Chapter 112

A one-hour break due to an emergency inspection.

Everyone came in and discussed what to do after this inspection ended.

“If Leore has a plan, I think they’ll make sure you can monopolize the debuffs alone.”

“Isn’t there a chance they might block it? I think only Arang can do it, so they might just block it.”

Reina’s words made Sunchoo shake his head.

Wait, is that really a strategy only Arang can do? Leore basically prefers balance and averages.

That’s why they suddenly overhauled Soma’s meter, which completely broke it, and that’s why Arang even switched her job to Assassin.

“But if they stick to that concept and change it as Sunchoo said, it would mean Leore lacks the capability.”

“That’s also true.”

“For now, let’s proceed with Arang monopolizing the debuffs as we did earlier. Let’s stop talking about the hunt for now… Arang.”

“Yeah?”

At Reina’s words, I looked up and stared at her.

“How did you do that? Were you really blind?”

“Yeah. I couldn’t see a thing.”

It was pitch black, not a single light. Thinking about it now, it was really reckless.

Not only did I take all the debuffs while blind, but I also dealt damage to the boss. But since I couldn’t see, I couldn’t deal perfect damage and ended up last among the four dealers.

I barely did better than the tank, but being last among the dealers is a bit disappointing.

“Arang… how’s your body…?”

Pinku cautiously approached me and whispered, asking about my condition.

“Yeah. I’m fine!”

“Ah, Arang, wha, wha, wha, what’s wrong…!?”

Reina, who was hugging me, naturally heard Pinku’s words and panicked, whispering to the party members so they wouldn’t hear.

Thinking about it, Reina met me when I wasn’t in good condition, so that reality must still be fresh in her memory.

So her reaction is understandable.

“No, don’t worry. It’s just my period—ugh!”

While I was trying to reassure them about my health, Pinku covered my mouth.

All the party members who were casually chatting suddenly looked at me in shock.

‘Why are they making such a fuss over a period…?’

I know that women feel embarrassed about their periods and find it uncomfortable to talk about it with others.

But as someone who was originally male, I don’t feel particularly embarrassed or uncomfortable about it.

In fact, for me, having a period is a sign that I’m healthy. Of course, the discomfort and pain that come with it are annoying.

After the inspection, we immediately started the hunt trial.

This time, as discussed, I monopolized the debuffs alone.

Of course, we didn’t succeed on the first try.

The one-hour break disrupted my senses, and it took time to refocus.

On the third try, I successfully took all eight debuffs and proceeded to chip away at the boss’s health.

“Arang! A white sphere has appeared at your 11 o’clock!”

Following Reina’s order, I used a movement skill to jump over the boss and ran forward.

The pure white sphere, not the black debuff sphere, was obviously a sphere that removed debuffs.

“Oh, I see it!”

Just eating one sphere removed all stacked debuffs.

“This is a bargain!”

Not only did it reduce the debuff stack by one, but it also removed all of them. Plus, since this mechanic was designed for two people to take the debuffs, another one appeared.

We decided to eat all the spheres that appeared here, so I happily ate the extra one.

With all debuffs gone and after eating the white sphere, a white sphere icon appeared on the buff icon.

‘Attack +10%, Defense +10%, Health +10%, Critical Hit +10%, Critical Damage +10%…? What is this insane buff?’

“Arang!”

“Atk, Def, HP, Crit, Crit Damage +10% buff!”

“Huh?”

Another white sphere appeared.

From Leore’s perspective, it seems like two people were supposed to take the debuffs, eat two white spheres to remove them, and then eat another sphere to see what buff it gives.

But since I monopolized the debuffs, the buff spheres stacked twice.

With my vision back and double-stacked buffs, my DPS skyrocketed, and I started breaking the meter.

The most important point of this hunt was taking turns to eat the debuffs.

The reason was that in the next mechanic, eight debuff spheres appeared at once, and I ate them all.

The problem was that the debuffs, which were supposed to stack one at a time, stacked twice.

It seems like the first mechanic was supposed to be eaten by someone else, but since I could eat all the debuff spheres even without seeing them, it wasn’t a problem for me.

Plus, eating the debuffs didn’t remove the existing buffs. Instead, eating a buff sphere removed all debuffs without stacking the buff.

That’s why, instead of stacking one buff per mechanic, I started stacking two.

The original strategy and the buffs per mechanic were different. While it was a simple overall stat buff, the 10% difference per buff meant a roughly 23% damage increase per buff.

With a 23% difference per buff stack, if the stacks differ by one each mechanic, how much difference would there be by the end?

The boss’s attacks and patterns should be harder due to the vision reduction from debuffs, but without the vision debuff, the boss’s patterns and mechanics were nothing to the world’s best party members.

Plus, with my buffs already stacked to six, my damage increase was an absurd 132%, and my meter shot through the roof.

The hunt, now devoid of debuffs, became too easy for the combined forces of the best Mea’d and the strongest Arang Arang parties.

With the buff stacks that shouldn’t exist, I dealt damage I’d never seen before, and the boss’s health dropped rapidly until it finally fell.

The hunt boss, the Pitch Black Draconian, lost its form, turned into black liquid, and was absorbed into the ground, disappearing.

The effects, achievements, and titles that appeared upon clearing showed that we had achieved a Perfect Clear.

“Kuh!”

The Perfect Clear title, being for a hunt and not a raid, was smaller and simpler than the WFK title, but it still proved that we were the fastest to clear in Leore, which felt good.

“Why are you making noises like an uncle drinking?”

Echo shrugged his shoulders and approached.

“Yay~”

I reached out my hands towards Echo.

“Huh? Huh?”

Echo, unsure what to do with my hands, just hugged me.

“Huh? Did you want a hug?”

“Uh…? Didn’t you reach out for a hug?”

“I was asking for a high-five, but you just hugged me…?”

“W-wait!!!”

“Pfft. Just kidding.”

“Hey! Don’t joke like that. My heart can’t take it…!”

“Echo…?”

Reina, emitting a terrifying aura from behind, glared at Echo, who hastily handed me over to her.

Reina hugged me and turned her body away from Echo.

[Leore Gallery]

[Arang Union Party Perfect Clear]

Where can I use this Arang party mechanic strategy? LOL

Being blind, just listening to orders, eating debuff spheres, dodging party members’ attacks, and avoiding boss patterns.

The strategy is so simple! Just do this, and you can Perfect Clear too!

LOLOLOLOLOLOL Are you kidding me?

I’m so curious about Arang’s perspective. Honestly, unless it’s a bug that lets you see despite the debuffs, this makes no sense LOL

I really wish Arang would stream and show us.

[Comments]

I’m really curious. How can you move and deal damage like that without vision?

ㄴExactly LOL Every time I watch, I’m just baffled LOL

The gallery owner has never streamed before. Is it possible?

ㄴLet’s ask at the cafe.

ㄴOh, good idea.

ㄴLimbs, deploy!

ㄴLimbs LOLOLOL I can’t get used to it every time I see it.
