Chapter Thirty-Two: The Powerful Miracle
“Mr. Great Adventure, who lost his love, I, CureHeart, will definitely retrieve your heartbeat!”
“Mana… It’s not a Selfish Beast, it’s a robot; how could it possibly have a heart?”
While having a signature catchphrase as a Pretty Cure is a traditional virtue, reciting lines at the wrong moment can be inappropriate. Hearing such absurd statements about reclaiming a robot’s heartbeat when facing Love, Rikka couldn’t help but start to criticize her childhood friend.
“Then, let’s give it back its heart that it never had in the first place!”
But regardless of the criticism, Love was not showing any signs of reflection—it only excited her more. The CureHeart, now shining with gold particles from Oozumi Studio, increasingly overlapped with the image of the “Happy Prince” in Rikka’s mind.
“Hold on, say it in human-understandable language!”
“Oh, maybe Mana is referring to the robot’s circuit board.”
Arisu, smiling with half-closed eyes, also made her own guess.
“What are you all talking about?”
True to her words, Makoto just woke up from suddenly transforming and becoming stronger but found herself somewhat unable to keep up with the conversation.
What’s this feeling that I’m the only one falling behind?
“All right, to show Regina and Mr. Ash our determination, let’s all go together!” Facing the Great Adventure beginning to rise from the ground, Love shouted to everyone, clenching her fist tightly.
With this power…
“Now, it should work!”
[Dark Evolver] (Status: ???)
The Dark Evolver, which still radiated dark energy, was now lying lifelessly in Ash’s hands, losing its luster and turning into plastic, no different from the B Company’s DX toy. No matter how much Ash shook it, there was no reaction.
“There’s no response.”
Of course, there was none. The Dark Evolver was never designed to answer questions.
Seeing that this thing was beyond repair, regretting breaking another transformation device, Ash put it back in his inventory and concentrated on the fighting below.
“Even though it was broken from the start, it had some power left. But then… tch.”
Beneath the sparkling light, he saw the girls’ pure joy clearly on their faces. He lightly tutted, deciding to make a note of it.
Though he didn’t know whose light it was, if it certainly wasn’t Zarghi’s, then it must be his property. Otherwise, could someone else send them light via remote 5G Uchu Network Microwave?
He needed to find a way to take compensation from them later.
Great Adventure crossed his fingers, forming an iron fist over his head, striking down like a heavy hammer towards the four people below. However, this time the girls acquired new powers that cancelled the effects of the Dark Zone, making it easy for them to push the clunky Great Adventure off, rendering their once vast attack useless.
Great Adventure’s overly large body, compared to human size, moved so slowly in the girls’ eyes as if it were a snail.
“Boom—!”
His double-handed impact created massive craters as if meteorites had fallen, yet no enemies lay within.
Amidst the scattered boulders and debris, the Pretty Cures darted around as gracefully as swallows in the rain, deftly weaving through the gaps formed by sharp rocks. Countless projectiles flew their way, yet they narrowly evaded, unscathed.
Continuously jumping and rapidly closing in, the four girls instantly appeared in front of Great Adventure’s chest, directly facing the roaring engines that belched smoke. With a fierce shout, their punches, glowing with energies matching their colors, struck out.
“Pinky DokiDoki Punch!” (Pretty Cure Beat Heart Punch!)
The contrast between the gigantic steel giant and the girls resembled an adult squishing ants, but just as the humans attempted to crush the tiny creatures, a scene unfolds where the ants flip the fingers with an armlock, slamming the attackers onto the ground.
The engine’s output suddenly dropped significantly, emitting thick black smoke as Great Adventure fell back with a spine-chilling thud.
“This… What kind of power is this?!”
Regina, witnessing the scene, couldn’t hide her astonishment. She could not understand; just moments before, they had the upper hand.
“Regardless of the situation, as long as one doesn’t give up, miracles will respond. This is the essence of being a hero.”
Ash’s voice rang from behind, watching the girls transform into four streaks of light.
According to Ash, it seemed that the pink spirit flowing from Love guided and merged with Oozumi Studio’s light to create a completely new force which granted them the might to overwhelm Great Adventure.
“After all, creating miracles is what heroes are best at—miracles of endless possibilities.”
Always ready to fight for the sake of others, even those they do not know, the seemingly bound hero faces numerous challenges. Despite suffering mental and physical pain, even death, when people need a hero, they will rise again with unmatched power.
In any scenario or position, whether opponents or allies, scenes like these may fade with memory, but the wonders created by heroes remain in hearts.
This was the conclusion drawn by Ash after traversing countless worlds—a conclusion that couldn’t be overturned.
“Mm,” Regina pouted and hopped to Ash’s side, looking up just as she saw the corners of his mouth turn upward.
“Hold on, why are you so happy! Who are you—”
Before she could ask further, she remembered their previous conversation and recalled the exact words he said, ‘”If it’s boring, I’ll leave.”’
“Aha, you’re enjoying yourself over us!”
How dare you find entertainment in me?!
“Hahaha!” Ash burst into a hearty laugh.
“It’s too late now, Your Highness.”
Ignoring Regina’s complaints of “Let me go, my hair will get messed up!” Ash used an unstoppable force (limited to Showa’s modification) to catch the blonde girl beside him, rubbing her silky golden locks while grinning at the battlefield above. The butterfly clip bobbed rhythmically on the girl’s head.
Great Adventure took a huge shovel and hoe from his waist, extending his reach as the machines carelessly dug trenches around without catching the girls.
Despite their straightforward hits, Great Adventure dodged nothing, sparks, and explosions erupting all over his body while his armor disintegrated.
“It’s over.”
Ash declared decisively.
“How easy!”
Makoto, flipping backward, jumped several meters away, narrowly avoiding the massive shovel aimed at her face. Crouching mid-air, she flipped, hitting the face of the shovel, accelerating her run up its near-vertical length, leaving behind a trail of purple light. With a neck twist, she delivered a flying kick, sending Great Adventure’s helmet flying.
“What power!”
With this strength, Makoto felt confident that if she faced the Selfish Beast again, she could eliminate dozens or even hundreds of them without taking a breath.
Still, this power came from…
She couldn’t help but look towards Ash, who was playing with Regina, her emotions swirling. Her heart raced uncontrollably.
Do I hate him? Once the answer was affirmative, but now…
The wind that blew past startled her momentarily, but luckily, Rikka intervened, blocking Great Adventure’s massive hand with a punch, pushing it away.
“Don’t zone out at times like these!”
“Sorry, I won’t anymore!”
Her confusion was instantly replaced by resolve. Faced with Great Adventure, who was no longer a challenge, the Pretty Cures locked eyes, summoning Heart Bow and Arrow together.
Radiant, iridescent light lit up the dark sky. Four arrows fell, along with a new central ornament symbolizing new love.
Spotting the four-colored Heart Adornment, the girls grasped the strategy—it would channel their power to combat the enemy.
All they had to do next was simple.
Synchronizing their movements to the tune, the girls drew back, forming an orb of multicolored light behind.
“Pinky Cure Lovely Force Arrow!”
Great Adventure lowered his head to see the girls wink, releasing the bowstrings, transforming the hearts behind into powerful beams, striking straight through his body.
A gaping wound appeared on his chest where light pierced through, the light in his eyes flickering several times before dying out. Falling forward, he exploded into a massive ball of flame.

[To readers debating the relative strength of Great Adventure vs. Selfish King]
Great Adventure: If ranking by strength, Selfish King scores 100, how many points do I deserve? Sixty? Seventy? Maybe eighty max. But considering the Robo-Op pilots, Great Adventure Ultimate, the Infinite Spirit, could easily score three hundred or more.
Ash: None of those apply to me.
Great Adventure: No problem then.
