Zhang Chuqiao opened her eyes and found herself in a strange world.

The snow piled deeper, and the wind grew heavier, making each step exceedingly difficult.

Suddenly, her foot slipped, and just as she was about to fall, she tumbled into a warm embrace.
“I caught you.”
Zhou Tong smiled, his face and hair covered in ice crystals.
“I caught you first; you finally found me!”
Zhang Chuqiao looked at him with affectionate eyes, realizing that blood, fire, wind, and snow were merely superficial.
What was truly terrifying were the invasions of the past; she could not comprehend the trials Zhou Tong had endured.

She called out tenderly, reaching to brush the ice crystals from his face.
