Without delay, she shrank back into the bedding, leaving only her head poking out, looking at them and asking, “Do you need something?”

“Nothing’s wrong, no, wait, there is something.” Celia seemed a bit dazed, her response contradictory.

“If there’s something, just say it.”

Airael had a row of black lines suddenly forming on her forehead as she spoke.

Celia paused for a moment, then said, “Miss, mainly it’s because Aurora and I noticed you hadn’t risen, so we were a little worried.”

“I’m fine; thank you for your concern. If there’s nothing else, please leave!”

“Understood!”

Celia and Aurora hurriedly exited the room and closed the door behind them.

Once they were gone, Airael struggled to sit up from the bed.

Though Arthur had gone to bring her something to eat, it wouldn’t do to just stay in bed all day.

So, by the time Arthur returned with food, Airael was already dressed and waiting for him on the bed.

“You’re already up! I brought breakfast.”

Seeing what Arthur was carrying, Airael nodded.

The two then began their meal in the room.

After breakfast, Arthur basically spent the entire next day with Airael.

He didn’t need to worry too much about army matters for now.

Having Arthur around certainly lightened Airael’s mood.

Even though he didn’t intentionally try to cheer her up, Airael could feel he genuinely cared about her.

Compared to sweet talk, a sincere heart is simply unbeatable.

And right now, she didn’t need to think about too much; she just had to stay by Arthur’s side and focus on nurturing her child.

Thus, Arthur’s presence helped her achieve her goal more effectively.

According to the latest intel, Mork had returned to the Dark Elf army, now partnering with the Orcs to besiege Duke Komit and his men.
