At this very moment, they were confronted with a rather serious issue.

Should they continue leading the army to conquer lands, or join forces to deal with Mork?

If it came down to choosing, without a doubt, while they pressed on with their conquest, Mork would undoubtedly be right behind them reclaiming lost ground.

Which was faster, their assault or Mork’s recovery? It was really hard to say.

And this way, their losses would certainly be significant.

Without much hesitation, Airael exchanged glances with her companions, and they all agreed to charge at Mork together.

After defeating the Stone Golem, Mork had begun his efforts to reclaim territories.

The human soldiers along the way couldn’t stop him, and soon no one dared to block his path, retreating in a frenzy.

Mork pursued them mercilessly from behind.

“Steady! Soldiers, steady! Maintain formation, don’t panic!”

Arthur shouted loudly as he rushed over, witnessing the chaotic state of the human formation.

His words had some effect; the soldiers, seeing him alongside Airael and Cain, found some solace.

Great! Their commander had arrived, and there was someone capable of dealing with this terrifying guy!

The human soldiers were utterly afraid of Mork!

After calming the soldiers’ emotions, Arthur and his companions stepped forward to challenge Mork.

Surrounding Mork were fallen bodies, most of them freshly fallen human soldiers.

Some were not yet dead, groaning weakly on the ground.

But soon enough, reinforcements from the Orcs and Dark Elves finished them off.

Witnessing this scene, Arthur’s eyes burned with anger.

Seeing Arthur and company, Mork was not the slightest bit surprised and chuckled, “It seems like one of you is missing.”

“I’m right here!”

No sooner had he finished speaking than a strong, elderly voice rang out.

In the next moment, Andrew emerged from the crowd and joined Airael and the others in battle.

“Mork, if you remain so stubborn, then you won’t be leaving here today.”

After stepping forward, Andrew addressed Mork.

He still entertained the hope that Mork would retreat on his own.

“Little one, who gave you such confidence? I have already broken your magic, and without that annoying spell, what makes you think you can stand against me?”

Mork looked exceedingly arrogant.

However, he certainly had grounds for that arrogance.

Arthur and Cain, having calmed their anger, felt a weight in their hearts.

That day, they were able to counter Mork thanks to the Stone Golem.

“While you’ve broken Lord Andrew’s magic, that’s merely one spell!”

At that moment, Airael spoke up.

Everyone’s attention turned towards her.

“Magic is wielded by Mages. Although you can break a Mage’s spell, it doesn’t mean you can defeat the Mage.”

Her statement left Andrew looking quite astonished.

Arthur and Cain initially felt regret for being so easily affected by Mork’s aura, but then they gathered their spirits and focused intently on Mork.

No matter what, they couldn’t easily concede.

“Hmph!” Mork snorted coldly, “Let me see what tricks you have. Show me everything you’ve got.”

“Don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed.”

As soon as she finished speaking, a golden Magic Circle appeared beneath Airael’s feet.

Next, two beams of golden light shot into Arthur and Cain’s bodies.

Arthur looked at Cain, instantly feeling significantly boosted.

“You two hold him off.”

After casting her enhancement spell, Airael whispered to them.

Although the two didn’t know what Airael intended, they simply did as she instructed.

“Got it!”

With that, they fixed their gazes upon Mork.

Even with their enhanced abilities, Mork still looked down upon them.

His focus was solely on Airael and Andrew, the two Mages.

He still felt wary of them both.

Whether it was Andrew or Airael, both were undeniably geniuses in the realm of magic.

Especially Airael, who seemed young yet was already a rare talent in magical prowess.

This sense of being completely ignored churned within Arthur and Cain, making them quite unhappy.

Though their current strength didn’t measure up to Mork’s, they were still prodigies, among the best of their peers.

Exchanging a glance, their eyes burned with fury as they charged at Mork together.

This battle had already woven in their personal stakes.

They had to prove themselves, to show they were capable!

“I’ll lend you a hand!”

Noticing their intentions, Andrew smiled faintly and cast two magical beams towards them.

As the magical light enveloped them, they were each adorned with a layer of armor.

A layer of shimmering silver armor.

Though they were clad in armor, Arthur and Cain’s agility was not hindered in the slightest.

That armor felt like nothing more than a feather to them.

“Lord Andrew, I need to concentrate on preparing my magic next, so please take good care of those two for me.”

“Not a problem.”

Andrew readily agreed to Airael’s request.

At the same time, he was quite curious about what kind of magic Airael was about to unleash.

Looking at Airael, he sensed that this spell must be exceptionally powerful and potentially mind-blowing.

After all, those were the privileges of geniuses.

Only geniuses who could redefine what others knew were deserving of that title.

Next, Andrew kept an eye on Airael’s actions while casting support magic to help Arthur and Cain confront Mork.

Fueled by warlike spirit and with Airael and Andrew’s assistance, even without the Stone Golem’s support, the duo was holding their ground against Mork.

Of course, Mork’s divided attention played a significant role in that.

Mork’s gaze occasionally shifted to Airael.

Though he had no idea what strategies they discussed earlier, it was clear that Airael had been preparing a spell.

The thick magical aura she emanated was no illusion.

He considered breaking through the two to stop Airael, but it was to no avail.

Suddenly, the sky darkened.

As dark clouds gathered, a fierce wind picked up.

Arthur and Cain were pushed away from Mork.

The howling wind made it nearly impossible for them to open their eyes, severely disrupting their battle.

While shielding their eyes, Mork caught a glimpse of Airael out of the corner of his eye.
