Chapter 311. Everyone has only one thought in their heads. (2)
Of course, shortly after the gallery’s outcry, the so-called ‘Temporary Clan’ posted a separate explanation, claiming they were wronged.

**Title:** We’re just a temporary clan, planning to disband after the battle
**Author:** Auroral
**Content:** [Chat window verification.jpg guaranteed by solo rankers within the top 10, excluding the protagonist]
Yeah.
The rankers, who have some credibility, guaranteed it.
Our goal is to create a base that users can freely use, and for everyone to suck up resources from that base.
**Comments:**
– [Heeeeh]
– [What’s the difference from Walpurgis?]
– [They got caught sneaking around and got wrecked by PR, but here, we’re openly saying we’re a temporary clan and even promoting that we have guarantees?]
– [Kinda vague]
—
However, regardless, with the so-called ‘temporary clan’ posting their explanation and the rankers’ ‘guarantee’ clearly attached, the gallery’s opinion shifted to, “Well, that seems trustworthy enough,” leaving behind a sense of acknowledgment.
But separately, some newbie users were having a meltdown, unable to understand.
—
**Title:** But if 1,000 people take over a base, wouldn’t the split resources be ridiculously small?
**Author:** Yeah
**Content:** [Toad image raising a question mark]
For real.
Even if you take over a base, you only get like 100k resources and a few thousand gold, right?
If 1,000 people split that, wouldn’t it be peanuts per person?
**Comments:**
– [What are you talking about?]
– [When you take over a base and dock, the user who docks at the center gets the most, and the rest get about one-third of what the center user gets.]
– [Oh, for real?] (Author)
– [That’s correct. I docked at a level 1 base before and got one-third.]
—
It turned out that this wasn’t a proper critique but just gallery-style aggro from someone who genuinely didn’t know.
This led to a minor incident where the usual know-it-alls, who love to explain everything, rushed in to clarify.
—
**Title:** For all the clueless newbie grandpas who’ve never taken over a base.txt
**Author:** Yeah
**Content:** [Toad pointing at its head, urging you to think, with a frog below]
Since there are more clueless people than I thought, here’s the deal:
When a base is taken over, the clan leader or the user docked at the center gets 100, right?
Then the users docked around get about 30 to 35.
And if there’s anyone saying, “Nah, the base I docked at was different,” go ahead and smash your head and lie down.
The actual buffs and resource details vary by base.
Some give no resources but instead give Fleet Points.
Some only give gold.
There are places like the Avalon Fortress, which is purely optimized for self-defense.
And then there’s the Tanhoizer Gate Fortress, which is optimized for movement.
Also, the percentage you get depends on the base level.
The percentage is based on the center.
At level 1, you get 50%, but by level 3, it’s less than 40%.
By level 5, it’s definitely below 30%.
And at level 7 and above, it’s always less than 15%.
**Comments:**
– [Ah, I see. I totally get it now.]
– [Koitsu, your brain is already broken lol]
– [Wait, so if you take over a high-level base, isn’t that a loss in resource gain?]
– [I don’t get it.]
– [But the absolute amount is higher at higher levels.]
– [When level 1 gives 100 and you get 50, level 5 gives 1,000 and you get 300, and level 7 gives 10,000 and you get 1,500.]
– [Ah, I see.]
– [It’s not just resources. Gold, Fleet Points, and other stuff work similarly, so keep that in mind!]
– [Thanks, thumbs-up porcupine!]
—
However, while users were leaving behind their ‘appropriate’ understanding, the clan leader of the ‘Temporary Clan,’ Auroral…
Laura and the surrounding users had other thoughts in mind.
“Honestly, even though the top rankers guaranteed it, what are they gonna do if we take the base?”
“True.”
“If we just drag our feet for about a week after taking the base, it won’t matter if they’re top rankers or not.”
“Kyaaa.”
Even though they had guarantees from the top rankers, the moment they took the base…
They planned to stall for time, pretending to need time to prepare or whatever, and then…
Once Tanhoizer’s defensive forces respawned, they were determined to create a clan and grow seriously.
Of course, this would cause their existing top ranker connections to crumble, but…
“Honestly, isn’t it enough to just take Tanhoizer?”
“If things go south, we can ally with Icarus as fellow base-takers.”
“Do you think Icarus would accept?”
“Considering Avalon is right nearby, it’d be hard for them to refuse… especially if a clan of a thousand openly demands it.”
“That’s true.”
“Ugh.”
Even if it meant giving up those connections, they believed taking Tanhoizer was worth it, so it wasn’t a big issue.
==========
But just as Auroral and their inner circle were plotting their betrayal…
They weren’t the only ones planning to stab someone in the back.

<Solo Ranker & Guarantor Neglect>
<Notice: Noobs, not rankers ♡ Get lost ♡>
[By the way, what if Auroral takes the base and goes silent?]
[I think everyone has their own methods.] (Menaldu)
[Forget silence, it’s obviously a chance to take the base. Are we just gonna let it go?]
[What would you do?] (Indypatible)
[I got advice from Königs and planted a traitor in the clan.] (Menaldu)
[Oh, you too?] (Laura)
[Yeah, me.] (Indypatible)
[LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL] (Königs)
[Since when were we connected by a sacred neural network?] (Menaldu)
[Honestly, it’s hard to trust just Auroral, right?]
[True.]
[True.]
[True AF.]
—————————————–
Not only were the top rankers wary of Auroral’s betrayal…
But even the guarantors were preparing to stab Auroral in the back…
And had planted traitors in the “Temporary Clan” to take the base themselves…
So if Auroral betrayed and tried to officially form a clan, they planned to immediately cause internal strife.
==========
And finally…
—————————————–
<A Group of People Praying to God on a Ship>
[The name is well-chosen.]
[So we’re gonna attack when Auroral tries to dock the base?]
[Yeah, Auroral and their inner circle, about 10 people.]
[We’ll quickly attack when they’re off guard, destroy them, and hand the spot to another nearby user.]
[Give it to the user with the most fleet losses, and if they try to strengthen their forces, we’ll crush them immediately.]
[Damn, that’s brutal.]
[Isn’t this enough?]
[For real lol.]
—————————————–
Some of the traitors planted by the top rankers and guarantors were burning with the will to betray both Auroral and the guarantors and take the base themselves.
—————————————–
<Tanhoizer Raid Clan Temporary Inquiry Room>
[Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.]
[???]
[<Chat Image Screenshot>]
[There’s a traitor in the clan, be careful.]
[Oh…]
—————————————–
Meanwhile, some were betraying even that plan and informing Auroral and the clan, aiming to secure a position for themselves later.
It was truly a war of all against all.
