Chapter 15

There was a little incident with a teacup being knocked over, but it was quickly brushed aside. I hoped Rod would catch on, but it seemed like it would take a while.

After that, we headed outside to sort out a meal. Rod claimed he wasn’t confident in his cooking skills or something like that.

He could cook, but it was only good enough for filling our stomachs, nothing fancy. Living like a savage had its downsides, you see.

*Gulp-gulp-gulp…*

“Slow down. No one’s going to snatch it away from you.”

What can you do when it’s delicious? I just let Rod’s words slide in one ear and focused on my meal.

Right now, I was having lunch at the academy’s restaurant. If you think about it, can you call this a learning experience?

For cafeteria food, it was quite delicious and, most importantly, buffet-style. Thanks to that, I could eat my fill.

“…What’s that person? Eating like they’ve been starving for days.”

“Shhh. Keep it down. The principal is right next to us.”

“Why is the principal with that person? Weren’t they with the top student earlier?”

While I was sitting at the table munching on my food, I could hear whispers floating around.

The combination of the academy’s principal and some stranger. It’s a weird pairing that surely attracts attention.

I paid no mind and busily moved my hands. I was already quite hungry after sparring with Porori.

I occasionally used a knife and fork, but mostly ate with my hands.

Maybe that’s why the looks from the people around me weren’t very pleasant. Rod just chuckled and watched.
