Most people in the chariot team were resting, with only a few still on guard.

Scarred Man sneered, having felt uncertain before, but now that she revealed herself, his concerns vanished.
He had checked during the day, and there was no one in the chariot team he had to fear. Since this girl came from the chariot team, he could easily handle her!
Seemingly unaware of the mockery in his tone, Zhong Ningxue smiled brightly, saying in a sweet voice, “I hope you will surrender immediately and swear never to harass Li Xin Rou’s family again, and this matter can be forgotten!”
