Arang.
Suddenly appearing in Leore, she became a user so well-known that almost no one in Leore doesn’t know her now.
And now, that Arang has appeared as a Field Boss.
[Somewhere in the cracks of the Perde Continent, the 5th World Apostle threatening the world has appeared.]
As soon as it hit 08:00 Korean time, a notice in Leore informed all max-level users of Arang’s location.
The Reina party, arriving faster than anyone else with a different strategy.
Arang, floating calmly in the split sky, watching the Reina party.
The once reliable and dependable Arang, now a Field Boss, exuded an overwhelming presence.
Just like when Disnier appeared, a crack formed in the sky, and a mysterious sticky black liquid flowed out, with Arang standing against it.
“Ugh… this is so different from what I expected.”
“Right. I thought Arang would just be standing in the field. Leore really put in a lot of effort, huh?”
“She looks like a demon now. She’s become similar to the deceased Artamin Arang.”
“That Arang was scary too… but this Arang is even scarier?”
The Mea’d party members, their eyes fixed on Arang, now a Field Boss, chatting away.
“By the way, is that the 5th World Apostle outfit? What kind of outfit is that? It’s pretty though.”
“Isn’t that gothic lolita? The Leore design team really went all out with their tastes, huh?”
“Right. That’s the kind of design our princess would love.”
“Kuku, true. Thinking about it, our princess really loves cute costumes like that. But she’s so quiet? Usually, she’d go crazy seeing something like that and—”

Before the party members could finish, Reina was already running around outside the red circle, the designated area for the Field Boss, frantically taking screenshots. The party members laughed, saying, “Well, that’s Reina for you.”
“Phew… as expected of Arang.”
“Did you get enough screenshots?”
“Not quite, but if we wait any longer, other parties might arrive and start, so we’ll have to stop here.”
“You still think it’s not enough after all that…?”
“Everyone, get ready.”
The Mea’d party, currently the strongest in Leore, formed up around Reina.
In front of them was Arang, now a Field Boss with the highest specs in Leore.
This was different from any Field Boss they’d faced before. If they treated her like a normal Field Boss, they’d be wiped out for sure.
“Buff and potion check.”
But Reina and the Mea’d party had no intention of being wiped out.
They knew exactly how strong Arang was and had plenty of information about her.
“We’ll proceed with the A strategy we discussed earlier.”
Even with Field Boss specs, she’s not a Raid Boss.
This 5th World Knight and Arang Field Boss have pre-delay, post-delay, and stun mechanics, just like player users.
That 5th World Knight was eventually defeated by the Ensidara party’s strategy.
No matter how strong Arang’s physical abilities are, it’s still a human vs. human fight.
As Reina and the Mea’d party entered the red circle, Arang slightly raised her head, looked down, and smirked.
“Reina unnie, you’re finally here. As expected, Mea’d is the first?”
Seeing the fully buffed and geared Mea’d party members, Arang smiled, sending a slight chill down their spines.
“Don’t hesitate because it’s Arang! Let’s go!”
As Reina raised her staff, a Mea’d party member suddenly appeared behind Arang.
The user, holding a dagger, had been hiding and waiting.
Reina’s loud shout drew Arang’s attention to the charging Mea’d party members and their ranged attacks, making her miss the assassin.
Just as the dagger was about to touch Arang’s neck, she struck the assassin’s wrist with her left hand, not even looking back.
The dagger’s trajectory shifted, and the skill’s glowing impact disappeared.
Without even looking back, Arang began parrying the attacks coming at her.
A crisp sound echoed across the field.
She didn’t parry every attack, but with her upgraded Field Boss specs, she took no damage.
“Look at her HP? It’s ridiculously high, isn’t it?”
Even with the latest Field Boss specs, the attacks from top-tier users only chipped away at her HP percentage, but her actual HP bar didn’t budge.
Arang parried the ranged attacks with her Tashim Sword and charged at the tank in front of her with the Sword Master’s charge skill [Convergence].
Thud!!!
“Ugh!?”
Even with his shield up, the Knight user took damage and was pushed back.
If he were alone, he’d be dead, but the Mea’d party had 20 members.
And they were the long-reigning strongest party in Leore.
But Arang was completely different from any Raid Boss, Field Boss, or Hunt Boss they’d faced before.
Bosses don’t usually parry.
They don’t block player attacks, but Arang was different.
Out of the 20 members, 5 were ranged attackers. 90% of their attacks were parried by Arang.
The melee DPS and tanks weren’t idle either.
Surrounding Arang, her smile never faded. And for good reason.
Even Arang couldn’t parry every attack, but she quickly identified the strongest threats and parried them with insane precision.
‘As expected of Arang. Her physical abilities combined with Boss specs are just insane.’
Parrying requires Stamina.
Perfect parries don’t drain much Stamina, but without stopping, it doesn’t recharge.
There’s a limit to how long you can keep parrying, but Arang showed no such limit.
‘But even with Boss specs, Arang is still human, not AI.’
The assassin user, quietly gathering strength, charged at Arang.
With the melee DPS making a racket in front, Arang’s attention was diverted.
The assassin activated a max-level skill and took all buff potions for a critical strike.
A powerful attack that could chunk even a Raid Boss’s HP, aimed at Arang’s neck—
‘Dangerous…!’
The assassin instinctively ducked.
Arang’s Tashim Sword, glowing with a sinister red light, passed right above his head.
A moment later, and he’d have been dead.
Instead, his attack landed on Arang’s waist.
Boom!!!
Arang staggered from the explosive damage.
The Mea’d party didn’t miss the chance.
As they pressed their advantage, a red light erupted from Arang’s body, sending the surrounding Mea’d party members flying.
Boom!!!
“AOE knockback. Is that a skill a Field Boss can use?”
Reina had honestly expected such a skill.
A Boss with pre-delay, post-delay, and stun mechanics would inevitably fall to infinite stun locks if it were just AI.
Arang had been holding out with insane physical abilities, but if she were just a top-tier user, she’d have been stun-locked and dead in under a minute.
With distance now between Arang and the Mea’d party, everyone paused.
Arang’s current state clearly indicated she was transitioning to the next phase.
The sky was anything but normal.
“Phew… as expected of Reina unnie and the Mea’d party. Should I start getting serious now?”
Arang brushed her bangs back with her left hand.
“That’s what she’s planning to do.”
“That? What are you talking about?”
Reina’s words made the party members tilt their heads in confusion, while Emma, Echo, and Vision swallowed hard.
“Hyper Sense.”
“Hyper Sense? What’s that? You’re talking like it’s some superpower.”
“By my standards, it is a superpower.”
“Huh?”
“That’s why I said Arang’s physical abilities are monstrous.”
Having enjoyed Hunts and various content with Arang, Reina, Emma, Echo, and Vision knew about Arang’s Hyper Sense.
During a previous Hunt, when Arang closed her eyes, dodged the Boss’s attacks, countered mechanics, and attacked the Boss in a way no human could, they had asked her how she did it.
Arang had said she called it Hyper Sense, focusing her mind to awaken her senses one by one.
Her reflexes and all her senses would become incredibly sharp, making it possible.
Reina had been speechless but had to admit it after seeing it firsthand.
The problem was—
“Are you saying you’ve been holding back until now…?”
“Plus, when you become a Boss, it’s not just your stats that increase. You can also use the skills the Boss had. Like the skill I just used.”
As soon as Arang finished speaking, her eyes began to turn black.
Like Artamin Arang, her eyes became inverted, and a red aura flowed over her body.
She looked like a demon.
“Everyone, be prepared. I won’t hold back just because we were comrades. I’ll kill you all.”
