[Just Me, the Paladin]
Author: GraduateStudentSaveMe
Is there anyone who would read a Paladin guide if I write one?
Cleared the Paladin class’s first solo Nightmare (8/6/7) (Power: 100484)
(Screenshot)
– Paladin pick rate is 0%, who would even care?
– What is this, is it synthetic?
– Total boredom, fake.
– Isn’t this guy from the ‘Korea’ clan, the husband ‘He’?
ㄴ What, he’s real? lol
– What the hell is this? hahahahaha
– Soloing Nightmare with a Paladin is already hard, and you cleared it with three debuffs?
ㄴ With 8/6/7 buffs and a power of 100,000, isn’t that viable even in the arena?
ㄴ The average Diamond would have their head sliced, lol.
– Do you even deal damage to the boss?
– Sending this to the community.

[World of Arcelia New Meta ‘Just Me, the Paladin’ (Serious/Long)]
Let’s get straight to the point with a three-line summary.
Infinite Heal
Infinite Stun
????
PROFIT!
Introduction)
The current arena meta of ‘World of Arcelia’ is too monotonous.
No matter how well-balanced the tank-damage-healer is, at the end of the day, the arena is a battle of power, as our lost home’s dog would know.
I will emphasize once again for the bronze and silver bugs. The current meta is not Rock-Paper-Scissors, but a battle of Scissors-Scissors-Scissors. The bigger and stronger Scissors always win. I will provide the reason later.
To earn your keep in the arena, equipping for solo Nightmare (5/5/5) difficulty during story progression is essential, but it was a common belief that the Paladin, as a healer class, simply wouldn’t have the damage to take down boss mobs, making clearance impossible.
Until the Dimensional Descent Scroll appeared…

“Happy birthday once again, Lara.”
“Waaaaa! Does this mean we can really play the game together, NaeMe Unnie?”
“Yep. You can use the capsule in my room. I’ll use the one in Professor Cheon’s room.”
“Unnie, my heart is pounding like crazy, what should I do…!”
Lara jumped up and down in excitement.
I invited Lara to my home to celebrate her birthday.
Professor Cheon Kyujin, who was sipping coffee in the living room, burst into laughter upon seeing us enter together.
“It seems like it’s snowing. You’ve got a lot of snow piled on your head!”
“Hello!”
“Ah, so you’re NaeMe’s friend, Lara? I hear it’s your birthday today?”
“Yeah! I’m seven years old now!”
“Haha, happy birthday.”
Lara proudly displayed seven fingers.
While the professor got ready to go shopping for dinner, I briefly briefed Lara on our plans for the day.
“You just have to get in the capsule and register your personal information first. If you have any questions along the way, just ask me and I’ll help you out.”
Since it was Lara’s first time using the capsule, several procedures were required at the start.
For instance, creating a username or generating an avatar.
“The game we’re going to play is ‘World of Arcelia.’ If you finish the initial setup and move to the waiting room, there will be a bookshelf with a section for ‘Popular Games.’ Just pick the second one from the left.”
“Hmm… got it! I’ll give it a try! Unnie, am I going in right now?”
World of Arcelia.
An RPG masterpiece that appeared like a comet five years ago and completely changed the gaming industry.
The noteworthy point is that this game implemented a unique system unlike any other RPG or MMORPG — it separated the ‘RPG-style story’ from the ‘AOS-style PVP’ system entirely.
Completing the story would determine a character’s final stats based on achievements and difficulty, which could then be used in PVP.
New users could enjoy just the RPG vector just fine, while hardcore users could create characters with desired stats through repeated clears and test their performance in PVP weekly.
Each PVP battlefield’s concept changes each season, so finding the right job class and skill tree to fit the meta became part of the fun.
Of course, Lara was only planning to enjoy the story mode.
What initially seemed like a simulation software where you could cast magic turned out to be a game that conquered the market, claiming second place in PC Bang occupancy, overtaking Legacy of Legends.
Thinking back to when the viewers recommended the game without revealing it was a game, I couldn’t help but feel annoyed.
“Unnie, can you check if I created my account correctly?”
“Yeah, it’s all good. You just need to log in and create your avatar now.”
“Ugh, how do I create it? I was sure I thought of it before going to sleep last night.”
Creating an avatar is so important that some people argue it is the flower of RPG.
Of course, this only made sense when the job class selection preceded.
“You need to pick a class first. What class do you want, Lara?”
“I want to be a Hero! I’ll choose Hero!”
“Got it. Then I’ll choose a supporting role.”
Lara unhesitatingly picked the Hero class.
Since the story mode was planned to proceed in duo, I naturally chose the ‘Healer’ class.
Just as there was a division over whether the Hero would use a two-handed sword or a longsword, there were various options in the healer class, such as Paladin, Priest, Shaman, etc.
None of the jobs were particularly satisfying.
But then again, most mages could also heal.
However, since it was a game I was playing with Lara, I chose the priest, which was presumed to have the highest healing expectation.
[Creating Avatar]
[Automatic / Semi-Automatic / Manual]
Choices were presented.
Would it be completely random, or would I sculpt every detail of the bones, flesh, and soft fibers?
But what is this ‘semi-automatic’?
[Would you like to select semi-automatic avatar creation?]
[Using a brainwave detector, AI will generate the optimal avatar.]

[Countdown: 9]
Brainwave detection?
What does that even mean?
Anyway, while I was asked to visualize a typical priest image, I vaguely imagined the appearances of people in the previous world.
[Avatar Created]
But after a while, I bit my lip upon seeing the completed avatar.
Brilliant curly silver hair.
Vivid blue irises, with no trace of black pupils.
A smirking mouth shape and sharp jawline.
More than anything, there was only one person who possessed an obscene chest size and sturdy thighs that seemed ready to burst out of stockings at any moment.
“Silvia Alphenheim…”
A detestable thing.
Of all things to visualize…

“NaeMe Unnie!”
“Yeah…?”
“I’ve finished creating mine! How does it look?”
Before I could get lost in thought, I was jolted back by Lara’s eager voice.
She spun around in front of me, showing off her avatar.
The youthful countryside girl, looking about sixteen, flashed a cheerful smile.
I couldn’t help but think that if Lara grew for another ten years, she’d look exactly like that.
AI is really incredible.
“Does it look really weird…?”
“No.”

[Countdown: 10]
I recalled my past self when I was Lara’s avatar age.
The day I first entered the Academy.
I returned to that day, filled with excitement, unable to sleep all night from the joy of escaping hell.
After all, it isn’t easy adjusting to someone else’s body.
[Avatar Created]
“So pretty, our Lara.”
Esteria,
It looks like I need to borrow your body once more.
“Unnie…!”
Thus, the height was matched closely.
I forced myself to smile brightly and hugged Lara tightly.
“You’re really beautiful, Hero Aurora.”
“Ugh…”
“Lara?”
Suddenly, Lara waved her hands.
“Unnie, I can’t breathe…!”
“Ah, sorry.”
I must have hugged too tightly.
“Um… NaeMe Unnie? Uh…”
“What? Is there a problem?”
“Don’t you think my chest is too big…? It might be uncomfortable walking around… I feel like it would be.”
“Is this big?”
Her avatar was indeed rather frail compared to mine.
Was it a difference in values?
Well, having lived as an adult, I didn’t find it unnatural to see my body at sixteen.
I only regretted that I couldn’t show Lara Silvia Alphenheim.
Do I show her what a real size looks like?
“Anyway, let’s get started.”
“Okay! Let’s go go go.”
[May the blessing of the World Tree be upon you.]
***
It was disheartening.
Did I really defeat the wolf this easily?
A tutorial appeared that hadn’t existed previously.
Lara diligently followed the arrows provided by the tutorial.
And then, there lay the remnants of a hunter’s traps left for capturing wildlife across the forest floor.
Feeling something strange, we noticed that an NPC named ‘Remy’ was not too far from us.
[Prologue: Child of Prophecy]
An all-too-familiar introduction to the story appeared, and it was no surprise that the howl of a wolf followed.
[Lead the wolf into the Hunter’s trap.]
“I’m scared of the wolf…”
But for the howl it had let out, Lara successfully diverted the wolf’s attention using even stones.
“Auuuuuu!”
That wasn’t a wolf sound.
It came from Lara’s mouth.
She really didn’t need to go that far.
In any case, the enraged wolves did not slowly close the distance but charged straight at us.
Naturally, ten wolves would be easily entrapped by the trap.
With a clank, they all collapsed before us like a row of dominoes.
“Wow! I caught a dog!”
“It’s not a dog; it’s a wolf.”
Correcting Lara’s incorrect knowledge was just a bonus.
