Clones were steadily sent to the mines for mining. Special materials obtained by defeating monsters in deep areas. And if necessary, I had the means to buy materials on the spot through the system.
All these efforts pay off immensely when standing at the crafting table. The convenience of being able to purchase materials on the spot combined with accumulated resources creates great advantages.
This anticipation brings a small happiness – the hope that I might be able to create just about anything. Alongside this, the game I used to enjoy has become reality, changing many things compared to before. I expected the crafted items to naturally differ as well, and those expectations are fulfilled in reality.
Through hard work, I’ve managed to use ether orichalcum or higher enchantment alloys as the base material for all equipment. Magic enchantments are possible on completed items. Though untested yet, I feel confident my abilities could produce decent gear with some trial and error. Even if not perfect, the resulting equipment will definitely be significantly better than current ones.
With family equipment renewal in mind, I put extra effort into creating complete sets. Too bad I didn’t learn alchemy – it would have allowed enhancing material resistances with potions. Lacking that knowledge, I settle for using quality materials instead.
First to check are the named item list – special items requiring same materials but offering superior performance and abilities. Currently, Anne and Evangelin’s necklaces fall into this category.
Given the vast number of items I possess, there are quite a few named options available. While some lists remain locked due to nearly impossible requirements, I don’t bother with those.
What I need is a set specifically resisting certain phenomena. While universal adaptability would be nice, it’s not the priority now. Scanning the named list slowly for suitable options, though I’m prepared to craft one myself if needed.
There are amusing names referencing myths, legends, and deities. Like Mjolnir – which actually can be crafted, though there’s no pressing need.
Anyway, customization is possible through magic enchantments and metal properties during creation. Some abilities can be adjusted to taste.
The issue lies with fog – determining what exactly resists or interferes with its mysterious nature is unclear. Still calculating mentally.
“Would magic resistance suffice?”
Muttering this while focusing on relevant content.
Life Enhancement.
Death Extension.
Immunity Generation.
Space Block.
Special abilities unique to named equipment dazzle me.
Then my eyes catch Space Block – creating an impenetrable area around the user powered by mana. Both physical and magical attacks can be defended against, though it consumes significant mana. Instinctively, I feel this would work well against fog.
“Aaru”
The name of accessory-type named equipment with Space Block ability. Can be crafted as necklace or ring, also known as Eternal Reed Field. While the latter’s meaning is unclear, I only need the space blocking ability.
Starting crafting immediately:
Needed gemstones.
Various monster materials.
Enchanted ether alloy.
After combining ingredients and completing magic enchantment, a brownish glowing ring emerges after 3 hours of effort.
[Aaru]
Lv.112
Regeneration Amplification +5
All Resistance +4
Mana +4
All Skills +1
“Space Block” – Occupies space forcibly depending on mana consumption.
Equipping the ring immediately boosts vitality and skill levels, enhancing mana flow noticeably. The ring on my finger fills me with pride despite heavy material costs.
Most importantly, testing against fog proves successful. The barrier prevents fog from penetrating, though mana consumption is noticeable and accumulates significantly. This means either preparing mana recovery methods or resolving issues quickly when visiting the floating island.
“Thank goodness.”
With one problem solved, next comes weapons. My current flame sword, while romantic, lacks efficiency compared to what I can make now.
Reviewing various legendary swords:
Gram.
Levatein.
Varisada.
Chandrahas.
Seven Star Piercing Moon Sword.
Clau Solas.
Invincible Sword God.
Thunder Sword.
Fire Magic Sword.
Space Cutting Magic Sword.
Moon Sword.
Evil Slaying Sword.
Many options confuse me, though none particularly attract me. The closest is an all-cutting weapon, but disappointingly shaped like a scythe.
Then I encounter “Huehr” – an ordinary sword with the property of never breaking. Perfect for my needs since I plan to use it as a sturdy weapon rather than something flashy.
Without hesitation, I begin crafting Huehr, focusing on durability and unbreakability.
[Huehr]
Lv.117
Mana Regeneration +5
Combat Continuation +4
Combat +4
Physical Ability +2
“Indestructible” – Never breaks in combat situations.
The plain-looking blade feels efficient upon wielding, accelerating mana flow and enhancing combat knowledge subtly without discomfort. A tangible sense of becoming stronger fills me.
Weapon changes are immediate, and the Indestructible property pleases me greatly. Though sword breakage hasn’t been an issue, preparation is always wise. Compared to flamethrower or lightning swords, Huehr suits me better.
Following this, I continue crafting equipment until evening. Only two level 110+ items emerged, but all others exceed level 100, completely replacing old gear.
Equipped with shining new armaments, I feel confident facing dragons or sword masters. Though still below fairy king level, this power should suffice against typical floating island threats.
“Abba!”
Yul approaches cutely after noticing my late-night crafting.
“Haven’t you eaten dinner yet?”
“Yes, let’s go eat.”
“Okay!”
The sky turns deep blue mixed with faint crimson as sunset scenery greets us while heading home.
Upon entering, a rich meat aroma greets me – always comforting. Especially delicious with Evangelin’s cooking buffs.
“Looks like you’ve been very busy today?”
“Yeah, somewhat.”
It was indeed a packed day. Collecting information about the floating island and preparing countermeasures all happened within one day.
Casual dinner conversation eases accumulated fatigue.
After finishing main course and enjoying dessert together, I quietly take out six identical bracelets.
Named “Harmonyia”, they enhance youth, beauty, skin regeneration, and aesthetics. Having provided plenty of protective equipment, I decided to prepare something cosmetic for the family.
“Everyone, gather please.”
“What is it?”
“These bracelets enhance beauty and improve skin with prolonged use…”
“Really?”
Anne reacts enthusiastically alongside Yul and Evangelin showing interest.
“Yes, made them for all our family members. Please wear one each.”
“Wow!!”
Anne immediately puts hers on and checks her reflection.
“My skin really looks better!”
“It improves over time.”
“Thank you!!”
Anne hugs me before passing the bracelet to Evangelin.
“Thank you. I’ll wear it always.”
Her simple yet heartfelt response perfectly reflects Evangelin’s character.
“Does Yuri look pretty too?”
Already wearing hers, Yuri smiles happily. We all naturally compliment her cute appearance.
Jack receives his bracelet next, quietly bowing in gratitude. His shy demeanor shows he’s still adjusting to verbal communication.
Finally, Suri. Though puzzled, I place the bracelet around her neck like a necklace – close enough.
“Please wear it always, alright?”
“Pii!”
Apparently grateful for receiving something from me, Suri rubs against my cheek adorably. I gently pet her in response.
Our family of six – possibly eight in future but currently six – now shares another small memory through these bracelets. Fittingly, mine completes the set.
Looking at it, I smile softly. Concerns about the floating island or returning to Earth feel secondary now, reaffirming priorities once again.
