“You better repay this Princess well!”
Feeling the weight of Lynn’s gaze, Rhine’s heart sank to a new low.
He was out of options.
He couldn’t kill him, and his life was dangling in Lynn’s hands—what could he do? With that thought, the once fiercely vengeful Rhine suddenly found himself lost.
Then, a wave of fear and regret hit him hard.
If only he hadn’t provoked this guy that night, if only he had just politely brought him to pick out a Transcendent weapon when they entered the cellar, but in this world, how many “if onlys” could you count? Rhine’s face turned pale as he gritted his teeth, “Fine, just do it!”
Seeing this, Lynn’s expression darkened, “What do you mean ‘just do it’? I’m not gay.”
Neither am I, damn it! Rhine nearly fainted at the thought.
He had a feeling he already knew what Lynn was planning to do.
Lynn sized him up, saying, “Alright, even though we both want to kill each other, out of respect for Her Highness the Princess, I’ll give you a chance.”
At these words, Rhine’s body shook, and he looked up in disbelief.
Could it be that he genuinely wanted to make peace? Just as this thought crossed his mind, he saw a devilish grin on Lynn’s face.
In the very next moment, Lynn finished his statement, saying, “Actually, I’m into bestiality.”
“Oh yeah, and as usual, remember to be completely naked.”
Rhine’s heart dropped again.
“About that thing? I’ll ask you properly next time I drop by.”
After leaving that gem of wisdom for the grinning puppet, Lynn walked out of the Containment Room.
But just a few steps later, he bumped into Lady Milani in the corridor.
Upon seeing her leaning against the wall in a charming pose, he couldn’t help but whistle, “Good morning, beautiful lady.”
In response, Milani shook her head, “You really have a twisted sense of humor.”
Recalling how Rhine had looked like a zombie just moments ago, she felt somewhat helpless.
This guy didn’t seem to be that malicious; his taste, however, was truly hard to commend.
With this thought in mind, Milani casually said, “I have an experiment to continue, so I won’t linger, but you should come by sometime and check if there are any side effects from the last experiment.”
“Of course.”
Lynn nodded.
On the inside, however, he was grumbling.
He was trying to avoid being discovered by Milani or Ivyst, so why would he rush headfirst into danger? With that in mind, Lynn left the cellar.
Not far off, he spotted a fuming Hakimi.
After leaving Her Highness the Princess’s study, Afia had stealthily made her way to the cellar entrance.
Hakimi’s nature made her want to be part of the action.
Even though Lynn had annoyed her for several days, Afia still wanted to see how this guy would resolve the problem this time.
With that in mind, Afia tiptoed down the steps.
Before she could stabilize her footing, a naked blonde man walked towards her.
Who? Afia crouched low, activating her Dragon Form.
In the dim light, she recognized the man before her.
It was the disoriented Rhine.
She had never liked this guy, but due to her ties with the Princess and the Augusta family, she had tolerated him.
And after learning he was a naked-running gay, her disdain only grew.
As a “Fertile” Transcendent, she believed her deity solely recognized male and female genders and advocated for strict heterosexuality.
In the Fertility Church, homosexuality was utterly taboo; offenders could even be executed.
However, she had no interest in judging Rhine’s personal preferences.
He was just a gay guy anyway; as long as he didn’t bother her, they had no issues.
With that thought, Afia prepared to make a swift exit. Just being in the same room with this weirdo was unnerving.
But just as she lifted her paw, Rhine’s raspy, zombie-like voice called out, “I’m not gay, Lynn made me do it.”
Huh? Afia’s expression turned wary instantly.
What was he planning with that? Just as this thought formed, she heard Rhine follow up with, “Actually, I’m into bestiality.”
“!!”
Is that aimed at me?! Afia exploded at that moment, swinging her tiny paw and knocking him out of the cellar.
“Oh look, it’s Little Black! It’s been a few days, how come you’re so—ow, ow, ow!!!”
As soon as Lynn saw the black cat squatting by the roadside, he couldn’t help but tease.
But before he could finish his sentence, he saw Afia, in a fit of rage, leap up and clamp her four paws around his head, biting down! What a villain!
Last time in the Tavern Guest Room, and now this!
He just keeps bullying me!!! Clearly, Afia attributed Rhine’s earlier behavior to Lynn.
And truth be told, she wasn’t wrong.
Right at that moment, the small black cat stuck to the back of Lynn’s head like she was glued there.
He tried pulling her off a couple of times, but felt like his scalp was about to be ripped off, so he gave up, trudging out of the cellar with a dangling accessory.
Bathed in the bright sunlight of the estate, Lynn squinted his eyes.
“What’s going on here?”
Greya’s voice suddenly came from the side.
Looking at Afia biting onto Lynn’s head, he wore a serious expression.
Lynn shook his head, causing Little Black’s tail to sway like a braid, “Let’s talk while we walk.”
“Talk while we walk?” Greya seemed to have been triggered, “Did you not hear? My brother just went berserk, running around without clothes, and he came at me saying he’s into bestiality. Ugh, it’s terrifying to think about.”
Upon hearing “bestiality,” Afia bit down even harder on Lynn’s head.
“Impressive, right? That was all me.”
Lynn beamed with pride.
“You did that?” Greya was dumbfounded, instinctively giving him a thumbs up, “Lynn brother—no, brother, from now on, you’re my real brother!”
“Teach me your ways!”
“Sure, no problem.”
Just as the two of them were chatting and joking, a familiar figure slowly emerged from the shadow beneath the far wall.
Due to the sunlight everywhere, Morris’s powers were greatly weakened.
“Why are you standing so far away?”
Seeing Morris look cautious, Lynn felt puzzled.
“Uh, it’s nothing.” Morris started to sweat at the sight of him, “The Princess asked me to tell you that she’s letting you off the hook this time, but in return, you need to complete the tasks she assigned you well.”
“Is that all? Alright, I got it.”
Lynn nodded.
He was about to ask something more, but before he could speak, Morris vanished in a flash.
As if he was dodging some kind of plague.
“This guy…”
Lynn shook his head.
But reminded by Morris, he recalled that woman seemed to have given him a task.
Glancing at Greya beside him, Lynn said, “Tell me more about the School of Creation and those three hundred lost lambs.”
Why is no one talking? I’m getting nervous!
