The first dungeon in Leore wasn’t particularly difficult, except for the last tank phase. There wasn’t any tricky mechanic like “if you don’t know, you’ll get punished,” so we cleared it on the first try without any issues.
“Wow… I just got chills,” Kang Hangeul said, his hands trembling as he clenched his fists tightly.
“That last tank phase was so exhilarating to block!”
During the second tank phase, it felt like a scene straight out of a manga—I was parrying continuously to protect everyone, while Kang Hangeul used his tank’s body to soak up the damage. On top of that, the tank and melee DPS held aggro while the ranged DPS [Mage] unleashed flashy spells.
It was definitely a different feeling compared to regular monsters or [Field Bosses]. Taking down a dungeon boss with overwhelming power that you can’t handle alone, while coordinating with your party, is just so much fun. Plus, since it’s a virtual world game, it feels like you’re really risking your life, making your heart race.
“Arang! That was amazing!” Pinkubelly praised me with a smile.
“Hahaha! Praise me more!”
“Yeah! You were super, super cool!”
“Arang, you’re truly incredible. I’ve never seen a Sword Master dish out DPS like that before. And that parry earlier? Absolutely amazing. Can I upload this to RyuTube?”
“Of course!”
Alright, now it’s time to check the loot. With excitement, I opened the menu as the alarm rang, and equipment items started pouring out.
A total of 10 pieces of equipment.
“Ah…”
“Uh…”
[Surprised emoticon]
As I read the descriptions of the equipment one by one, I realized why everyone in the party sighed. Not a single piece of equipment for the swordsman class dropped.
“What’s going on…?”
Even though there are many types of equipment, out of the 10 that dropped, not a single one was for my class.
“Ah, Arang, don’t worry. You’ll quickly graduate from the lower dungeons now. When you clear a dungeon, you’ll get at least one piece of equipment for your class in your inventory.”
Equipment consists of 7 slots: head, shoulders, chest, waist, legs, shoes, and weapon. Accessories include 2 rings, 2 earrings, and 1 necklace, totaling 5. Since I’m already wielding the near-endgame weapon, Tashim Sword, I need 11 more items. Meaning, if I’m unlucky… I might have to run this dungeon 11 more times…?
This creepy dungeon with squirming monsters…?
Ugh.

“Thank you for helping out today.”
I bowed my head to Kang Hangeul and Mozzawaper to express my gratitude. Without them, this thrilling dungeon run wouldn’t have been as fun.
“Not at all. Thanks to Arang, I found new enjoyment too. Today’s dungeon run was really fun.”
[Thumbs up emoticon]
[Next time, I won’t lose.]
Mozzawaper, who usually only uses emotes, actually typed out a message for the first time.
As the atmosphere started to wind down, I quickly spoke up.
“How about we go for round two to celebrate clearing the dungeon?”
“Round two?”
“Yeah, just to chat and hang out!”
Everyone agreed to my suggestion.
After ending the stream, we went to Kang Hangeul’s house in the game and ate in-game food while chatting. As we laughed and talked about what happened in the dungeon, the mood lifted. Then, Kang Hangeul focused his gaze on my arm.
I had taken off my armor costume and was dressed like a beginner player, wearing a short-sleeved shirt and shorts.
“If you don’t mind me asking, is there a reason you deliberately added those boundary lines on your arms and legs?”
I raised my arm at Kang Hangeul’s question. There was a faint boundary line where my arm ended. Below that line, the skin tone was slightly different from the upper arm.
The reason for this is simple.
It’s because the game automatically created arms and legs for parts that don’t exist in reality.
“Ah, this is—”
“Wait, hold on!”
Just as I was about to explain, Pinkubelly urgently interrupted me.
“This is a bit of a sensitive topic…”
“Customization is a sensitive topic…?”
“Huh? It’s not that sensitive, is it?”
“Arang!”
“Yeah?”
“Is it okay to talk about it…?”
“…Huh? Is it okay to talk about it?”
What’s going on? Pinkubelly is looking at me with sad eyes. Why…?
Let me think. Did I do something wrong to Pinkubelly? Did she not enjoy today’s offline meetup?
But we laughed and talked about Leore, ate bossam, and then parted ways… Hmm…
No. Right now, Pinkubelly thinks it’s hard for me to talk about these boundary lines.
Hmm… She probably thinks it’s hard because I don’t have limbs in real life, right?
It’s true that people without limbs might feel sad, uncomfortable, and find the world depressing.
And Arang felt that way too.
But I’m different. Maybe it’s because this isn’t my original body, or maybe I haven’t fully accepted this situation as reality yet.
When I leave Leore and wake up in the hospital room, my emotions are overwhelmed by Arang’s, and I feel depressed.
But those aren’t my emotions, they’re Arang’s…
Wait. I *am* Arang. So, uh… I don’t know. Thinking this deeply is something I usually do when preparing for a game raid.
So what if I don’t have limbs? I have perfectly fine ones here.
Sure, it’s uncomfortable and tough in real life, but since I spend most of my time in the virtual world, I don’t think about it much.
Pinkubelly was one of the first to know me, aside from my family, and she saw me today too.
Just like my parents and Anna think I’m suffering even when I’m fine, Pinkubelly seems to be mistaken that I’m struggling.
But no, I’m really happy…
I’ve spent my whole life sitting in front of a computer, clicking away on a small monitor with a mouse and keyboard, and now I’m playing a virtual world game that feels just like reality.
How can I *not* be happy when I’m playing the kind of virtual world game I’ve only seen in movies, comics, novels, and anime?
It doesn’t even look like CG—it feels like I’m really moving my body in this world, like I’ve been reincarnated here!
The gamer’s soul is on fire!
“Arang… are you okay?”
“Arang… are you alright?”
“Ah, I’m fine. I was just thinking for a moment. Pinkubelly, don’t worry! I’m in the best mood after clearing the dungeon today!”
“Ah…”
Not hearing Pinkubelly’s sigh, I explained to Kang Hangeul and Mozzawaper that the boundary lines were due to Leore’s customization system for those without limbs.
“I don’t have limbs, so it ended up like this.”
Upon hearing this, Kang Hangeul and Mozzawaper said…
“Ah, I see. That’s a setting, huh? Leore definitely has people with unique concepts like that. Arang, you’re 15, right? Still at that middle schooler age.”
[Now I believe Arang is 15. So cute…]
“Huh?”
Suddenly, I became a middle schooler with chuunibyou.

[Middle Schooler Arang’s Underground Dungeon Clear Meter] [213]
(Photo)
This is the meter from the underground dungeon run with Kang Hangeul. Are my eyes deceiving me? The Sword Master out-DPSed the Mage.
Not that the Mage did poorly. Looking at the Leore logs, Mozzawaper was a solid DPS. He performed well in this dungeon too.
Our middle schooler Arang’s meter is just weird. Look at this.
The Sword Master is way higher than the top DPS in the underground dungeon.
Is this the same middle schooler who soloed the Orc Chieftain?
[??? Is that really a Sword Master? Is it a hack?]
ㄴ[Still on about hacks? It’s not a hack.]
ㄴ[But have you ever seen a meter like that?]
[Is the balance for real? How is a Sword Master pulling that much DPS?]
ㄴ[Who would even bring a Mage with no party synergy when you have a Sword Master who boosts the whole party’s stats and out-DPSes the Mage?]
ㄴ[LOL, seriously, who wouldn’t bring a Sword Master who boosts the whole party and out-DPSes the Mage?]
[Is the clear time even accurate? It’s 5th place, and the equipment is only level 60. How does that make sense?]
ㄴ[If you adjust for dungeon level scaling, they could easily take 1st place.]

[Giant Worm 2x Tank Phase Without Invincibility Skills] [375]
(Video)
This is a video of handling the 2x tank phase without using invincibility skills, using parries and defense skills instead.
It’s insane. Who even thinks of alternating parries and tanking hits to survive? LOL.
[You can get through that without invincibility skills?]
ㄴ[You can just click invincibility skills to get through, so no one thought of doing it another way.]
[Why make it so hard when you can just click?]
ㄴ[It’s romantic~ Let’s have a drink!]
[LOL, it’s crazy. The DPS isn’t dying even while tanking hits.]
[But with parries like that, Vengeance must be proccing like crazy.]
ㄴ[If you watch the whole dungeon run, they were parrying consistently.]

[Middle Schooler Arang’s Limb Customization] [34]
(Friend’s Screenshot)
One of my friends lost an arm in a car accident, and their customization has boundary lines like Arang’s.
So, looking at the customization in Arang’s video:

You can see that the boundary lines near the shoulders and inner thighs are exactly the same as my friend’s.
Meaning, it’s not just a customization change—it’s a phenomenon that occurs when Leore creates parts of the body that don’t exist.
[So, Arang has no limbs in real life?]
ㄴ[Watch your words, it’s risky since it’s her real name.]
[A 15-year-old with no limbs? That’s nonsense. You can make that with customization.]
ㄴ[Yeah, I just bought a customization change ticket and tried it. It’s possible.]
[She’s 15~ Still has that middle schooler chuunibyou. LOL.]
ㄴ[Just look at her equipment. Black armor with a white cape? For real? LOL.]
ㄴ[LOL, her costume is full of chuunibyou.]
[From now on, she’s not Middle Schooler Arang, but Chuunibyou Arang.]
[Chuunibyou Arang the Sword Master LOL. Her chuunibyou is serious.]
