“Pink.”
After satisfactorily finishing her bath and wearing a robe, Pink headed towards her room but turned her head towards the living room due to the strange atmosphere she felt.
Red, Green, and Yellow were sitting on the sofa, while Blue was standing. All of them were looking in one direction.
“What are you doing?”
Thinking something must have happened while she was bathing, Pink approached the members who didn’t react even after hearing her voice.
She noticed A kneeling on the floor behind the members sitting on the sofa.
“…What are you doing?”
Only when Pink came right beside them did the members regain their senses and turn to look at her. Their eyes then shifted back to A.
“I expected it, but I never thought she would bring this up at this moment.”
Red was strongly feeling the situation around A, having encountered Siera and clashed with Luche during a confrontation.
Though against the harem, Red gradually got used to the current atmosphere and somewhat predicted that what she thought would happen would come sooner or later.
“What’s going on?”
Unaware of the situation, Pink asked the members while looking at each one of them.
“That…”
Blue, standing next to her, briefly explained. A had proposed living together with everyone, and in the overall positive flow, brought up the topic of loving the opposite sex.
Upon hearing this, Pink burst out laughing.
“Haha! That’s not funny!”
Feeling frustrated, Red shouted, but she understood why Pink was laughing.
Pink had been the first to support A’s harem, and it was obvious she would continue to do so.
“I suspected something like this might happen. As expected.”
Even Pink, and the other members except Red, had somewhat anticipated A’s relationships with the women around her.
The atmosphere, eye contact, and tone of the four team leaders during the meeting at Yellow’s house. Each detail was infused with feelings toward A.
A hadn’t noticed, but the members saw every little detail of the other girls’ actions.
Since nothing immediate had happened, no one mentioned it. Moreover, there was an important mission ahead, and they expected this discussion to be postponed until later.
Suddenly, when A brought up Luche, all the girlfriends were taken aback.
“As long as it’s not Siera, I’m fine with anyone.”
Knowing that A had confessed her feelings to Luche, Pink could laugh more freely than the others.
Though Pink had shown clear hostility towards Siera during the mission, she didn’t feel bad about the other members. Most importantly, no one had said anything harsh to A or hurt her feelings.
“Why Siera?”
Surprised by the mention of Siera, A tilted her head, and Pink, who had been smiling broadly, suddenly stiffened.
The member most cautious about Siera was none other than Siera herself. Red had also talked about meeting Siera, which made her uneasy due to how long A had known Siera.
However, A couldn’t predict why Siera was being mentioned. Despite disliking Siera, Pink felt sympathy for her.
“For now, I’m in favor.”
Predicting that talking about Siera would lead to endless discussions, Pink expressed her approval of the current situation. The members, expecting this from Pink, weren’t surprised.
“How can you agree so easily?”
Even Yellow, who had been quietly sitting, was astonished and bewildered by Pink’s immediate agreement and questioned her.
“There’s only a difference of one or two people. Even if it increases, it will only go up to six or eight. Anything beyond that might be problematic, but within the range we know, it’s fine.”
The members knew that A had a total of nine females around her, including the girlfriends.
Pink showed no problem with up to eight, which surprised the members.
“When did anyone talk about it before acting?”
Everyone remembered the shock they felt when they suddenly learned that their teammates were dating.
They hadn’t realized that their Earth-based sense had faded, and they were thinking in terms of their own standards.
“Frankly, even if it increases, I won’t feel jealous.”
“That’s true.”
Red agreed, and everyone nodded.
Regardless of whether they supported or opposed the harem, no one felt jealous of A’s harem.
At first, they had competed for A, but jealousy only made sense when there were one or two rivals. Beyond that, jealousy felt meaningless, and they stopped feeling it altogether.
“But that doesn’t mean we should accept it.”
Red had reached a stage of accepting the harem, but he didn’t think that meant more people should join.
A hadn’t considered this and remained silent, kneeling on the floor.
“That’s true. I hope it doesn’t exceed double digits.”
Like Pink, Red also opposed the harem growing recklessly, though their standards differed.
“But within the range we know, I’m okay with it.”
Currently, there were nine females around A, including the girlfriends. Everyone present knew this, and A herself recognized that there were no other women around her besides the girlfriends and team leaders.
“Is there anyone else?”
Blue cautiously asked, wondering if there might be more women around A. Until now silent, A shook her head vigorously.
“No. There isn’t. Absolutely not. I don’t know why it expanded to nine, but there’s no other woman I know.”
A desperately tried to explain her situation, but her strong denial only deepened the girlfriends’ distrust.
“At first, I didn’t expect her to be so reckless.”
“You’re not the only one.”
Yellow agreed with Red’s statement, adding,
“I thought she was a crazy guy asking me to play games.”
Desperately denying it, A lowered her head again, seeing the cold expressions of the girlfriends. She knew any wrong word could cause an explosion.
“I don’t know. I keep thinking we should watch first. I don’t know why I think that.”
“Give up and it’ll be easier.”
Confused about why she felt this way despite recognizing the cognitive dissonance, Red was puzzled. Now accepting everything, Pink smiled and patted her shoulder.
“It must be nice to feel at ease.”
“It is. We’re very comfortable.”
Despite the sarcastic tone, Pink didn’t budge. Instead, Red, expressing complex emotions, sighed and agreed with Pink’s words.
The HunterKiller team was discussing the possible expansion of A’s harem, but it seemed the women who already had feelings for A were engaged in a fierce mental battle.
“I’ll prepare dinner.”
Standing and watching, Blue went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, followed by Green, who quietly responded, “Me too.”
“So, what’s the conclusion?”
“I don’t know. Let’s leave it to Older Brother.”
As the conversation ended, Red lay down on the sofa. Yellow resumed their game, and Pink stood quietly, observing A, who knelt on the floor.
When A tried to stand up, Pink smiled.
“Where are you going?”
“Excuse me?”
Stopping mid-action, A knelt down again, and Pink continued to smile.
“Though it’s fine, you still need to face the consequences.”
Even though she approved, Pink believed A needed to face the consequences of her actions. A couldn’t stand up.
“I’ll help Blue prepare dinner.”
Pink also went to the kitchen. Green, who had gone to the kitchen with Blue, returned to the sofa and quietly spoke to A.
“Hey, Older Brother.”
“Yes?”
“Blue said you won’t have dinner today.”
“…What?”
Even though they had lunch late with Luche, eating together with the girlfriends felt especially precious now.
For A, who had just returned home for dinner after spending time with Luche, this was shocking news. She turned her head to look at Blue in the kitchen, who was smiling and silently mouthing the words,
‘You need to face the consequences.’
Thus, A looked towards the void and had to skip dinner.
A bit earlier, in the Spacystro Seoul headquarters, after A and Luche left.
“Tsk.”
Siera clicked her tongue, regretting her action as she turned her head.
The moment she turned, Esmaralda and Angelique, who had been looking at the door, refocused on their tasks.
‘There’s nowhere I can let my guard down.’
It was clear that the atmosphere had changed dramatically compared to before.
The conference room was filled with discussions about the reports they had prepared, but today, their gazes kept colliding oddly.
Observing her chance, Siera felt she had been outmaneuvered by Luche. Seeing Esmaralda and Angelique, she wondered if she needed to be wary of them too.
‘What? What happened?’
Unaware of any emotional changes in the two, Siera acted casually and finished her report.
