Chapter 263. The Resource Supply Event is Sweet! (3)
After cutting off a few heads, the answer I wanted finally popped up.

Nothing else.
Originally, the purpose of exploring that thing was to investigate a time-limited instance dungeon, like the legacy of the Ancient Empire event, and slurp up the rewards.
And in this guy’s case, there were monsters in that dungeon.
Well, no need for a long explanation.
Originally, you were supposed to withstand the monsters’ attacks and carefully investigate the interior step by step.
Once it’s discovered and a little time passes, the nest expands, and the enemy numbers increase exponentially.
But this guy just mindlessly crushed the baby monsters before they could even expand.
**Comments:**
– [Lol]
– [But isn’t that a good thing?]
– [No, it’s bad. Mindlessly crushing it means you miss out on hibernation capsules or ancient tech data from the event.] (Author)
– [Nah, it’s not like the Lost Over Technology of the Ancient Empire. It’s just for selling as relics to space cities or other NPC factions later.]
– [Ah, I see.]
– [Yeah, this guy probably only got resources and nothing else.]

There were a lot of other comments below, but I already got the answers I needed, so I closed the post and nodded to myself.
“Good, very good.”
“What’s good, Commander?”
Jessica, who was busy transporting supplies from the Ultra-Ancient Wreck to the base, looked puzzled at my reaction. I shrugged my shoulders in response to her confusion and decided to change the subject by asking about the resources inside the wreck.
“By the way, Jessica, roughly how much lootable resources are inside that wreck?”
Hearing my question, Jessica perked up one of her rabbit ears and naturally showed me the tablet and hologram screen she was looking at, answering in a calm tone.
“According to the map data we’ve discovered so far, there’s about 50,000 minerals and 3,000 rare resources.”
“Hmm.”
“However, it seems these resources are only counted as ours once they’re transported into the Astral Base. The base’s Resource System isn’t recognizing them yet.”
“I see…”
I didn’t fully understand, but if Jessica said so, it must be true. I nodded at her words and looked out the command center window at the vast expanse of space. The massive Ultra-Ancient Wreck loomed in the distance, with assault shuttles and small shuttles busily transporting resources between the wreck and the base.
After answering me, Jessica was about to return to her tasks, but I called her back and ordered Cruiser Battleships No. 1 and 2, which were idly docked, to act as temporary transport ships. I instructed them to carry as many resources as possible in one trip.

As you can see from the user’s reply above, who was persuaded (?) by my negotiation (?), there won’t be any additional interesting events during the remaining six days as the massive wreck drifts away due to inertia.
During this time, I’ll just watch Jessica and the others gather resources and continue exploring the interior for anything useful.
– “Kieeeek! Kieeeek!!”
– “What is this thing saying?”
– “It says it doesn’t want to give birth to a monster’s child or something?”
– “…?”
I also spent some time watching those purple bald-headed guys suddenly enjoying “Professor Gryanarr’s Exciting Bio-Experiment (ver. Test Subject Edition)” in 4D.
If I ran out of things to do, I’d naturally start scrolling through the gallery or chat.
…You might wonder what a guy who’s supposed to be sharpening his sword for a base siege is doing, but it’s an event situation, so there’s hardly any player conflict.
Fleet power enhancement?
I’ve already maxed out the Fleet Points, so I can’t build any more ships.
At most, there are some neutral evil mobs popping up occasionally.
Like wild monsters or unaffiliated pirates… stuff like that?
But even these are being handled effortlessly because our forces have become ridiculously strong. Without me needing to control anything, the overpowered aircraft under Tiamat’s command, who’s been grinding levels, are shredding them.
Or, if not that, then the ultra-long-range missile attacks led by Hreðsvelgr are wiping out the naturally respawning mobs before they can even reach the base.
‘…This is oddly peaceful in a different way.’
For me, aside from managing the gallery, there really wasn’t much else to do.
But thankfully, unlike me, most users enjoyed taking their time with the events instead of rushing through them early on.
Just watching the users mess around was enough to make time fly by.
To give you a few examples…

Since my superhumans are handling the escort anyway, isn’t it okay for me to take a look around too?
I trust my superhumans ^^

Dammit, stop messing around
Even worse, my communicator got crushed between the door and broke

Some users, carelessly bringing superhumans along for exploration, ended up separated from them and were left filming their own real-time horror games.

Die, Clan Leader!
**Comments:**
– [What is this?]
– [Oh, I saw this earlier. Apparently, if you send superhumans and troops for ghost ship exploration, they handle it themselves.]
– [Some clan gathered their members (=Commanders) to explore on their own.]
– [LMAOOOO]
– [They’re throwing their own Clan Leader LOL]
– [“Long live the Clan Leader.”]

– [But doesn’t it still hurt?]
– [Probably hurts a lot.]

While users were trying to create their own atmosphere, gathering clan members to film adventure content, there were Clan Leaders being used as shields against beam cannons or bullets by their own members.

– [What LOL]
– [They’re really having fun with the game.]
– [The people involved don’t seem to be having much fun though.]
– [“We won’t do it, we swear we won’t!”]

Clan members ended up being hung in front of battering rams and smashed into doors by their Clan Leader.
Even aside from the in-game events, the users were creating their own events, so there was no time to be bored.
