Princess Training Simulation) Why Viviana is a trash character

Long post warning.
I’ve seen the endings of Princess Training Simulation 50 times.
I consider myself a veteran, yep.
I’ve seen endings split between Viviana and Lillian.
From my perspective, Lillian is a hundred times better than Viviana.
Let me explain why.
Most of Viviana’s endings are bad endings.
If you kill too many enemies on the battlefield, she goes dark.
If more than three of her allies die, she goes dark.
Even if you bring peace to the empire, she feels empty and goes dark.
She falls like a dead fish, as if it’s just a routine.
I was initially drawn to her insane specs and played only Viviana at first, but I ended up becoming an unexpected collector of bad endings.
Viviana has a hidden corruption gauge in the game. It’s an official fact revealed by the company. It’s not displayed, but if you just focus on leveling up or making money without paying attention, the corruption gauge rises, leading to a bad ending.
Only players who pay close attention to the game’s settings would know this, but Viviana, who hates wasting time, has one hobby.
She loves playing the piano.
It’s the first time you see her smile when she plays the piano.
She’s a character who hates wasting time, so you wouldn’t expect her to have a hobby, but it’s mentioned in a hidden event in the mansion’s study.
If you consistently let her play the piano, you can lower the corruption gauge.
So, you might think, “Then there’s no problem, right?”
Of course, there is.
From a veteran’s perspective, there’s a set route, but because of this damn corruption gauge, you can’t efficiently grow the character. You have to play the piano every morning, every noon, and every evening, damn it lol.
And because of her closed-off personality, there’s no option to play the piano when people are around. You can only play it when she’s alone.
You can skip playing the piano for a day, but if you let your guard down even a little, it’s an instant bad ending.
It’s not like she’ll die if she doesn’t play the piano, but from a veteran’s perspective, it’s frustrating as hell.
It’s funny that Viviana, who has a sociopath concept, gets her healing gauge from this.
The game company claims there’s a route where you can resolve the corruption gauge without doing this every day, but after seeing 50 endings, I’ve never seen it.
It might just be a bluff.
Anyway, unless you’ve seen dozens of endings like me, I recommend choosing Lillian as the protagonist.
If you choose Lillian and endure the early game until her saint awakening, it’s smooth sailing from there. Don’t just be drawn to Viviana’s massive hexagon stats and end up seeing 8 consecutive bad endings like me. Just go with Lillian.
But damn, Viviana is more my type, so I’m going back to play Viviana lol.

– Honestly, if Viviana is more appealing, big recommend lol
– Agreed, are you just gonna abandon the cool beauty noona?
– Lillian is too naive, it’s annoying.
– I like the corruption route. Especially when I killed Lillian with my own hands, it felt great.
– Get out.
– But is that hidden route really there?
– Will someone figure it out?
– You?

Viviana.
So you had feelings for me too?
“Can I call you Viviana?”
“What did you say?”
I never thought about getting close to Viviana originally. If she were to fall, the person in the most danger would be her close associates, so there was no reason to get close.
But now, I wonder if that even matters. Above all, Viviana is the sole heir of one of the empire’s four ducal families. If I could gain her favor, the massive benefits and rewards would be clear.
‘What should I do?’
Should I try to seduce her?
They say knowing your enemy is half the battle, and Viviana is one of the people I know best in this world. I managed to seduce the villainess Mardian with just one piece of information, so what’s stopping me with Viviana?
Yes.
Alright.
Let’s make Viviana my ally.
I think I’ll need her help.
Mardian’s actions are crossing the line. I thought she’d just see me as a cute pet like everyone else, but the fact that she tried to kiss me shows how twisted her tendencies are.
To think there’s a homosexual in a romance novel setting, it’s shocking and absurd. The saying “All villainesses are crazy” seems to be true.
If Mardian tries something like that again, I have no way to stop her. I need someone to control her, and luckily, that person is right in front of me.
“Is it okay, Princess? I want to get closer to you.”
“Blanchard Young Lady. I thought I told you not to act coy.”
Perhaps because she knows my fake demeanor, the relaxed smile on Viviana’s face doesn’t fade easily.
What would I have done if she were my childhood friend?
We would’ve definitely formed a bond.
Then I’ll just do that.
“Please don’t lie in front of me. I can get pretty scary when I’m angry.”
Viviana places her hand on my cheek with a cool smile. My body shivers naturally at her unexpectedly cold palm.
I gently place my hand over hers on my cheek. Despite the calluses, her hand feels endlessly soft. As I keep playing with her hand, intertwining our fingers, Viviana frowns slightly.
“Young Lady, what are you doing…?”
“Your fingers are so slender yet firm. You must be really good at playing the piano!”
“…What?”
I don’t miss the slight tremor in Viviana’s eyes. My words seem to have shaken her quite a bit. I open my eyes wide and stare unwaveringly into her purple eyes.
“Young Lady, do I look like someone who has time to play the piano?”
“You don’t..? I just thought you’d look really elegant playing the piano. You’d be so beautiful with the sound of music.”
“….”
“Can’t you really play…? I really love the piano….”
I look up at Viviana with an intense, unwavering gaze. Under my gaze, Viviana uncomfortably averts her eyes and mutters softly.
“…I play a little when I have time.”
“Really? I’d love to hear it! I really love piano music, but there’s no one around to play it, so I haven’t been able to hear it for a while.”
“….”
“Is that… okay?”
I look up at Viviana with slightly drooping eyes. In the depths of Viviana’s unmoving purple eyes, various emotions are stirring.
“I see. So this is how you’ve been deceiving others.”
Viviana steps back with a twisted smile. Truly fitting for a protagonist. She doesn’t open her heart easily like others.
“I’m not deceiving you.”
As Viviana steps back, I step forward and close the distance. Taking advantage of her momentary hesitation, I grab her hand and pull her toward me.
With a look of false sincerity, I gaze up at Viviana and speak in a steady voice.
“I want to hear your music, Viviana.”
“….”
It wasn’t a lie. I need to hear Viviana’s music to get closer to her, so my desire to hear it is genuine. Sensing my sincerity, Viviana averts her gaze again and mutters softly.
“…I don’t play that well, so don’t get your hopes up-”
“No!”
Why is the so-called war god unable to meet my eyes? I persistently chase Viviana’s gaze until our eyes finally meet.
“You’ll shine just by touching the keys. I can guarantee it.”
“What do you know?”
“Well, you’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. I might fall for you just by seeing you sit on the piano bench.”
“….”
Viviana, who had been looking at me with a bewildered expression, hesitates for a long time before finally turning away with an annoyed frown.
“It’s getting late. Let’s talk about this another time.”
“Ah… okay. Got it.”
“…Hah.”
At my slightly deflated voice, Viviana tosses her head back and says curtly.
“I’ll play for you, so don’t be disappointed.”
With that, Viviana leaves.
Suddenly left alone in the garden.
I watch as Viviana completely disappears from sight and cover my twitching mouth with my hand.
Hehe-
