– Do you know Jindaru and Arang?
– You don’t know Arang?
– So, who is Arang?
– The world’s best Leore user, achieved WFK in the Abyss season. Soma, Assassin meter top 1, won first place in the event tournament, and is currently Korea’s top pro. You don’t know Arang?
“In short, she’s an incredibly amazing user, right?”
– It’s not just amazing. She’s freaking cute.
– Cute?
– She’s 15, but she’s super pretty and cute.
– I’ll search her up.
“Wow… I thought all our viewers here were Monster Hunter fans, but you know users from other games too?”
– It’s not just famous, lol. She’s super famous.
“Really?”
[Chicken Without Legs] After parting ways with the newbie, the chat continues to burn.
There has never been a time like this before, so I got curious about this Arang everyone’s talking about.
“Oh… she’s really cute.”
As soon as I searched for Arang on Ryugle, a flood of Leore screenshots came up.
“But why is everyone mad at [Chicken Without Legs]?”
– Uh… um…
– I can’t say…
– What do you mean you can’t say? [Chicken Without Legs] is insulting Arang. Does that mean Arang has no limbs?
“Huh? What nonsense are you talking about? This girl is 15.”
– …
– ??? What? Is this for real? Not a lie?
– No cap.
“You’re not lying, are you?”
Jindaru also got chills from the viewers’ reactions and quickly searched for Arang on Ryugle and went to Namu Wiki.
Even after a quick scan, there was nothing about limbs on Namu Wiki.
Namu Wiki has everything about marriage, divorce, controversies, but nothing about Arang’s limbs.
“But… there are a ton of controversy entries?”
Hacks, illegal modifications, guild member survival selection, stun immunity, menstruation, arena, tournaments, Morpho tears, alliance guilds, hunt debuffs, death.
The controversy section is probably five times longer than most people’s, making it hard not to question this user named Arang.
– Wow, is it because she’s famous? What’s with all the controversies, lol.
– Arang does have a lot of controversies… lol.
– That’s not the point. The point is she’s cute.
“She really is cute. Cuter than most child actors.”
Jindaru nods while looking at a collection of Arang’s Leore screenshots.
“But Leore has low customization freedom for appearance, but high for face customization, right?”
– Arang didn’t touch her appearance or face customization at all.
– It’s the same as real life.
– That face exists in real life? No way.
– Even if we don’t know much about Leore, this is definitely a lie.
– That face and that skill at 15? Lol.
The chat keeps talking about Arang and how amazing she is, but Jindaru, being a Monster Hunter player, isn’t that impressed.

Kwaaaaaaah!
Covering my ears instinctively at the ear-splitting roar, I looked at the monster roaring.
A monster named Ranjanaf, resembling a T-Rex.
Back when I played Monster Hunter, it was called the newbie cutter.
I remember struggling a lot when I first hunted this guy.
But now, I’m confident.
With my current virtual world-limited top-tier physicality and talent, I should be enough.
Or so I thought.
But VR Monster Hunter was way different than I expected.
The difficulty was on a whole other level compared to the basic monster I first hunted.
“Ugh!”
The tip of Ranjanaf’s tail grazed my shoulder.
Even though it wasn’t a direct hit, just the tail’s tip touching my shoulder made blood gush out, and I was sent flying.
I quickly got up, but by then, Ranjanaf’s head was already raised.
Even with its head raised, the embers at the corner of Ranjanaf’s mouth were clearly visible.
‘I have to dodge…!’
I desperately jumped sideways, and a flame breath scorched the spot where I was just standing, burning the surrounding plants into smoke.
“Ouch…”
The intense heat right beside me.
The killing intent from Ranjanaf in front.
The BGM making my heart race.
I thrust the greatsword in my right hand at Ranjanaf and charged again.
Kwoooooooh!
Ranjanaf, looking like it could easily devour me, roared and raised its head, preparing to shoot another flame breath.
Kwaaaang!!! The flame breath, shaking not just the air but the ground, narrowly missed my head and exploded.
I swung my greatsword down on Ranjanaf’s head while it was still recovering from the flame breath.
Kyaaaaah!
Ranjanaf let out a scream mixed with a roar and fell sideways.
“That’s it!!!”
Monsters, like players, have a stun gauge. When it fills up and bursts, the monster goes into a groggy state.
In groggy state, the monster falls and flails helplessly for a short time.
And that time is more than enough for me to deliver the best strike.
In Monster Hunter, if you ask which weapon can deal the most damage during a monster’s groggy state, everyone would say:
The greatsword.
With long pre and post-attack delays, and needing to charge for strong attacks, the greatsword.
It might not sound like a good weapon, but the greatsword has the romance of seeing the biggest damage numbers.
To exaggerate a bit, the damage other weapons deal in a minute, the greatsword can do in one hit.
The problem is landing that one hit is extremely, extremely hard.
But you can land that extremely, extremely hard hit during a monster’s groggy state.
I quickly ran to Ranjanaf’s fallen head and raised my greatsword high.
Like in Leore, Monster Hunter also uses system-designated skills when you take specific stances.
The moment the system recognized my motion, I canceled, canceled again.
And then pulled the greatsword back.
The reason I went through all these motions is just one.
The romance of the greatsword.
[True Charged Slash]
Aka, the Boom Crash.
The attack that deals the damage other weapons take a minute to do in one hit.
“Woooooooh!!!”
Roaring as if pulling strength from the depths of my body, I slammed the greatsword into the ground, then spun my body, using the rotation’s force to drive the greatsword into Ranjanaf’s head.
My whole body shook with the impact, and Ranjanaf’s scream and thrashing.
The sensation of the hit and the damage numbers, on a whole different level from before.
All the stress from rolling, dodging, blocking, and all the antics was blown away in one True Charged Slash.
“Kuh!!! This is why I use the greatsword!”
After finishing off Ranjanaf and gathering materials, I was happily heading back to camp when my preset alarm went off.
“Ah, is it already this late?”
Because of my period, it’s not good to play games for too long, so I set a timer.
I turned off the alarm and, with a reluctant heart, logged out of Monster Hunter.

[Leore Gallery]
[Where’s Arang…?]
It’s been 3 days since Arang last logged into Leore…
She said she’s healthy… healthy…
Has there ever been a time she didn’t log into Leore for this long…?
[Comments]
Arang doesn’t log in during her magic days. Last month during her magic days, she didn’t log in for a week either.
ㄴ Oh, really?
ㄴ Yeah, Arang said she takes breaks because she’s in more pain than others.
[Is the gallery owner really taking a break because of her magic days?]
The gallery owner probably knows most of Arang’s Leore playtime.
She pours everything into Leore, playing 16 hours a day.
But taking a week off because of her period? This is suspicious.
There’s a 99% chance it’s not just because of her period.
[Comments]
Right. Even my friends who are in pain log back in after 3 days.
ㄴYeah, no matter how much it hurts, they’re fine after 3 days. I’m like that too.
Arang said she’s healthy, but can we really believe that? Her last appearance in reality was being forced to log out and collapse…
ㄴFor real… We just believe her because she says she’s healthy, but deep down, we’re really worried;;;
[Guys, check this out]
(Jindaru’s stream screenshot)
There’s a weird guy in Monster Hunter right now.
This crazy guy is using a crazy nickname.
At first, I thought he was just a user who likes chicken breast.
(Video explaining the nickname’s meaning)
[Chicken Without Legs] This nickname is targeting Arang;;;
[Comments]
What’s this guy’s deal? Someone find out who he is.
Huh… Insulting the princess of Mars, the god of Leore? Does this guy not want to live in the virtual world?
Wow, look at his guts. He’s just a psycho.
