Chapter 180

The next day, I woke up slowly, rubbing my eyes. The slight fatigue in my body felt incredibly pleasant. As I turned to look beside me, there was Si-ho, snuggled in my arms, making soft noises. Her hair was loose, and she looked unbearably adorable. I reached out and gently stroked her head, and she slowly opened her eyes.

“Brother Ha-chan,” Si-ho said, smiling softly at me before resting her forehead lightly against my chest.

“Si-ho, what should I do? I’m so happy,” she said, playfully rubbing her head against my chest. As I stroked her hair, she looked up at me with a slightly shy expression, her eyes sparkling.

“Want to kiss?” she asked.

I immediately lowered my head and kissed her. Si-ho’s eyes widened, and she giggled before lifting her head to kiss me again. Playing around with Si-ho in bed, I soon realized it was time to check out, so I got up.

As I was changing clothes, Si-ho, still in her underwear, looked up at me and smiled faintly.

“Brother Ha-chan, it feels like I’m seeing my husband off to work,” she said.

“I’ll be back,” I replied.

“Come back safely,” she said, laughing playfully before quickly getting dressed. We left the motel in the same outfits as yesterday. It was my first time doing something like this at a motel, and it felt strangely exciting.

Holding hands with Si-ho, we stepped outside. She seemed to be in an incredibly good mood.

“Si-ho, you might get pregnant, right?” she said, wrapping her arms around her stomach.

I froze for a moment. There was still a part of me inside her.

“It’s possible,” I said.

Hearing that, Si-ho rubbed her head against my arm with a happy expression. Why does everyone want to get pregnant so badly? I was grateful, but still…

At that moment, my phone started ringing. It felt like déjà vu. When I opened it, the call was from Ayu.

“Ayu?” I answered.

On the other end, I could hear what sounded like running.

“Brother Domi, I found her!” Ayu exclaimed.

My eyes widened. My sister had reappeared.

**Chapter 19 – The Dangerous Trap**

After receiving the call from Ayu, I flew quickly with Si-ho using Space Movement. It was fortunate that Si-ho was with me. Thanks to her, I didn’t have to take a long detour and soon found Ayu running.

“Ayu!” I called out.

“Ah, Oppa!” Ayu’s face lit up when she saw me, but then she noticed Si-ho and clicked her tongue, as if she had expected her to follow.

“Why did you have to come along?” Ayu asked.

“Since Si-ho is here, I could bring Brother Ha-chan,” Si-ho replied nonchalantly.

Watching Ayu and Si-ho bicker, I poked both of them in the sides. They flinched and stopped fighting. They both knew it wasn’t the time for that.

“Ayu, where’s my sister?” I asked.

Ayu turned her head forward. “I’ve been chasing her. She’s still within range, so we can keep following.”

If she was still within range, that was enough. I glanced at Ayu and Si-ho, and they exchanged looks before speaking.

“Give me the coordinates, and I’ll follow,” Ayu said.

“Got it,” Si-ho replied.

Thankfully, they cooperated well. At that moment, our vision shifted.

As I looked up, I saw a familiar face. Short black hair, golden eyes, and the same outfit she wore when she first appeared—my sister, Kang Mari.

She hadn’t expected us to appear right in front of her and quickly stopped in her tracks. Seeing that, I immediately activated my Aura and lunged forward.

It was a full-powered Aura output. Even my sister couldn’t react in time, and I grabbed her wrist.

My sister’s eyes shook violently as she looked at me. I called out to her desperately.

“…Sister.”

She looked at me, her lips trembling as if she had a lot to say.

“Let me talk to you,” I said.

Hearing my request, her eyes shook again. She then closed her eyes tightly and grabbed the wrist I was holding.

“I’m sorry. Not yet,” she said, her voice trembling.

Not yet? What did that mean?

As I was about to speak again, my vision suddenly shifted.

“Ugh?!” I realized I was flying through the air, spinning. Baeksan was looking at me with a pitiful expression.

“What are you doing?” he asked.

I had been holding onto my sister tightly, but somehow, I was thrown away.

“You can’t even control your Aura properly. That’s why this happened. Tsk tsk, losing focus just because it’s your sister,” he said.

I couldn’t deny it and quickly stabilized myself in the air using my Aura. Meanwhile, Ayu and Si-ho were coming toward me.

I could tell just how far I had been thrown in that brief moment.

“Brother Domi!” Ayu called out.

“Brother Ha-chan!” Si-ho shouted.

As they reached me, I quickly looked up.

“Ayu, Si-ho, where’s my sister?”

Ayu sighed and shook her head. It seemed she had taken advantage of the moment when I was distracted to escape.

I bit my lip in frustration. What was my sister up to? I had no idea. But there was no way to find her now. Even Seolhyang had been searching for her every day without success. I didn’t think we could catch her again.

“Ayu, how did you find my sister?” I asked.

Ayu scratched her head. “I just happened to be on my way to the World Returner Association for something and ran into her.”

“The World Returner Association?” I asked, puzzled.

Ayu nodded. “Yeah, it felt like she was coming from there. So I followed her and ended up here.”

Listening to Ayu, I tilted my head. What was my sister doing at the World Returner Association?

“Kang Ha-chan,” Baeksan suddenly spoke up. I turned to look at him, and he was glaring somewhere.

“Kang Mari might have gone to meet me,” he said.

To meet him? I immediately understood what he meant. My sister had gone to meet Heuksan.

After hearing from Baeksan that my sister had gone to meet Heuksan, we quickly flew to the Korean branch of the World Returner Association. Thanks to Si-ho’s Space Movement, we arrived easily. Si-ho was oddly cradling her stomach.

“What are you doing?” Ayu asked, looking at Si-ho in disbelief.

Si-ho glanced at Ayu. “I have to be careful. Si-ho might become a mom soon.”

“What, what, you, finally!” Ayu pointed at her, shouting.

Si-ho, now clinging to my arm, said, “Right, Brother Ha-chan?”

Knowing what I had done last night, I couldn’t say anything and just turned my head. Seeing this, Ayu’s eyes widened, and she ran over to grab my other arm.

“Me, me too! Let’s do it again now!” Ayu shouted, her face flustered.

I looked at the two of them with a complicated expression. How was I going to handle these two in the future?

‘They don’t seem to have a bad relationship, though.’

Ayu often got teased by Si-ho. Come to think of it, Ayu also got teased by Seolhyang a lot.

“How long are you three going to keep this up?” the Chairman said, standing at the entrance of the World Returner Association, looking at us with a tired expression.

“Husband,” she said.

“Uh, yeah,” I responded, flinching.

Seolhyang glanced at me and then spread her arms. “Hug me.”

Was she being cute? Even though Si-ho and Ayu were beside me, knowing how much Seolhyang had been through, I asked for their understanding and went to her.

I hugged her, and she leaned into my embrace. The sheer weight of her was always a new sensation.

“Haa, that feels better,” Seolhyang said, pulling away slightly. She then looked up at me. “All three of you, follow me. We have something to discuss.”

Seeing her serious expression, the three of us followed her without a word. When Seolhyang acted like this, it usually meant something major had happened.

Following her, we were led to a conference room. On the screen was a live feed of the Statue of Liberty, with the city behind it engulfed in flames. It looked like something out of a movie.

“This is live,” Seolhyang said.

Live? That was live? I stared in disbelief as Seolhyang rubbed her temples, looking troubled.

“This will probably hit the news soon. Each country is trying to contain the chaos, but there’s only so much they can do.”

“What’s going on?” I asked, still unable to believe what I was seeing.

Seolhyang turned to Joo Sung-min, who was operating the computer. He enlarged the screen, revealing a black, ominous creature wreaking havoc in the city.

People were dying, and chaos was everywhere. The scene was so horrifying that I instinctively frowned. Seolhyang had the screen turned off.

“It’s a Dimensional Being. Specifically, from the Heavenly Realm.”

“The Heavenly Realm?”

“Erebus has started to move. He’s using the mind-control powers of the Dimensional Being that the god Liu Shao possessed.”

The situation was beyond imagination.
