After serving the drinks, the waitress left, closing the door behind Axi and his companions.

Suddenly, only three people remained in the room, and it became eerily silent.

After a long pause, the mysterious man looked at Axi and asked first, “Did you come alone today?”

Axi frowned.

He was momentarily confused about why the other party would ask such a question.

But soon, his expression changed.

He noticed the mysterious man’s movements.

The mysterious man took down three goblets from the tray.

It was obvious that there was a third person still present in the room.

And that third person came with him.

Seeing that Axi had realized something, the mysterious man looked in the direction of Airael and asked, “Beautiful lady, aren’t you going to come out and have a drink with us?”

At that moment, Airael knew she had been exposed.

She stepped out confidently and smiled, “Since you’re so hospitable, how can I refuse?”

With that, Airael walked over and sat down with her back to the door.

Axi and the mysterious man sat facing each other, side-on to the door.

Airael smiled apologetically at Axi and said, “Sorry, I was so bored staying at the inn, and your mysteriousness really stirred my curiosity.”

Axi was left speechless.

At this point, the mysterious man greeted her.

“You can call me Shadow.”

“Hello, Mr. Shadow!”

Airael replied politely.

As soon as she finished her greeting, she immediately asked, “Um, can I ask how you found me?”

Shadow replied, displaying a hint of boastfulness.

Airael pouted at his words.

Both Airael and Axi’s faces turned pale.
