Episode 11. New gacha is always welcome.

Of course, if you ask if it’s good to restore the gacha now, most users would definitely tilt their heads in confusion.

And for good reason. Like many other mobile gacha games, including this one, characters and ships that can be obtained through the gacha system require additional, separate resources to use, unlike the ones you can normally pull.

But on the other hand, for us here right now… we’ve never even gotten any of the special currency needed to roll the beautiful gacha.

To an outsider, it might seem like Jessica is saying I’m just wasting resources for no reason…

Jessica, being an NPC in the game, didn’t seem to know, but even though this game is stingy and feeds users all kinds of crap, they do give out a free 10-pull for the first gacha, even if it’s time-limited.

Anyway, in this early stage, there’s no way we’ll encounter enemies that our patrol ships can’t handle, so we need to pull another superhuman to pair with our King-Doryu Ignis.

Of course, the current situation—focusing on raising Ignis while blocking the rest with the fleet—isn’t necessarily bad. In fact, it’s quite efficient with minimal resources.

But the problem is, as I’ve mentioned before, Ignis is strictly a ‘close-range’ and ‘anti-personnel’ character.

If pirates attack us later and there’s an S-rank or higher individual who can counter Ignis, or if space monsters that rely on sheer numbers appear, our base and Ignis might end up wobbling from the cosmic tentacles.

Moreover, if we lose to the space monsters, they’re very PC-friendly creatures that don’t discriminate based on gender.

I shuffled back to my room to take a short break.

Well, gacha disasters like this are common enough.

I thought a little rest would help me regain my composure.

But there was one thing I hadn’t realized.

I did a 10-pull, but the gacha machine only gave me 9 results.

What happened to the remaining one? After taking a break and falling into a deep sleep.

It was only after waking up late that I realized my gacha result was actually a ‘success’.
