“Hehe!”
I laughed as I pulled a small table towards me. One of the good things about moving here was that the room had more space. The building I was in before wasn’t exactly small, but it wasn’t as spacious as this one. I guess you could say it was just medium-sized.
I placed the LEGO box on the table. I was supposed to assemble it yesterday, but I couldn’t because of a headache. Come to think of it, that mysterious headache might have been a headache for making an apple on my head. Otherwise, there’s no way I would have gotten such a sudden headache.
And in the mirror, I still had a branch sticking out of the top of my head. The employees had picked the apples a long time ago, but they didn’t try to take the branch attached to my body. Suddenly, I became curious. What would happen if I pulled out this branch on my head?
With the curiosity of a child sticking chopsticks into an outlet, I stood in front of the mirror. With a determined expression, I fiddled with the branch. The texture was just like a regular branch. I smirked and bid farewell to the branch on my head.
I could teach this cheeky branch a lesson. I put all my strength into my hands and pulled with all my might.
“Ahhh!”
The intense pain felt like my brain was being pulled out. I let go of the branch and rolled around on the floor. It hurt so much. The pain was unbearable. I ended up crying so much that tears came out. The branch didn’t come out. My reflection in the mirror looked the same as before. I decided to stop paying attention to the branch.
Would it come off cleanly if I cut it with a saw or something? I was curious, but I couldn’t do it because of the pain I just experienced. If I planted it separately and made it bear apples, it would be a huge profit!

I sat back down. I placed the LEGO box I had been fiddling with on the table. When I opened the package, it was full of LEGO pieces. I took out the instruction manual. It kindly explained how to assemble the LEGO. I carefully examined the manual. I was more serious than when I was studying. Studying was simple and easy, but assembling LEGO was complicated and difficult, so I needed to focus.
I carefully poured the LEGO pieces onto the table. I didn’t want them to fall on the floor. I took measures to prevent the LEGO pieces from scattering, but I was still very cautious. There were many cases where one missing piece would prevent completion.
Anyway, after gathering all the LEGO pieces, I slowly started assembling the dinosaur. The manual not only had written instructions but also pictures, making it much easier to understand. It seemed easier than the rabbit balloon I made last time.
And LEGO wouldn’t burst like a balloon. You just had to assemble it piece by piece, and that was it.
“Whoa!!!”
I couldn’t help but marvel at the LEGO taking the shape of a dinosaur. Is this how the creator felt? Was this the emotion God felt when creating humans? Of course, the academic theory is that humans evolved, but I didn’t have that scientific sensibility.
“Wow!”
Finally, I completed the LEGO dinosaur. The assembly wasn’t particularly difficult, so I succeeded on the first try. The dinosaur family had grown. From the dinosaur pajamas I was wearing to the glow-in-the-dark dinosaur on the wall and the dinosaur toy I got from a fast-food restaurant event! Later, if conditions allowed, I wanted to make a large dinosaur statue in the square in front of our building.
Wouldn’t it be nice to let others know the majesty of the great creature that is the dinosaur?
I picked up my mobile phone and took a commemorative photo. I planned to post it on SNS. My account had friends like Jiyu and Yumi added. Kids these days don’t use KakaoTalk, and that was true. Of course, they used it for group announcements, but that was it. Personal conversations between friends were handled through other SNS platforms.
I, who only used KakaoTalk, had a bit of trouble adapting, but I quickly got used to it. I wasn’t old; I was young, so my ability to learn was naturally fast.

Wyatt, after escaping the airport, tried to book a hotel. But all the hotels were already full. There were over 400 hotels in Seoul. But the hotel Wyatt wanted to book was a 5-star hotel.
He was a wealthy man from the US, and he wanted a 5-star hotel.
You should probably stay. But even the suites that cost tens of millions a day were all sold out. No matter how much I thought about it, it didn’t make sense. Korea wasn’t exactly a country that was *that* attractive for tourism.
The natural scenery wasn’t that great, and it’s not like there were any particularly unique buildings either. All that greeted you were the same old matchbox-like apartments. Maybe things would be different if you went to the countryside, but the natural scenery you could see in Seoul was all the same.
Luckily, Wyatt’s entourage managed to find a hotel room with a canceled reservation. Wyatt looked around the hotel room that cost over a million won a day and said:
“Pretty cramped.”
From his perspective, the room wasn’t satisfying. Wyatt, who owned a mansion, thought this room was smaller than his bathroom. But he had to endure this discomfort. Since the auction was happening in Korea, the one who hesitated would lose.
When Wyatt entered the hotel, he realized there were many tycoons like himself. No, not just this hotel—it seemed like all the hotels in Seoul were fully booked. Tycoons from all over the world had gathered in Seoul.
“If someone dropped a nuke on Seoul right now, it’d be chaos.”
Wyatt joked, but his secretary couldn’t help but break into a cold sweat. As Wyatt said, Seoul was currently filled with tycoons who controlled the global economy. If some country went crazy and dropped a nuke here, it would trigger a global depression.
But no one would do something that insane. Maybe North Korea, but no other country had any reason to drop a nuke on Seoul.
And so, tycoons from all over the world were gradually gathering in Seoul. There was still some time before the auction, but some latecomers had to settle for lower-tier hotels since they couldn’t book 5-star ones.
—
Kim Sehee couldn’t help but be shocked when she saw the list of auction attendees. There were tycoons whose names alone were enough to make anyone’s jaw drop. There were far more foreign tycoons than Korean ones.
“The CEO of Apple is attending!”
“I heard oil tycoons from the Middle East are coming too?”
The employees reviewing the list were trembling. Tycoons of unimaginable wealth, incomparable to Korean chaebols, were flocking to Korea.
It made sense why they were attending. No matter how rich you are, if you’re human, you’ll care about your health. Or maybe it’s *because* they’re overflowing with money that they care about their health.
Ordinary people are too busy making ends meet to worry about their health, but tycoons are different. Sure, some tycoons work hard, but most live a life of leisure, unlike regular office workers.
They were liberated from labor because of their wealth. Isn’t every salaryman’s dream to be freed from work and just live a life of hobbies?
This apple might also be popular among tycoons since it’s responsible for rejuvenation and health. Even though the auction date was still a ways off, they were already flocking to Korea. I thought they’d come 2-3 days before the auction, but there was still over a week left. And this was excluding the less decisive tycoons.
“Give it your all in preparing the auction venue!”
Kim Sehee, already deep in the thick of things, poured her heart and soul into preparing the highest quality and most satisfying auction possible. Thankfully, there was still some time left. And the tycoons attending the auction were likely more interested in the auction items than the venue itself. Of course, it was only natural to give it her all in preparation.
