“Give up.”
After losing to the field boss several times on my own, I realized that I couldn’t clear it solo.
I collapsed right there at the resurrection point of the 5th World.
Even though the 5th World’s infected zone had a soft, jelly-like floor, which was somewhat familiar after the bug-filled floor from the previous Abyss Raid, I’d grown used to such things.
While rocking my body back and forth on the squishy ground, I thought about that field boss—it was exactly like me. Not in appearance, but in combat style.
The attack patterns, types, directions, and control—all of it was identical to mine.
It was as if I were fighting myself, differing only in form.
“How is this possible? It’s not just similar; even the habits are the same.”
Moreover, the habit of adjusting the right shoulder before attacking was exactly the same.
It was like seeing myself over there. The problem was that because it was just like me, I couldn’t win.
Fundamentally, the difference in physique was overwhelming, leading to differences in range. Since it was a field boss, its HP, base attack power, and strength were unmatched, so no winning strategy was visible.
Even though my parrying and the boss’s parrying were the same, due to the disparity in size and the boss’s strength, the more we fought, the more disadvantageous it became for me.
“Ahh, Arang, are you okay?”
Worried that I hadn’t come, Baedeokgae appeared at the resurrection point.
“Yeah, but this thing is weird.”
“Sister Arang felt the same way.”
“How can it be so much like me? The bosses I faced during the raid before were just like fighting an AI, but this field boss feels like my mind is trapped inside it.”
“Shall we try taking it down together?”
“Yeah, that sounds good. I can’t do it alone.”
If we had the same physical conditions, it might have been worth trying, but since that wasn’t the case, there was no way to win.
If I had Arang’s physique and was back in my old male body, it would probably feel like this.
Even though I’m now known as one of the best users in Leo-re, I couldn’t defeat this thing in my current state.

“Main tank is the Great Sword User Uncle. Main dealer is Grimreaper Baedeokgae. Joker dealer is me, the Soma. Healer is Sister Yesol.”
I was about to brief everyone on what I’d experienced while fighting the field boss one-on-one when Sister Yesol cautiously raised her hand.
“Eh… Ah, Arang?”
“Yeah?”
Her hesitant expression reminded me of Pinkubelly, but she seemed even less confident.
“I don’t really have much experience with this kind of thing…”
“Don’t worry. It’s no different from a dungeon.”
“Different from a dungeon?! A field boss is content designed for many players to tackle together, far harder than hunts. Trying it with just four people…! We should call Pinkuberry who’s better than me!”
“Nah, it’s fine, it’s fine. Sister, let’s do a high-five.”
“Eh? Oh, okay.”
Clap—
The sound of our hands clapping echoed brightly.
“Now you’ll do great. You’ve got both your arms, don’t you?”
“…Huh? Is that right?”
“As long as you’ve got two arms and two legs, there’s nothing to worry about. Let’s go!”
“Eh?!”
I grabbed Sister Yesol’s hand and charged straight toward the field boss.
“Hyyyyaaaah!”

[Breaking News: Field Boss Found!]
(A screenshot of the Knight field boss standing)
(A screenshot of Arang fighting the field boss one-on-one)
(Yesol’s broadcast link)
Our princess is heading straight to fight the field boss one-on-one lol.
By the way, it seems Yesol has joined the princess’s guild. She might become an exclusive streamer for Munchkin Cat?
[Comments]
-Wow? A field boss? It was found sooner than expected?
-Just a moment, exclusive streamer? Does that mean Princess will appear often on broadcasts? Finally?
-I’m not sure. From what I’ve heard, it’s similar to how she occasionally appeared on Strong Hangeul’s broadcasts, but she’ll be active as a streamer under the Munchkin Cat guild.
-But can anyone defeat a field boss one-on-one?
-Arang might be able to lol.
-They’re doing it right now, and Arang has died five times consecutively.
-What? Arang is losing?
-Well, the idea of defeating a field boss one-on-one is absurd lol.
-Arang might actually be capable of it lol.
-Lol, yeah, but Arang gave up on solo clearing ever since the spider incident.
[Field Boss Info]
Arang is currently battling the field boss one-on-one, so I’ll share only the confirmed information.
(A screenshot showing the field boss using Sword Master skills)
(A screenshot showing the field boss parrying)
As you can see from the screenshots, although it’s called a field boss, think of it as a user with field-boss level stats.
It uses skills and also employs parrying.
Judging by the monster’s name and skill usage, it seems to be based on the concept of a Sword Master Knight, but it appears to have fallen into corruption after infection.
(A screenshot showing the field boss attacking wildly)
You can see that unlike having set patterns, this boss adapts to the situation and attacks accordingly—a crazy boss.
[Comments]
-??? Are they insane? Did they create something impossible to beat?
-If around twenty people gang up, it should break easily.
-Field bosses are meant to be tackled by groups of twenty, so it’s strange that people like Arang try to take them down alone or with fewer than four members lol.
-If the boss uses skills and parries, what are melee users supposed to do? lol
-As long as the tank holds the aggro tightly, it should be fine, right?
[Field Boss = Arang?]
Arang claims that the field boss’s actions, patterns, and habits are all identical to hers—what does that mean?
[Comments]
-??
-I have no idea either.
[Field Boss Lacks Aggro Management wtf lol]
(A screenshot showing the field boss ignoring Strong Hangeul and attacking Baedeokgae)
(A screenshot showing the field boss suddenly rushing to attack Yesol)
Haha, are these guys crazy? Or does the field boss lack any concept of aggro? Why even have a tank then?
[Comments]
-What? How do ranged players handle this?
-Haha, is this real? Now they’re saying the boss doesn’t have aggro management?
-So how do we plan to tackle this?
-Maybe each dealer needs a tank nearby to protect them?
-Tanks should definitely be Knights, right? They need to protect the ranged players.
-This feels too forced for Knights.
[Field Boss = Arang Evidence]
After hearing Arang say the field boss resembles her, I carefully examined Yesol’s broadcast and gathered some proof.
(Arang using [Square Quadruple])
(The field boss using [Square Quadruple])
(Another user using [Square Quadruple])
As you can see, Arang never uses combat adjustments, so her unique [Square Quadruple] stands out.
Looking below, you’ll notice other users’ [Square Quadruple] differs entirely from Arang’s distinct attack pattern.
Yet, the field boss mimics it perfectly.
(Arang slightly raising her right shoulder higher than her left in a screenshot)
(The field boss similarly raising its right shoulder higher than its left in a screenshot)
There are many examples, but Arang has a specific habit of slightly lifting her right shoulder whenever she performs certain attacks.
This is something Arang mentioned herself. Interestingly, the field boss lifts its right shoulder at the exact same timing as Arang.
It’s almost like looking into a mirror.
[Comments]
-What? Is Leo-re copying Arang’s data?
-This is giving me serious chills.
-Though there are parts it doesn’t perfectly replicate. It seems more like learning rather than outright copying?
-Learning? Are the monsters learning from Arang’s data?
-That’s correct. I was doing a side quest and learned that these infected creatures learn data by consuming other organisms.
-Consumption is required, right? Has Arang ever been consumed?
-True, I’m not sure about that. But in my opinion, it’s learning rather than copying.

“Kyaaak!?”
Startled by the sudden charge of the field boss, Yesol hastily moved backward but tripped, causing her view to shift upward toward the sky.
“Uh oh…”
In her haste to move, she stumbled and fell.
She quickly tried to get up, but the field boss’s sword was already looming in front of her eyes, forcing her to shut them tightly.
BOOM!!!
“Guh…”
“Ga, Strong Hangeul!”
“Quick, get up!”
Amidst the chaotic shifts in aggro, Strong Hangeul, with the least mobility, was the busiest during this battle against the field boss.
Even though the field boss had suddenly targeted Yesol despite attacking him moments before, as a Great Sword User with only one dash ability, keeping up with the constantly moving field boss proved difficult.
However, his dash cooldown had just reset, allowing him to barely block the field boss’s attack aimed at Yesol in time.
WHOOSH!
“Ugh…”
Even for a tank, blocking the field boss’s attacks alone was tough.
The damage and weight from the boss’s attack caused Strong Hangeul’s knees to hit the ground.
“Not again! What kind of ridiculous force is this…? I have to hold on… Just a little longer!”
Meanwhile, Yesol continuously healed Strong Hangeul’s rapidly depleting HP while retreating.
“Now!”
Strong Hangeul shouted toward Arang and Baedeokgae approaching from behind the field boss, unleashing the Great Sword User’s crowd control ability on the field boss.
