’re max level in crafting? Really, just materials and you can do it?”
“Of course!”
“Wow… Thank you so much, Baldukgae. I’ll gather the materials and gold quickly.”
“Ah, actually… I don’t need materials or gold.”
“Huh? Crafting gear is supposed to be super expensive in terms of materials and time. You don’t have to do this just because I’m the Guild Master.”
“It’s not that I won’t take them, but can I ask for something else instead of materials and gold?”
“Something else? What do you want?”
Baldukgae nodded.
“What do you want? If it’s something silly, I’ll just mail you the materials and gold.”
“Can I join the next guild gathering?”
“The guild gathering? Sure, okay.”
“R-really!? You promise!?”
“Yeah, I’m the Guild Master. I don’t lie. But only within reason.”
“Of course! It’s not like I’m asking for anything crazy…!”
Honestly, it’s obvious what Baldukgae will ask for during the gathering.
I looked at Baldukgae, who I’m quite fond of.
[Munchkin Cat]

Arang’s Baldukgae
During the gathering, he’ll probably ask to touch my feet. With a nickname like that, what else could he ask for?
This feels like I’m getting crafted gear way too easily.
If I converted gold to real money, getting crafted gear would cost hundreds.
Normally, gathering materials slowly and crafting gear over time wouldn’t cost much, but rushing it requires a lot of gold.
And you have to buy the materials too.
But getting all that just for letting him touch my feet makes me feel a bit guilty.
Thinking about it, Anna and my parents often touch my stomach. I guess there’s not much else to touch since my face is covered by the access device, and I don’t have limbs. So, maybe during the gathering, since I don’t have feet, he can touch my stomach instead.
It’s a bit embarrassing, though.

“Hyah!”
I slashed at a wild boar peacefully grazing in the plains with my Tashim Sword.
Since it wasn’t just any boar, it turned red-eyed and glared at me.
I was slightly surprised by the lower-than-expected damage.
“Arang!”
At Pinkubelly’s shout, a protective shield skill enveloped me, and I blocked the boar’s attack with my sword without hesitation.
*Clang!*
Now at max level with some raid gear, my strength stat is high, so I parried effortlessly and unleashed a flurry of attacks while the boar was stunned.
The boar collapsed and disappeared into particles.
“It dropped!”
I rushed to the boar’s tusk item, picked it up, and almost shed tears of joy before storing it in my inventory.
Right now, I’m hunting monsters with Pinkubelly to gather materials for Baldukgae’s crafting.
Even though we need a lot of different materials, my luck is terrible.
“Thank goodness. This time it dropped early. We’re almost done, so let’s keep going.”
“Okay! Let’s go!”
Arang’s body has insane physical abilities.
It’s like something out of a fantasy—time seems to slow down, and I can feel every movement and even the system’s mechanics.
I think it’s because my limb sensations have condensed into physical abilities.
But the downside to this insane body is my luck.
It’s abysmal.
At first, I didn’t realize it.
I thought I was lucky when I got the Tashim Sword, but it started from the first dungeon.
No matter how many times I ran it, my gear never dropped, and I had to hit the pity system to get it.
And gathering raid buff materials took way longer than average due to ridiculous RNG.
Now, gathering materials is taking forever.
Honestly, I almost gave up and asked Anna for money to buy gold.
But I guess this is part of the fun. Yeah, right.
I’m pissed.
20-30% drop rate? No way. This is definitely 1%.
“Unnie, how many more do we need?”
“Umm… 15 more materials…”
“15…? Not 5, but 15…?”
“Yeah… Should we take a break?”
“Yeah. Let’s rest for a bit.”
At my words, Pinkubelly took out a mat from her inventory, laid it in front of me, and sat down, stretching her legs. I naturally rested my head on her lap.
“Unnie, is your YouTube channel doing well lately?”
“Yeah. Thanks to Arang, it’s going well. But are you really okay with appearing in my videos?”
“Yeah. It’s fine. There’s no rule saying I can’t.”
“Arang, you’re too kind. It worries me. If someone offers you a contract or deal, you have to call me, okay? Promise?”
“Okay. Got it. And don’t worry. I know about that stuff.”
Having played countless RPGs, I’ve seen all kinds of people.
I can tell when someone’s trying to scam or what kind of person they are just by talking to them.
I understand why Pinkubelly worries about me.
To her, I’m a 15-year-old girl who doesn’t go to school and has spent her life in the hospital.
Pinkubelly strokes my hair with a worried look in her eyes.
